Because I give out my personal email on my two national TV shows, nationally-syndicated radio show, and national podcast, I get thousands of emails from patriots across this country. My finger is on the pulse of what average everyday Americans think like no one else in the conservative media.

I also understand something about the American people that few politicians or media ever will…

Just because someone isn’t a billionaire, or famous, or have a degree from Harvard, doesn’t mean you shouldn’t listen to them. To the contrary, I find the average everyday Americans who write to me are actually smarter than the politicians, CEOs and big shot lawyers I know. They certainly have more common sense.

The #1 thing almost every one of these average, everyday Americans says in their emails to me is…

“Where are the arrests? Why isn’t President Trump arresting dirty, corrupt Democrats? Why are Democrat lawbreakers never charged with obvious, irrefutable violations of the law?”

Exactly. I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Then earlier this week I had a top official from the DOJ as a guest on my national podcast- “WAR Zone Live”- the official podcast of The Gateway Pundit.

I had the honor of interviewing Asst. Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon of the Trump DOJ.

I was very respectful to the Assistant AG when I brought up LA Mayor Karen Bass. It was not a pre-planned question. It was off-the-cuff remark- simply because I had just read the shocking story minutes before my show started.

I said to AG Harmeet Dhillon, “Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has publicly announced that she is heading an obstruction campaign against ICE, and will not follow federal law when it comes to cooperating and turning over illegal aliens. Why don’t we indict and arrest her for treason, or insurrection, or aiding and abetting foreign criminals illegally on American soil? She is actively promoting insurrection against the US federal government.”

I could see the Assistant AG tense up right away. The answer I received from the Assistant AG Dhillon almost knocked me off my feet, as she defended the LA mayor, calling Bass’s remarks “protected free speech”.

NO, THEY ARE NOT!

Free speech is when a mayor says, “I don’t like that law. Let’s elect new leaders and change it.” That’s free speech.

But as an elected public official, if you refuse to comply with the laws of the US federal government, and you protect and harbor criminals who have broken the law- that’s insurrection and treason.

LA’s Mayor is saying publicly that federal law doesn’t matter in California. If you don’t agree with the law, you can just ignore it. And you can obstruct the ICE agents trying to enforce the laws. That’s dereliction of duty. That’s aiding and abetting criminals. That’s inciting anarchy.

I have a question for Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom. Thank God I don’t live in California. But if I did, and I didn’t like your state tax laws, and I refused to pay California income taxes, would that be okay? Or would you indict and arrest me, and send me to prison for ten years? But why? I don’t like your laws, why can’t I ignore them just like illegal aliens?

What’s the difference?

If any elected official refuses to comply with federal law, and encourages others to not comply with the law, they are, by definition- a criminal committing insurrection against this country. They are a modern-day Benedict Arnold.

January 6th was a peaceful protest against a stolen election turned into entrapment by the crooked FBI. But Mayor Karen Bass is conducting a real coup. This is a real insurrection. This is a communist color revolution and attempted overthrow of the U.S. government- under the command of Mayor Karen Bass.

And dozens of other radical Democrat Mayors across this country.

Mayor Bass is directing radicals to not comply with U.S. law. She is inciting them to riot against ICE, commit violence against ICE officers, and chase federal officers out of Los Angeles.

Any public official who ignores the law, breaks the law, or incites others to do so, should be immediately arrested.

It’s time to set an example, or this will never end.

I never back down, so I pushed Dhillon, again, for an answer as to why the LA Mayor could not be charged for her criminal actions. This time her answer wasn’t about protected speech. She had a new excuse. It was worse than the first one.

The Assistant AG of the Trump DOJ claimed that federal crimes in California cannot be prosecuted because quote “In a blue state like California, we wouldn’t win in court anyway.”

Our DOJ no longer prosecutes cases in blue cities and states because we can’t win?

Once again, here’s an example of how ludicrous this is. What if I refuse to pay federal income taxes because I don’t agree with tax laws. I live in a red state. If a Democrat was president, would his DOJ refuse to prosecute me for my crimes because I live in a red state, and therefore it’s tough to get a conviction?

This is why we are losing America.

Because Democrats fight, and stick together, and are willing to do anything to win- weaponizing government, spying on Trump, persecuting Trump, rigging juries and judges against Trump, using the IRS to destroy the lives of political opponents- and Republicans are weak, feckless cowards who find excuses to always compromise, settle, back down, avoid battle, or wave the white flag of defeat.

