Trump further called on the UK to ‘get rid of windmills.’
By now, no one is surprised that US President Donald J. Trump is out on social media criticizing the suicidal energy policies of the leftist Labour government of the United Kingdom.
Under failing Prime Minister Keir Starmer, the British keep following the ‘green’ playbook that has ruined economies and debased standards of living across Europe.
“The United Kingdom refuses to open North Sea Oil, one of the greatest fields in the World. Tragic!!!
Aberdeen should be booming. Norway sells its North Sea Oil to the UK at double the price. They are making a fortune.
The UK, which is better situated on the North Sea for energy purposes than Norway, should DRILL, BABY, DRILL!!!
It is absolutely crazy that they don’t… AND, NO MORE WINDMILLS! President DJT.”
“Donald Trump has launched an attack on [Energy Secretary] Ed Miliband’s ‘crazy’ ban on new oil and gas exploration in the North Sea.
The US president called on Labour to ‘drill, baby drill’, criticizing the UK Government for cutting back on exploration just as Europe and the world are ‘desperate for energy’ following the crisis sparked by his war in the Middle East.”
“[Energy Secretary Ed] Miliband has so far resisted calls to weaken his North Sea crackdown, claiming that more drilling will not reduce bills or provide substantial amounts of new energy.”

Meloni lacks courage, says Trump.
As the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz is ongoing, and the fragile US-Iran ceasefire still holds, Donald J. Trump keeps fighting the PR-social media war with guns blazing, never leaving an attack, a slight, or an affront unanswered.
This time, his target was Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, once an ally.
Meloni has just weathered a defeat in an important referendum on Judicial reform, and is now toeing the public opinion line very carefully, leading her to strive to keep away from the Iran confrontations, and to defend Pope Leo’s interference in political issues, denouncing Trump’s criticism as ‘unacceptable’.
So, today, Trump told an Italian newspaper that he was ‘shocked’ by Meloni’s behavior.
Trump said that he expected her to be more courageous, delivering scathing criticism to Meloni.
Trump blasts Meloni:
Does the Italian public like the fact that your prime minister isn’t giving us any help in getting the oil?
Do people like it? I can’t imagine they do.
I’m shocked by her. I thought she had courage—I was wrong.
“Trump responded in an interview with Corriere della Sera, saying Meloni was ‘very different from what I thought’ and denouncing her for refusing to help re-open the Strait of Hormuz, which has been blocked by Iran.
‘I’m shocked by her. I thought she had courage. I was wrong’, he is quoted as saying in the Italian-language article posted online.”
When criticizing her for failing to back US efforts in the Middle East, Trump said Meloni wanted America ‘to do the job for her’.
“Asked about her condemnation of his comments on Pope Leo, he said: ‘She is the one who is unacceptable, because she does not care whether Iran has a nuclear weapon and would blow Italy up in two minutes if it had the chance’.”
Trump:
“Iran would blow up Italy in two minutes if it had the chance.”
“’They (Italy) pay the highest energy costs in the world and are not even ready to fight for the Strait of Hormuz… They depend on Donald Trump to keep it open’, Trump said.”
“North Korea conducted another test of strategic cruise missiles and anti-warship missiles on Sunday as part of operational efficiency trials of its destroyer Choe Hyon, state media KCNA said on Tuesday.
Leader Kim Jong Un observed the test alongside senior defense officials and naval commanders, the report said.”

