A buffalo with a distinctive hairstyle is going viral for its resemblance to President Donald Trump.
The rare albino buffalo, nicknamed "Donald Trump," has become a sensation at Bangladesh’s national zoo thanks to its blond tuft of hair, which many say resembles the president’s signature look.
The animal first gained attention after a local farmer noticed the resemblance.
A video of the pale, horned buffalo quickly spread across social media, drawing crowds to a farm outside Dhaka where it was being kept.
'SUPER RARE' ALBINO SQUIRREL SPOTTED ON GOLF COURSE: 'KEEP AN EYE OUT'
The buffalo was originally sold and slated for slaughter during Eid al-Adha, the Muslim "Feast of Sacrifice," but government officials intervened and ordered the animal transferred to the national zoo in the capital.
Since arriving at the zoo, the buffalo has attracted large crowds and sparked debate over its unusual nickname.
Some visitors embraced the comparison.
DAVID MARCUS: TO BURNISH TRUMP'S LEGACY, WE NEED TO STOP NAMING THINGS AFTER HIM
"There is a resemblance to Donald Trump in its eyes, hairstyle, and skin color," Mohammed Nasim, a student in Dhaka, told The Associated Press.
"And just as Donald Trump has a distinctive personality and lifestyle, this buffalo, after going viral, is now living a similar kind of life, enjoying a lot of attention and special treatment," he added.
According to local media reports, the exhibit initially featured a sign identifying the animal as "Donald Trump," though the sign has since been removed.
The zoo’s curator was later fired, although officials have not publicly disclosed the reason for the dismissal.
As visitors crowded around the enclosure this week, many stopped to take photos and videos of the increasingly famous buffalo.
Others, however, said naming the animal after the president was inappropriate.
"Giving a farm animal the name of one of the world’s most influential leaders was certainly the wrong thing to do," local resident Mohammad Joynal Adedin told the AP.
Still, Adedin made the trip to the zoo to see the buffalo for himself.
"It seems disrespectful," he added. "I think the farmer who did this made a poor decision."

A 39-year-old man pleaded not guilty on Friday to threatening former Prince Andrew near his new home on the royal family’s Sandringham estate.
Alex Jenkinson, 39, is accused of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior toward the former prince, whose royal titles were removed last year by King Charles III due to his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
Jenkinson, who faces two counts, is accused of threatening Andrew on Wednesday and another man on Tuesday.
The former Duke of York is also expected to give evidence in the trial, which is set for July 29 at the Westminster Magistrates' Court.
Andrew was allegedly yelled at by a masked man while walking his dogs near his home, the Daily Telegraph reported.
"Officers attended, and the man was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon," the police statement said.
The incident comes three months after Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, as he is now known, was arrested, himself, on suspicion of misconduct in public office connected to his Epstein ties and his time as the U.K. trade envoy.
Andrew moved to Sandringham earlier this year after he was asked to vacate his home at the Royal Lodge in Windsor.
Virginia Giuffre, Andrew’s main accuser, claimed that she was forced to have sex with the royal three times starting when she was 17 years old.
Andrew has denied all of the accusations against him, but settled with Giuffre in 2022 over her civil sexual assault lawsuit. She later died of suicide in 2025.
Jenkinson appeared in court remotely from King's Lynn Police Investigation Centre in Norfolk on Friday with his arm in a sling.
He did plead guilty to failing to provide specimen of blood while in custody.
Jenkinson was released on bail on the condition that he doesn’t enter the county of Norfolk, attempt any contact with Andrew, and he must stay 500 meters away from Sandringham, Buckingham Palace, Balmoral Castle, Windsor Castle and Highgrove.

After a two-week manhunt, authorities have arrested the suspected fugitive mother-in-law accused of killing a former Mexican beauty queen, Mexican officials announced Thursday.
Authorities said 27-year-old Carolina Flores Gómez, who was crowned Miss Teen Universe Baja California in 2017, was fatally shot April 15 inside her apartment in one of Mexico City’s most affluent neighborhoods, according to local outlet El País.
Erika María Herrera was captured in Venezuela after Mexican authorities obtained an arrest warrant and worked in coordination with Interpol to issue a Red Notice, enabling Venezuelan law enforcement to locate and detain her after the alleged murder, Mexican officials said.
"The detained individual is currently in the custody of authorities in that country, while the necessary procedures are carried out to formalize her extradition to Mexico," the Mexico City Attorney General’s Office said.