I love President Trump. I trust President Trump. I will always be loyal to President Trump. I will always fight for President Trump. But he is being blocked and backstabbed at every turn by not just Democrat traitors, insurrectionist politicians and judges, and the Deep State, but also by his own GOP Senators, and his own government officials.

Until President Trump’s DOJ grows some balls and charges Democrat officials who obstruct justice with insurrection, it will never stop.

It’s sadly a free pass for Democrats to conduct violence, burn down cities, refuse to comply with federal law, and do whatever the hell they want in blue cities and states, with no fear of accountability and retribution.

Now you understand the obstacles we face. No one is fighting for us. Even President Trump’s top officials make excuses for Democrats who break the law.

As of right now, President Trump’s DOJ is not the Department of Justice, it’s the DOE- “Department of Excuses.”

The American people want justice. If we can’t get it with the greatest President of my lifetime, then it sure appears we will never get it.

First, let’s all celebrate. Tina Peters is free. She walked out of prison in Colorado on Monday morning. Remember my credo- “The glass is always half full.” Let’s think positive- always appreciate and celebrate when something good happens.

Tina is finally free. So, it’s a good day!

But also, let’s not be naïve. Let’s all understand who took away her freedom in the first place.

Jared Polis, the ultra-left, gay, Democrat Governor of Colorado is no hero- far from it. He’s just another lousy liberal loser, who is now desperately trying to cover up his role in this terrible case of Soviet-style injustice, and desperately trying to re-write history to cover his own ass. #TRUTH.

Governor Polis is doing “victory lap” interviews- portraying himself as a humanitarian who came to the rescue of Tina Peters. He’s positioning himself for a supposed 2028 presidential run. He’s trying to come off as the compassionate “good guy” who rose above partisan differences, to free a 71-year- old Gold Star mom- who he positions as “a crackpot conspiracy theorist.”

Let’s examine the truth.

Governors are responsible for, and oversee state cases within that Governor’s state borders. That’s why Governors have the authority to pardon STATE CHARGES, which was exactly the type of (bogus) charge leveled against Tina Peters.

When Judge Matthew Barrett denied motion after motion for Tina Peters to show her evidence during the trial, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

When Tina Peters took the proof of the 29,000 deleted ballots directly to the County commissioners, who refused to even look at it, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

When Tina Peters was beaten by young female gang members at the La Vista, Colorado prison, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

When Tina Peters had eight requests denied to move to “the safe wing” of the prison reserved for non-gang, non-violent inmates who posed no threat, she was denied all 8 times, despite having no disciplinary issues, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

When 71-year-old Tina Peters was accused of assaulting a 29-year-old inmate, when the evidence showed it was Tina Peters defending herself from a violent attacker, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

When Tina Peters bail was denied, and she was sentenced to nine long years in prison as a Gold Star mom, 70-years old, without even a traffic ticket in her entire life, and convicted of a NON-VIOLENT CRIME- not to mention elected by the people of Mesa County, Colorado to represent them as they’re trusted County Clerk, and was convicted for doing her job, WHERE WAS “COMPASSIONATE AND FAIR” GOVERNOR JARED POLIS?

Now we see the Colorado Governor taking victory laps like a “compassionate humanitarian” who cares about Tina Peters. Well, that’s what he wants us to believe, since he cut her sentence from 9 years to 4.5 years.

But this was nothing more than political theater.

Governor Polis could have pardoned Tina Peters with one stroke of the pen at any time during this made-for-TV-movie nightmare Democrat witch hunt. But the governor did not.

The governor also had the legal option to commute Tina Peters sentence as “time served.” But once again, he did not do that either.

Instead, he kept her charges intact and turned it over to the parole department, leaving the door open for Tina’s parole officer- at any time in the future- to accuse her of sneezing at the wrong time, and then putting her right back in jail- where they really want her, so she can’t expose the 2020 Colorado election fraud.

The Colorado governor took the position with the least risk and courage necessary. He took the most half-hearted measures possible. He merely cut her sentence down, after sitting on his hands watching Tina get raked over the coals in court, and tortured in prison, for two years.

Don’t be fooled, Governor Polis did not do any of this out of the goodness of his heart. President Trump had already pulled Space Force Command out of Colorado- costing 14,000 jobs and big revenues lost by the state of Colorado.