Leader Kim was briefed of two additional destroyers under construction, the third and fourth vessels of the Choe Hyon class.
“Kim said strengthening what he called the country’s nuclear war deterrent remained a top priority, and called for improving strategic and tactical strike capabilities and rapid-response readiness, the report said.”
This was the second test-fire of weapons on the Choe Hyon, after the first one in April 2025.
‘My mental state is collapsing. My spirit is breaking’: Harvey Weinstein told the judge in January
Former Hollywood power player and alleged serial rapist Harvey Weinstein is back on trial in New York.
Again? Yes. The situation with the Harvey Weinstein trials, retrials, mistrial, convictions and acquittals can be quite confusing, so here’s a quick rundown:
Weinstein has been convicted in California in 2022 for three sex crimes, committed in 2013, against an unidentified Italian model and actress: Forcible rape, Forcible oral copulation and Sexual penetration by a foreign object.
For the crimes in this California trial, he was sentenced to 16 years in prison.
So far, it’s simple to understand. But then, there are the New York trials.
Today, Weinstein faces a THIRD New York trial on the rape charge involving hairstylist and actress Jessica Mann.
His original 2020 conviction was overturned by New York’s highest court in 2024 due to improper admission of testimony from uncharged accusers, which would have prejudiced the jury.
So, Weinstein had a 2025 retrial, in which prosecutors charged him with crimes against three women: the jury convicted him of one criminal sexual act count (involving Mimi Haley), acquitted him on another (involving Kaja Sokola), but was deadlocked on the Jessica Mann rape charge — leading to a mistrial.
Prosecutors chose to retry the unresolved Mann count alone, with jury selection now starting today.
After falling from the heights of Tinseltown fame to the depths of infamy, Weinstein has been locked in a prison cell for the last 8 years, since his arrest in May 2018.
“Jury selection is set to start as early as Tuesday in the onetime movie mogul’s latest retrial, where jurors will weigh — for the third time — whether he raped hairstylist and actor Jessica Mann in a Manhattan hotel in 2013.
But ‘it’s not going to be a mirror image of the last trial’, new Weinstein lawyer Marc Agnifilo told Judge Curtis Farber last month.
This time, jurors will weigh only one charge based on one accuser, rather than the array of allegations that were aired at Weinstein’s previous trials in New York and Los Angeles. The Oscar-winning producer denies all the accusations and declared in court this winter that he had ‘acted wrongly, but I never assaulted anyone’.”
Weinstein has been behing bars for the last eight years
Weinstein is now being defended by Marc Agnifilo, who recently spearheaded the defense of now-incarcerated former rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
“His sexual assault conviction involving [Mimi] Haley carries the potential for up to 25 years in prison; no sentencing date has been set. In this case, the yet-to-be-decided rape charge is a lower-level felony punishable by up to four years behind bars.”
Sanchez and his wife, Gomez, were charged with influence peddling and bribery
The ‘good’, old socialist corruption.
The socialist Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez leads one of the most scandalous governments in Europe, and it’s getting worse.
Just imagine a head of government whose wife, brother, and all top party officials are under investigation for corruption, and whose party is sinking under multiple accusations of sexual assault.
Now, the situation has escalated further, as Sanchez’s wife Begoña Gómez is to face trial for influence peddling and bribery.
This comes as a hard blow to the premier in runup to the 2026 elections.
“Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s wife, Begoña Gómez, has been charged with corruption after a two-year criminal investigation, according to a court ruling.
Gómez is accused of using her relationship to advance her private career through a position at Madrid’s Complutense University. She is also accused of using public resources to advance private interests.”
Sanchez: surrounded by scandals
“She was charged with embezzlement, influence peddling, corruption in business dealings and misappropriation of funds, the ruling said. It is now up to the courts to decide whether she will stand trial.”
PM Sanchez dismissed the allegations as ‘an attempt by the right-wing to undermine his coalition’.
“When the investigation started, Sánchez suspended public duties for five days to ‘stop and reflect’ on whether to remain in the job due to ‘the mud’ that the right and far-right were trying to drag politics into.”
Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar left behind an ecological mess
Talk about a dangerous invasive species.
Today, Colombian officials agreed on a plan to cull dozens of hippos roaming freely through the country.
The huge African beasts occupy a fertile and humid region in the center of the country, and there they are a menace to villagers and are displacing the native species.
Colombia will launch a plan in the second half of 2026 to control its invasive hippopotamus population, including euthanizing an initial 80 animals, Environment Minister Irene Velez said on Monday. https://t.co/vJcB9kSo2jhttps://t.co/vJcB9kSo2j
“Environment Minister Irene Vélez said the decision was reached because other methods to control their population have been expensive and unsuccessful, including neutering some of the animals or moving them to zoos. Vélez said that up to 80 hippos would be affected by the measure. She did not say when the hunting would begin.
‘If we don’t do this, we will not be able to control the population’, Vélez said. ‘We have to take this action to preserve our ecosystems’.”
The Hippos are totally disrupting the ecosystem of Colombian rivers
Only in Colombia will you find a wild hippo population outside of Africa.
These fearsome beasts are the descendants of four animals from Pablo Escober’s private zoo in Hacienda Nápoles.
Hay preocupación por la presencia de hipopótamos en municipios de Antioquia, en Barrancabermeja (Santander) y hasta en Santa Marta. Las autoridades ambientales advierten sobrepoblación de estas especies.
“A study published by Colombia’s National University estimated that around 170 hippos were roaming freely in the country in 2022.
Recently, hippos have been spotted in areas that are more than 100 kilometers (60 miles) north of the ranch, where Escobar initially introduced the water-dwelling pachyderms.”
After unleashing police and military on protesters, Ireland government starts to partially agree to protesters’ demands.
Today it’s ‘day 7’ of the mass protests in Ireland over the cost of fuel.
While the rise of prices is primarily caused by the war in Iran, the suicidal energy policies of the Globalist Irish government are also to blame.
Protesters are demanding the suspension or removal of the carbon tax on fuels — especially agricultural diesel.
They are also calling for resuming domestic oil exploration instead of the current policies restricting fossil fuel development in favor of ‘rapid decarbonization’.
Last week, the Irish government set the army on small groups of workers.
This week, the people are shutting down the whole country, supported by the world.
After the police and military crackdown backfired, now the Irish government is trying to bargain: more than €500 million in tax cuts on motor fuel has been announced, ‘in an attempt to placate protesters snarling key ports and roadways’.
“Prime Minister Micheál Martin announced the cuts hours after police successfully cleared protesters from the ports of Galway and Foynes in western Ireland as well as on Dublin’s central boulevard, O’Connell Street, which tractors and trucks had blocked since Tuesday. The clearances came a day after police backed by soldiers broke a similar blockade of the country’s only oil refinery at Whitegate in County Cork.”
JUST IN: The Irish truckers and farmers are currently EXPLODING the nationwide protests against their government’s Green New Scam policies
Despite going for days, the convoys are only getting BIGGER!
The Premier denied that tax cuts were a reward for the protesters, and added that he would not speak directly to ‘unelected’ protest leaders.
“‘It’s beyond comprehension that we were on the precipice of losing oil refining capacity in the country in the middle of an unprecedented global supply shortage of energy’, Martin said. “It makes absolutely no sense what was going on.”