Herrera was identified as a lead suspect in the murder investigation, according to local reports, after video evidence later surfaced on social media showing the mother-in-law at the scene.
The victim was found with 12 gunshot wounds, including six to the head and six to the chest, inside a Polanco neighborhood apartment she shared with Herrera's son, Alejandro, and the couple’s 8-month-old child, Mexican outlet Record reported.
The son is also under investigation after reports indicated he allowed his mother to flee before reporting the shooting the next day, raising the possibility of a cover-up, El País added.

Video recorded by a baby monitor and released by local outlet Reforma, appeared to capture the moments leading up to the alleged killing, all while the son was nearby caring for the baby.
In the clip, the mother was seen following Flores into a room before multiple gunshots were heard followed by a scream.
In response, the son appeared to walk into the frame holding his child to confront his mother, asking what had happened.

In a baffling turn, Maria appeared to respond callously to her son.
"Nothing, she just made me angry," the mom said as she walked away.
"What are you doing? She is my family," he said.
The mother was then heard explaining, "You are mine, and she stole you."
Flores’ mother, Reyna Gomez Molina, told Univision News the son allegedly delayed reporting the incident out of fear that the child would be placed in foster care.
"Thinking that if he was arrested, the baby would go to a children’s home. He made sure to record videos so they would know how to feed the child while he was away taking care of all the paperwork. That’s what he told me," she said, adding that her offer to take care of her grandson was declined.
She had also pressed the son to clarify whether he had been next to the victim the entire time before reporting the incident but did not provide further details, according to the outlet.

An 89-year-old gunman allegedly opened fire inside two Athens government buildings Tuesday, wounding at least four people in a rare outbreak of violence that rattled Greece’s tightly controlled gun landscape and ended with his arrest hours later.
Police said the suspect first stormed a social security office, went up to the fourth floor and fired, striking an employee in the leg. Officials said the gunman warned one worker to duck before pulling the trigger, though he didn't appear to specifically target the employee he hit.
"He went in, went up to the fourth floor, raised his shotgun, told an employee to duck and hit another one," Alexandros Varveris, head of Greece’s National Social Security Fund, told state broadcaster ERT radio.
The wounded man was treated at the scene, but the suspect fled and later opened fire again inside a courthouse in another part of the city, where several people were wounded.

An employee conducting routine maintenance at a Tokyo theme park reportedly died after becoming trapped for an extended period inside the mechanism of an attraction ride.
The incident occurred at Tokyo Dome City Attractions on the "Flying Balloon" ride on Tuesday, the company said.
"During routine maintenance work on the ride, one of our employees became trapped within the ride's gondola mechanism," the company said. "Following rescue operations, the employee was transported to a hospital, where their death was subsequently confirmed."
According to local media outlet NHK World Japan, the worker was identified by police as 24-year-old Kamimura Hina. It took roughly five hours for personnel to free her, but she was ultimately pronounced dead at a hospital.
"Flying Balloon" is reportedly a 12-seat ride where passengers sit in a circle around a central pillar. The seats rotate and rise along the structure to a height of roughly 30 feet.
During the operator’s monthly inspection, the seats were elevated, allowing Kamimura and five colleagues to access and inspect the ride’s mechanisms, according to the outlet.
The victim is believed to have been working on a stepladder when the raised seats suddenly fell, trapping her against the central pillar.

A 67-year-old Carnival Cruise passenger died last week while snorkeling off the coast of mainland Australia during an excursion.
The woman, who has not been publicly identified, was a passenger aboard the Carnival Splendor, which offers snorkeling excursions to the Tangalooma Wrecks. She reportedly drowned near Moreton Island on April 17, Cruise Hive reported.
"Carnival Cruise Line is deeply saddened by the death of a guest on Moreton Island on Friday," the cruise line told local media. "Our Care Team is supporting the guest’s family during this difficult time."
Fox News Digital has reached out to Carnival.
FATAL FIRE ENGULFS CRUISE SHIP WITH HUNDREDS OF PASSENGERS ABOARD: ‘I PANICKED'
Local authorities said the woman, a resident of Tasmania, was found unresponsive in the water.
"Attempts were made to revive the woman, however, she was pronounced deceased at the scene," a Queensland Police spokesperson told Fox News Digital. "Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding her death."
The death occurred during the ship's four-night round trip cruise from Sydney, which included two days at sea and 10 hours at Moreton Island.
The waters around the island, located off the coast of Brisbane, are generally calm and are known for shipwreck snorkeling sites and diverse marine life.
The woman's death occurred only hours before another emergency on the same ship. On April 18, a passenger in his 70s reportedly climbed over the vessel's safety rails and went overboard.
An intensive search lasted for several hours before being suspended. The two incidents are not believed to be linked.