Then Donald Trump pulled all the federal money possible away from Colorado, except the money required to be given to them by law. This combination of actions by President Trump was starting to squeeze the Colorado economy in noticeable ways, including the deterioration of roads and bridges, and social programs.

Then it became public knowledge that one of Governor Polis’ long-time close friends had a very similar charge as Tina Peters, and the Governor’s friend received probation- never serving a day in prison.

Then the Colorado governor was made aware that a defendant that was arrested with 26 pounds of fentanyl also received PROBATION- from DA Dan Rubenstein- the same prosecutor that demanded nine years for Tina Peters for the crime of exposing election fraud and corruption (ie doing her job).

The final straw for Governor Polis may very well have come when I wrote a commentary at the high profile TheGatewayPundit.com (the 5th most read conservative news site in America)- urging President Trump to send the military, or Special Forces, or Marshals SWAT teams to the Colorado prison to remove Tina Peters. Within days of my TV commentary and my GatewayPundit commentary, the Governor suddenly granted Tina her freedom.

CNN and Yahoo articles quoted my column advising President Trump to send in special forces to get Tina Peters, confirmed it was posted at Tina Peters’ web site, and that Governor Polis had read my column before making his decision.

It was only at this point , and after Tina’s plight was finally capturing public attention, that the governor even lifted a finger for the injustice waged against Tina Peters.

Governor Jared Polis is no hero. The actions he’s taken, which are perceived as “helping Tina Peters,” are nothing more than a smoke screen.

The governor only took these actions because his reputation was starting to falter, the truth was coming out, Colorado’s economy was in decline, constituents were asking questions, and he was nervous what President Trump might do next.

Governor Polis’ PR hacks portraying him as “coming to the compassionate rescue of Tina” has no relation to the truth.

It is rumored Governor Polis wants to run for president in 2028. His actions had nothing to do with saving Tina Peters. He was saving himself, and saving his reputation, and saving the Colorado economy, and preserving his presidential ambitions.

Instead of taking a victory lap Governor, I recommend a much shorter walk up to the mirror, where you should ask yourself face-to-face, “How could I have ever allowed a non-violent, 70-year-old Gold Star mom, with no prior record (not even parking tickets), to be sent to prison for nine years, alongside gangbangers and violent felons, for asking questions about voting irregularities, while fentanyl dealers get probation?”

Just be careful Governor, the mirror may shatter.

I was the first and only conservative TV host and media personality to suggest this idea many weeks ago- including right here at The Gateway Pundit in a half dozen columns.

Now, finally, a few other influential conservative media stars are talking about this idea. Great! Soon, I hope to have the entire conservative and MAGA world talking about this idea.

And of course, the only conservative who matters, President Donald J. Trump, needs to officially adopt this idea.

President Trump lives by the philosophy of “Repetition is the key to success.” People need to hear something a dozen times before it sinks into their conscience. So, here we go again!

The SAVE America Act was first brought to the House floor on January 3rd, 2026. Republicans were gleaming and excited, because the SAVE Act would finally put a stop to Democrats rigging our elections, and end the travesty and tragedy of millions of illegal aliens voting in U.S. elections.

By the way, set aside Venezuela, or Serbia, or Iran, or China. The ultimate example of “foreign interference in US elections” is Democrats using the votes of millions of illegal aliens to rig and steal elections. And not just the presidency, but dozens of US Senate and US House seats too.

It turns out Democrats are living on stolen land in DC.

The majority of Republican and MAGA voters adopted The SAVE Act as a gospel, as the ultimate savior, as a “Godsend,” and were even more giddy when it passed the House.

President Trump had his own plan to stop the rigged elections, but was told that it wasn’t needed because the SAVE Act was sure to pass both chambers of Congress.

The SAVE Act was first brought to the Senate floor on March 17th, 2026, where it received hurricane-force headwinds.

Not a surprise if you’re a Democrat, but The SAVE Act was betrayed by a RINO Senate majority leader, and several bought-off-and-paid-off Republican RINO Senators, who sold out America and MAGA, and who will continue to sell out this country while collecting millions of dollars in bribes from China, the CCP, the Mexican Drug Cartels, and George Soros-type Super PACS.

Timing also destroyed the SAVE Act, because Republican leaders in Congress waited too late to start the process, not factoring in the months it would take to wind through legal challenges by Democrats, and rulings by the appeals courts, before finally making it to the Supreme Court.

Now there is no time for that to happen, and the Democrats are very satisfied with just running out the clock, with barely over 150 days until the election.