Budapest is in danger, now.
Conservatives around the world are saddened by the crushing electoral defeat sustained by right-wing hero, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, the man Brussels loves to hate.
After spending the last years under constant siege by the EU Globalist establishment, and with a campaign where widespread illegal wiretaps were used to sway the population, Orbán conceded defeat today after what he called a ‘painful’ election result.
This defeat ends 16 years in power defending family and traditional values, building bridges to both US President Donald J. Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“’I congratulated the victorious party’, Orbán told supporters in Budapest. “We are going to serve the Hungarian nation and our homeland from opposition as well.
Initial official results show opposition leader Peter Magyar’s party dominating the election.”
Today’s election had the highest turnout in Hungary’s post-Communist history, with almost 78% of eligible voters having cast their ballots.
“Viktor Orbán’s election defeat was met with a huge sigh of relief, and a bit of schadenfreude, in Brussels, as European officials hope a new Hungarian government will bring more pro-European attitude to the table.
Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, said on social media that ‘Hungary has chosen Europe’.
‘Europe has always chosen Hungary. Together, we are stronger. A country reclaims its European path. The Union grows stronger’, she said.”
As Trump has said, Starmer ‘is no Winston Churchill’.
With the breakdown in peace negotiations between the US and Iran, President Donald J. Trump has determined that the US Navy will implement a naval blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.
And, to no one’s surprise, this announcement was followed by a reaction from failing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who refused to join the blockade.
Apart from being another instance in which the Labour party leader fails to live up to his duty to his main ally, the US, it is also a black eye on the British Royal Navy and its much-degraded capabilities.
BREAKING: The UK will not be involved in a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Sky News understands.
Earlier today, Donald Trump said the U.S. Navy would be blocking the critical shipping route.
“However, The Telegraph understands that Britain will not play a role in enforcing the blockade.
[…] Downing Street said the UK was ‘urgently working with France and other partners to put together a wide coalition to protect freedom of navigation’.
Britain has mine-hunting systems in the region that could be used to help clear the strait of naval mines laid by Iran, Sir Keir said.”
Trump’s plan to blockade the Strait of Hormuz would halt the nearly 2 million barrels a day of Iranian oil that’s been passing through the waterway, further squeezing global supply and cutting off a vital lifeline for the country. https://t.co/JZtXyYBd8w
Meanwhile, Trump continued his attacks on Starmer, comparing him to the infamous British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, who chose appeasement of the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler in the 1930’s.
Trump compares Starmer’s actions on Iran with those of Neville Chamberlain
“Very disappointing – I mean, look at the United Kingdom. PM Starmer said ‘we’ll send the equipment after the war is over’. I said ‘you don’t need equipment when the war is over. You need the equipment before the war starts, or during the war’… He made a public statement that ‘we will send equipment after the war is over’, that’s a Neville Chamberlain statement.”
Between road blockages and popular demonstrations, the protests keep growing
Ireland has awakened.
The massive fuel price protests began on April 7, 2026, and are now today (12) in their sixth day.
While it’s fair to say that the fuel spike we are witnessing is caused by the military conflict in Iran and the closure of the vital waterways of the Strait of Hormuz, that is not the entire story.
What we are seeing is the action of ordinary Irish truckers, farmers, transporters, taxi and bus drivers that are pushing back against suicidal ‘green’ policies implemented by the Irish government.
These policies, as they are, align with international climate commitments, including the EU’s net-zero agenda and carbon pricing mechanisms.
Protesters explicitly demand the suspension or removal of the carbon tax on fuels — especially agricultural diesel.
Protesters are also calling for resuming domestic oil exploration off Ireland’s west coast, whereas current policies restrict fossil fuel development in favor of ‘rapid decarbonization’.
BREAKING: MASSIVE numbers of Irish patriots are out on the streets today to oppose the communist government
HOLY CRAP! A jaw-droppingly huge convoy of Irish patriot truckers and tractors FLOOD the roadways to protest the climate tyranny elitists trying to destroy their way of life
“Authorities moved in to disperse the protesters to restore supplies after five days of nationwide demonstrations over soaring fuel prices.
Law enforcers, supported by armed forces personnel, moved in to reopen the Whitegate refinery in County Cork and escort fuel trucks on Saturday.
After Ireland’s Defense Forces joined the police in clearing the protests, Irish police chief Justin Kelly said on Saturday that the fuel protesters’ actions were ‘endangering the state’.”

IRISH commuters are being warned to expect significant delays today – as the fuel protests continue for the sixth day. Public transport is also facing delays on its major services amid the fuel protests, including blockades and limited fuel supplies.
Dublin’s M50, the biggest motorway in the country, was cleared in the early hours of this morning as part of Garda operations to remove blockage and restore access to the public.”

Artemis II Crew (Reid Wiseman, Christina Koch, Jeremy Hansen, and Victor Glover) with the Orion capsule ‘Integrity’ – NASA/X
What a difference ten days make.
After the historic space mission orbiting around the moon, and the ‘textbook’ splashdown off the coast of San Diego, the Artemis II astronauts were welcomed as heroes in Houston.
Let’s run that back. One more time… Or two?
Our crew is now safely back on Earth. Relive the historic mission, and keep an eye on our website as more images and videos keep rolling in. https://t.co/FoYXKVvve5pic.twitter.com/svDaL8ZXpc
“On Saturday, the Artemis II crew returned to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in celebration of their historic 10-day moon mission and a successfully splashdown back to Earth off the coast of California on Friday.
The astronauts’ mission produced stunning views of the dark side of the moon, and the naming of two new areas on the moon — one after the capsule Integrity, and the other named in memory of Commander Reid Wiseman’s late wife.”
“It’s a special thing to be a human and it’s a special thing to be on planet Earth.”
Mission Specialist Christina Koch shared the moment when the Moon mission felt completed.
“’Ten days ago, this journey started with our mission manager Sean Duvall knocking on my door in crew quarters ‘Christina, we’re go for launch. Get up!’, she said to adoring fans at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. ‘And it ended last night when my nurse on the ship put me to bed and said, ‘Ma’am, can I get a hug?’’ Koch revealed to applause.”