I support the SAVE America Act, and have supported it since it was first brought to the House for debate in January. I pushed and pushed for it to pass on all of my TV, radio, podcast, and online platforms, until I was blue in the face. Just like many of my Republican and conservative colleagues, we all really wanted it to succeed.

We all understood the raw truth: Democrats cannot win elections without massive cheating.

As I sit and think about the SAVE Act as of today, I have to be honest with myself- it will not pass, and if by miracle it did pass, it would not be in time to save the midterms this November. That’s a FACT.

I’m hoping that the SAVE Act will pass at some point in the future, as it can be a very valuable bill in the 2028 election and the 2030 census count, where the Democrats are going to push hard to count illegal aliens as American citizens. This is the difference between perhaps 20 to 30 U.S. House seats and 20+ electoral votes, too.

The more I sat and thought about options to save the midterms, I kept thinking of the damage that will be done to President Trump, and this country, and the US economy, and the great American middle class, if Democrats are allowed to cheat their way into power in November.

So, understanding what a true life-and-death national emergency this is, I developed a plan; worked on it with an election integrity expert (my friend John Goodman); announced it on my TV, radio, and podcast platforms; published it on The Gateway Pundit; and then sent it to President Trump and his team, once I knew that it was 100% legal and foolproof, and would save our midterm elections without Democrat obstruction.

This idea stops the Democrat lawyers and communist-bribed and owned insurrection judges dead in their tracks.

For the last 7 weeks, I’ve been screaming from the highest rooftops for a “Presidential National Security Emergency for Elections.”

The SAVE Act on steroids- TRUMP STYLE!

I recently interviewed Dr. Jerome Corsi- one of the main players tasked by President Trump to find the legal way to end corrupt, rigged elections in this country. According to Dr. Corsi, it appears that my call for a “Presidential National Security Emergency” has been heard loud and clear by President Trump and his legal team.

President Trump has the legal authority to declare a “Presidential National Security Emergency for Elections” based on millions of illegal aliens continuing to vote in U.S. elections.

The Democrat lawyers and radical communist insurrection judges cannot stop the President from fixing our elections once and for all if he declares this “national emergency.” That’s the “special power” that makes this idea so powerful.

This “emergency declaration” is 10,000 times more powerful than The SAVE Act.

The Supreme Court has already ruled on this exact situation. Back in 1983, they ruled that the only way for Democrats to overturn a “National Emergency” declaration by a President was by a 2/3rds majority vote in both chambers of Congress. Good luck. It won’t happen. Impossible. Zero chance.

This proposed “Presidential National Security Emergency for Elections” would address everything that was in The SAVE Act, but even stronger!

It has strict mandates on voter ID, voter registration, proof of citizenship, and takes millions of illegal aliens out of play from voting in our elections. It also ends the voting machine scam and mandates hand-counted paper ballots, an important piece of this puzzle that was not even included in The SAVE Act.

Here is the mistake of the year- it appears a majority of our own Republican and conservative politicians and media stars continue to publicly lobby for The SAVE Act. Which is delusional. The SAVE Act is DOA- Dead on Arrival. Anyone who understands math should understand that. We never had the votes, and we don’t have them now.

And with President Trump successfully ending the careers of backstabbing RINO U.S. Senators Cassidy and Coryn, it’s now doubly true. The Senate RINOS are on a bender. They still sit in their seats until January. They will never allow Trump to pass anything until their time is up. They’d rather see America destroyed than help President Trump.

I urge all Republicans and MAGA and patriotic independents to get behind President Trump signing a “Presidential National Security Emergency for Elections” declaration- which we know is the only way to secure our elections for this November’s midterms.

It’s the only way to take the Democrat lawyers and radical communist insurrection judges out of the picture, from stopping us from finally making US elections honest and fair again.

We are now hearing that this is the path President Trump is likely to take, as we get closer to the election. As my Yiddish grandmother used to say, “From your lips to God’s ears.”

I’m known as the “Biggest MAGA mouth in America.” I have a MAGA megaphone. As of this coming Monday June 1st, I add a nightly national TV show called “America Speaks with Wayne Allyn Root”- weeknights at 10 PM ET/7 PM Pacific on Real Americas Voice TV.

That’s just another national platform to promote this idea that can save the midterms. I will use every tool in my arsenal to continue to push this “Presidential National Security Emergency for Elections.”