Donald J. Trump and Keir Starmer – Official White House Photo by Daniel Torok/Wiki Commons
Starmer is lost at the helm of a decadent Britain.
A defining characteristic of failed Keir Starmer’s Premiership is the fact that he is always changing his mind and making ‘U-turns’, a sign that his policies and his decisions are a matter solely of political convenience.
But the fact is that many of his Labour policies are so bad, that his reversing them ends up being his most positive contribution.
Take, for example, his incomprehensible plan to give the Chagos Islands back to Mauritius: harshly criticized by Donald J. Trump, and now apparently shelved.
Trump launches a harsh attack on the United Kingdom
It all stems from the decision to transfer the island of Diego Garcia to Mauritius — home to a key US military base.
Trump called the move a sign of weakness and said it had already been noticed in Moscow and Beijing.… pic.twitter.com/hn1AOnbzq7
The UK press reported today that the Labour government is setting aside the Chagos Islands handover plan because of opposition from Trump’s administration.
“A bill underpinning the deal will not be included in the King’s Speech next month, The Times and other outlets reported on Saturday. POLITICO reported in February that Starmer’s administration would ‘pause for thought’ on the Chagos plan.
The biggest island in the archipelago, Diego Garcia, hosts a US-UK military base. Starmer had tried to complete a handover deal under which Britain would pay the Indian Ocean island £3.4 billion over a century to secure continued use of the crucial military base.”
In February, Trump warned Starmer that he was ‘making a big mistake’, called it ‘an act of great stupidity’.
BREAKING:
Trump writes that he has talked to Keir Starmer about his decision to transfer sovereignty of the Chagos islands from the UK to Mauritius.
Trump writes that no matter what happens, the U.S. won’t give up its military base on Diego Garcia. pic.twitter.com/ttYuY53Vya
“The agreement was meant to avoid a potentially painful and expensive legal dispute with Mauritius over the former colony. Indeed, after Trump’s intervention last month, Mauritius said that it was exploring legal tools against London.
[…] The decision to put the agreement on hold follows increasing tensions over the military cooperation between Britain and the U.S. Starmer refused to support the American-Israeli attacks on Iran, and he allowed Washington to use U.K. military bases only for defensive strikes.”
The Chagos Archipelago will remain British — at least for now
The United Kingdom has backed away from transferring the Chagos Archipelago to Mauritius under pressure from the United States. The move had previously been strongly criticized by Trump.
“Dhananjay Ramful, the Mauritian foreign minister, told an Indian Ocean conference in Mauritius: ‘We will spare no effort to seize any diplomatic or legal avenue to complete the decolonization process. This is a matter of justice’.
[…] Under the terms of the shelved plan, Britain would have ceded sovereignty of the Chagos to Mauritius and paid around £35bn to lease the air base back for 99 years.”

Russia is cleaning house.
Under Vladimir Putin’s rule, the Russian Federation has been cracking down on Western Globalist entities, banning them as ‘Undesirable Organizations’.
We are talking about George Soros’ Open Society Foundations; Human Rights Watch; Amnesty International; Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty; RAND Corporation – the list is much, much longer.
US educational institutions are also included in this list, such as Yale University; UC Berkeley; George Washington University; Brigham Young University; Bard College…
And today, news arose that Russia has also declared Stanford University to be ‘undesirable’ and banned it.
Stanford has been designated an “undesirable organization” in Russia
One of the world’s top universities — and the alma mater of Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev.
“The country’s Justice Ministry added the prestigious California institution to the register of organizations whose activities are considered undesirable, the Interfax news service reported on Friday. The move followed a decision by the Prosecutor-General’s Office, it said, without elaborating.
Russia has declared more than 200 foreign organizations including Yale University, Amnesty International and the British Council to be ‘undesirable’, as part of a broad crackdown on influence and ideas from outside the country since it began the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022.”
Stanford University has been designated an “undesirable organization” in Russia
The Russian Ministry of Justice added Stanford to the list of organizations whose activities are deemed undesirable in Russia.
“In July, Yale was declared ‘undesirable’, with the Prosecutor General’s Office saying the Connecticut institution’s activities were aimed at ‘violating the territorial integrity of Russia’.”
“Under Russian law, individuals affiliated with an ‘undesirable’ entity — including students — can face up to four years in prison, while organizers can be sentenced to up to six years.
Neither the Justice Ministry nor the Russian Prosecutor General’s Office provided explanations for the designations.
Also on Friday, the Justice Ministry added Stanford’s Center for Russian, East European and Eurasian Studies (CREEES) and the Crisis Simulation for Peace (CRISP), a German non-profit, to its list of ‘undesirable’ organizations.”
The independence movement has gained strong momentum
Will Alberta leave decadent Canada behind?
The process of forcing a referendum on oil-rich Alberta’s independence from woke Canada is going so well that the Canadian liberal establishment has started openly trying to derail the process.
It has arisen today that a Canadian judge has granted a month-long stay preventing Alberta’s chief electoral officer from certifying the results of a petition.

“Justice Shaina Leonard’s ruling on Friday afternoon also prevents Stay Free Alberta, the group behind the petition, from referring the matter to Justice Minister Mickey Amery once signatures are submitted.
The decision follows an application from two of three First Nations groups who say they believe the petition process threatens treaty rights. The Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation (ACFN) and the Blackfoot Confederacy have been seeking a stay on the petition campaign pending a final ruling.”
Alberta’s lawyers told an Edmonton court Thursday that collecting signatures for a separation referendum doesn’t violate treaty rights and no duty to consult has arisen yet.
“A stay functions similarly to an injunction and requires applicants to demonstrate a serious issue for review, irreparable harm and that the balance of convenience favors granting the order.
Leonard found the applicants met the low threshold of establishing arguable issues that are neither frivolous nor vexatious. These include whether the Crown breached its duty to consult and whether provisions of Alberta’s Citizen Initiative Act are unconstitutional.”
Right now the most important thing you can do for Alberta Independence is get out and sign the petition.

The Ugandan jungle has turned into a bloody battlefield in an ongoing ‘simian conflict’ detailed in a study published Thursday (9) in the journal Science.
“’Chimps from one group began attacking and killing those from the other group and that turned into an escalated period of lethal violence’, study author Aaron Sandel, an anthropologist at the University of Texas at Austin, told Livescience.
While the late great primatologist Jane Goodall had reported of a similar ‘fissure’ 50 years ago, this marked the first time that such an intratribal schism had been researched and documented as it occurred, the Times reported, although chimp communities often compete with neighbors over land and resources.”
‘CIVIL WAR’ IN UGANDA: Chimpanzees turn on each other
Rival factions in Kibale National Park launch coordinated attacks on former group members and scientists have NO IDEA WHY
“Two adult male members of the Ngogo chimpanzee group band together and chase away rivals. ‘What followed was a series of lethal attacks by the western group on members of the central group’, the researchers wrote. ‘These raids resulted in multiple killings of adult males and, beginning in 2021, expanded to frequent infanticide, averaging several deaths per year’.”
The 200 members of the ape clan were close, until the late 1980’s, when a rift caused various cliques to be formed.
“By 2015, the formerly cohesive community had split into two clans that lived and reproduced separately. […] It’s yet unclear what caused the schism. However, the researchers postulated that several adult males who acted as ambassadors between different factions died, leading to strained relations and a ‘change in the male dominance hierarchy’.”
Mojtaba is reportedly recovering from terrible wounds – Wiki Commons
The prolonged absence of Mojtaba leaves room for different rumors.
Ever since the start of the military confrontation between the US and Israel against Iran, a mystery surrounds the situation regarding the new Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.
In his absence, a flurry of rumors and reports is going around saying that he is dead, or else very gravely wounded; he is also said to be gay and disowned by his late father.
Today, a new report arises that Mojtaba is ‘recovering from severe facial and leg injuries’ that he suffered in the airstrike that killed his father, sources in his inner circle told Reuters.

“Khamenei’s face was disfigured in the attack on the supreme leader’s compound in central Tehran and he suffered a significant injury to one or both legs, all three sources said.
The 56-year-old is nonetheless recovering from his wounds and remains mentally sharp, according to the people, who requested anonymity to discuss sensitive matters. He is taking part in meetings with senior officials via audio conferencing and is engaged in decision-making on major issues including the war and negotiations with Washington, two of them said.”
Iranian Islamic propaganda channels are circulating an AI-generated video claiming to show Mojtaba Khamenei entering a command room and overseeing operations in what is presented as his first public appearance.
“The question of whether Khamenei’s health allows him to run state affairs comes during Iran’s moment of gravest peril for decades, with high-stakes peace talks with the United States opening in the Pakistani capital Islamabad on Saturday.
[…] Khamenei’s whereabouts, condition and ability to rule still largely remain a mystery to the public, with no photo, video or audio recording of him published since the air attack and his subsequent appointment as his father’s replacement on March 8.
[…] Mojtaba Khamenei’s wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law were among other members of his family killed in the strike.”
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Iran’s new leader Mojtaba Khamenei has been wounded as part of the US and Israeli campaign against the country.
Putin and Zelensky: may the Easter celebrations bring lasting peace
An Easter truce is ongoing in Ukraine.
While the world focuses on the peace talks between US and Iran in Pakistan, in Eastern Europe they also get a taste of a quick 32-hour truce between Russia and Ukraine during the celebrations of the Orthodox Easter.
Russia and Ukraine fired waves of drones at each other late Friday night and early Saturday morning, just hours before a temporary ceasefire between the two was set to take effect for Orthodox Easter, according to officials.https://t.co/FEp3J4B989
“Earlier, the Kremlin press service reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin had declared an Easter truce. Later, Vladimir Zelensky stated that Ukraine was prepared to mirror it.
Russian troops were given orders to cease military operations in all directions, but to be prepared to suppress enemy aggression.”
US-led negotiations had been derailed by the war in Iran
“The temporary ceasefire came as US-led talks on ending the four-year-old conflict have been derailed by the Middle East war.
[…] Several rounds of US-led talks have failed to bring the warring sides closer to an agreement and Washington’s attention is now focused on Iran.”

Budanov: former spy chief, now Zelensky’s top aide
Can peace finally be on the horizon?
While everyone is focused on the Middle East crisis, the War between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing, as brutal as ever.
But today, news arose that a well-placed source in Kiev’s regime has come forward to say that the two countries are moving towards a potential deal to end the conflict.
The top aide to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, and now Head of the Presidential Office, broke the surprising news.
Ukraine’s top negotiator with Russia said he sees progress toward a potential peace deal with the Kremlin.

“Kyrylo Budanov, a former head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, said that he saw progress towards a deal, but declined to say what a potential compromise on territory, a key stumbling block, would look like.
‘No final decision has been made yet’, he said, according to the report. ‘But, in principle, everyone now clearly understands the limits of what is acceptable. That’s enormous progress’.
‘They all understand the war needs to end. That’s why they are negotiating’, Budanov said in an interview with Bloomberg on April 4. ‘I don’t think it will be long’.”
Ukraine’s top negotiator and head of the presidential office, Kyrylo Budanov, has said that he has seen progress on a potential deal with Russia over the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian War. Budanov also says that he believes Russia also would like to see an end to the conflict.
Budanov earned a reputation as head of Ukraine’s military intelligence until Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky appointed him as chief of his presidential office.
He’s become a key figure in Ukraine’s negotiating team, with a leading role in overseeing prisoner exchanges with Russia.
“Budanov acknowledged that both sides have maintained ‘maximalist’ positions in the US-mediated negotiations so far, but said he believes they’ll move closer together in the search for a compromise.
Russia has a clear incentive to reach a deal, he said. ‘Unlike us, they are spending their own money’, Budanov said. ‘These are enormous sums — already in the trillions’.”
Budanov is doing better in the polls than Zelensky
“Budanov argued that a key achievement of the peace negotiations was keeping US President Donald Trump’s administration engaged as a mediator. He said Ukraine expects the top White House envoys at the talks, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, to lead a US delegation to Kiev, possibly next week, in what would be their first visit to Ukraine of the war.”
As the world watches in anticipation if the US-Iran ceasefire will hold, and if peace can be negotiated, it arises that a key official in Donald J. Trump’s cabinet will head the peace negotiations.
Vice President JD Vance left today (10) for Islamabad, Pakistan, towards the biggest challenge of his career.
Vance will attempt to negotiate a deal with Iran to put an end to the conflict over Tehran’s nuclear program and end the war.

“’This is a big deal for JD. He is going to the Super Bowl’, one U.S. official told Axios.
Vance will be joined by Trump’s envoys, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, as well as officials from the National Security Council and departments of State and Defense.

“’We are looking forward to the negotiation. I think it is going to be positive’, Vance said before departing Andrews Air Force Base. He said Trump gave the negotiating team ‘pretty clear guidelines’.

Artemis II’s historic journey to the moon orbit and back is set to conclude with a splashdown in the Pacific Ocean this Friday evening.
Splashdown is expected at around 8:07 p.m. ET at some 80 miles off the coast of San Diego.
This will crown the ten-day, 685,000-mile mission, the first crewed flight to the moon in 54 years.
Fist bump!
The Artemis II crew is now under 35,000 miles from Earth. The astronauts are preparing the spacecraft for reentry and the weather is looking good for splashdown. pic.twitter.com/jYNlo0xoNu
“Friday’s splashdown is unlikely to be as dazzling a sight here on Earth as the April 1 launch was — but the astronauts will have a show from within their capsule as they soar through the atmosphere at nearly 25,000 mph on a tail of fire and the capsule heats to upward of 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
NASA said they’ll feel 3.9 Gs on the way back to terra firma — and hit a maximum velocity of 23,864 mph.
Parachutes will then deploy to slow the capsule, until it hits the water at around 17 mph, and the crew is snatched up by a waiting recovery ship.”

“A Navy transport dock ship, the USS John P. Murtha, will be in position with a crew of divers and helicopters to make sure Artemis II’s brave astronauts — Cmdr. Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, and specialists Jeremy Hensen and Christina Koch — are recovered safely from the capsule.”
An escaped beast is eluding modern technology to roam free.
A Russian wolf that escaped from a South Korean zoo has been on the loose for three days, even though capture efforts include drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras.
The animal has captivated the public, causing a cryptocurrency meme coin to be created, and even deserving a message from the country’s president.
Russian wolf, Nyukku escaped from a zoo in South Korea
He dug a tunnel & vanished from O-World park in Daejeon. 400 people, along with drones, thermal cameras & search dogs have been deployed, but he hasn’t been caught yet
“South Korean authorities have deployed heat-seeking cameras and drones in a widening search for a runaway wolf that has been on the loose for three days after escaping from a zoo.”
On Wednesday (8), the two-year-old male, named Neukgu (or Nyukku), dug a tunnel under a fence and escaped from O-World zoo and theme park in the central city of Daejeon.
“More than 300 personnel – including firefighters, police officers and military troops – have been mobilized in the hunt for the animal, Daejeon Fire Headquarters said.
Addressing the incident on Thursday, President Lee Jae Myung said in a post on X: ‘I hope no human casualties occur and I pray that Neukgu also returns home safely’.”
Escaped Russian wolf was brought to South Korean Daejeon Zoo from Saratov region
“A nearby elementary school was closed as a precaution. […] The incident in Daejeon, about 170 kilometers (105.63 miles) south of the capital Seoul, has caught the imagination of the public and online communities.
A meme coin named ‘Neukgu’ has appeared on decentralized cryptocurrency exchanges, including PumpSwap, with a trading volume of about $140,000 in the last 24 hours as of Friday.”
“According to a record made public on Friday, Sentebale lodged a defamation claim last month at the High Court against Harry and one of his close friends Mark Dyer, who was also a trustee of the charity.
There were no details as to what the lawsuit involved. Neither Harry’s spokesperson nor the charity immediately responded to a request for comment.”
UK’s Charity Commission investigated Sentebale
Chandauka reported Harry and the trustees to Britain’s charity regulator ‘for alleged bullying and harassment’.
“After a review, the Charity Commission reported it had found no evidence of bullying, but said there had been weak governance and criticized all parties for allowing an internal dispute to become public.”
Failing Starmer was overwhelmingly spurned by British citizens
From a landslide victory to an absolute rejection by voters.
Failing British Prime Minister Keir Starmer remains one of the western world’s least popular ‘leaders’, despite his efforts to paint himself as a relevant and world-respected head of state.
And his poll numbers continue to sink, as we learn today that almost two-thirds of Brits want Starmer to resign immediately.
If that was not enough, a similar percentage of voters also want a general election now, according to a new poll.
“Fewer than one in five think the Prime Minister should stay on, while almost half of those who voted Labour at the 2024 general election want him to go.
Sir Keir is likely to come under increased pressure to step down if Labour fares badly in next month’s local elections, and there is a growing belief within the party that it cannot win the next general election with him as leader.”
Keir Starmer has been ridiculed by just about everyone today.
He looks weak, out of depth, irrelevant, clueless and most importantly, finished.
How much longer will his own MPs tolerate their awful polling, the humiliation at home and on the world stage?
The poll by JL Partners shows a majority of voters, in every region and age group, wanting the Prime Minister to be replaced.
“Asked ‘should Keir Starmer stay or go?’, 64 per cent of people said he should go and 18 per cent said he should stay. Of those who voted Labour in 2024, 46 per cent said they wanted him to go now.
[…] While Labour has attempted to rebrand the Prime Minister as a world statesman at a time of global conflict in an attempt to stem a wipe-out at the polls on May 7, the results are set to be brutal.”
NIGEL FARAGE: Starmer is our worst ever PM who believes in nothing except saving his own skin. That’s why you must vote to get him out https://t.co/J9oAqUnR7s
