Everything about California Governor Gavin Newsom is fake. Even the numbers on his book sales.
His new book is being touted by his allies as a best seller, but the main reason it’s selling so well is because his own political action committee has spent upwards of $1.5 million buying thousands of copies of it.
That’s one way to get on the New York Times best seller list. It’s not honest, but it’ll probably work.
Not a single thing about this man is genuine.
FOX News reports:
Newsom PAC bought thousands of memoir copies about his hardships, juicing sales
Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s political action committee spent more than $1.5 million buying thousands of copies of his new memoir — accounting for about two-thirds of all copies sold nationwide — according to campaign finance filings.
The PAC spending helped propel Newsom’s memoir, “Young Man in a Hurry,” onto the New York Times bestseller list and is raising new scrutiny as his national profile builds ahead of a possible 2028 presidential run.
In November, the Campaign for Democracy Committee launched a book campaign asking donors to contribute any amount to the PAC to receive the memoir when it was released on Feb. 24. Newsom spokesperson Nathan Click told the New York Times that the PAC bought about 67,000 copies—representing a substantial portion of the 97,400 total sold.
“We were thrilled with the response,” Click told the New York Times. “Our goal was to deepen the relationship between him and the millions of folks who have already expressed support for Governor Newsom’s work.”
The PAC made two payments totaling over $1.5 million to Porchlight Book Company, according to a FEC filing posted on Wednesday and reviewed by Fox News Digital.
Newsom probably sees nothing wrong with this. He is a member of the same party that busses in paid supporters for rallies and [rotests, after all.
Will Democrats really nominate this faker in 2028?

Obama’s hideous new presidential library is set to open in June and unsurprisingly, it’s not going to be cheap. What is surprising, is how much the tickets will actually cost to get in the door.
In addition to having to show an ID, tickets are a whopping $30 for adults. Thirty dollars per ticket!
Does that come with a meal or a few drinks?
We’ve heard that they’re paying some hefty salaries at the library but $30 per ticket seems a bit ridiculous.
The Wall Street Journal reports:
The Obama Presidential Center is finally here. Prepare to pay up.
Barack Obama’s new presidential center isn’t a cheap date, and neither is his adopted hometown.
When it opens June 19, it will set at least three modern-era records for a former White House occupant: time taken to be completed, project cost and the price to get inside.
At $30, adult admission to see the 44th president’s story is more than at any other U.S. presidential library, a Wall Street Journal review shows. That is 59% higher than the average for presidents from John F. Kennedy through George W. Bush.
The top admission for the Obama Presidential Center is in keeping with the record expense of the project in a city known for complex and costly urban development, steep taxes and premium cultural attractions.
Despite the price, Chicago is certain to become a Democratic mecca for those eager to reconnect with their party’s most popular living former president. The center is expected to attract approximately 700,000 visitors annually and be an economic engine for the city, while also potentially helping transform the surrounding lower-income neighborhood.
The crowds and fundraising success (the Obama Foundation has disclosed donors of $1,001 or more) contrast with the struggles of the next Democratic president after Obama.
John Nolte of Breitbart News has a theory about this:
My guess is that after the initial excitement, that $30 price tag combined with all the cost and hassle involved in driving and parking in Chicago will slow traffic considerably. That leaves an awfully expensive infrastructure to maintain. But, not to belabor the point, we are talking about Democrats here, so I’m sure there is some scheme planned where the presidential library becomes a “Learing Center” or a phony hospice that bilks we the taxpayers out of billions.
They’ll have to keep the grift going somehow, right?

Eric Swalwell has really done it now. Even Rosie O’Donnell has lost faith in him.
The far left former comedian recently posted a video to social media in which she compares Swalwell to Bill Clinton and then says that he broke her heart.
The good news for Sawlwell is that this is the least of his problems at this point. He should probably be more worried about trying to stay out of prison.
Breitbart News has details:
Rosie O’Donnell ‘Heartbroken’ over Eric Swalwell Scandal, Compares Disgraced Democrat to Bill Clinton: ‘Men Suck’
Rosie O’Donnell says she is “heartbroken” over former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA)’s sexual assault allegations, declaring “men suck” after comparing the disgraced Democrat’s scandal to former President Bill Clinton.
“Can we talk a little bit about Eric Swalwell?” O’Donnell said in a Monday TikTok video. “I know that guy, in the ‘What kind of way?’ Like, spoke to him on the phone a couple times, donated money to him, I believe.”
“Talked about him in some public appearances years ago, about how I believed in him, and his cute little family and two kids, and standing up to all those people when he berates them for their moralist behavior,” the comedian continued.
“And then all this comes out about him, and it’s heartbreaking to me,” she added. “And I wrote him. I wrote him a little message, and I said, ‘You know, Bill Clinton broke my heart, and now you did, too.’ You know the conclusion I’ve come to? Men suck.”

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is currently embroiled in some sort of feud with the city council over a raise for tipped workers and it’s not going the way he wants so he is lashing out.
This week, while he was remarking on the situation, he suddenly veered into the topic of reparations and then claimed that the restaurant industry has ties to slavery.
How was this man elected mayor of a major city? It really seems like there’s something wrong with him.
FOX News reports:
Chicago mayor links restaurant industry to ‘slavery’ as tipped wage fight intensifies
Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson linked the restaurant industry to “slavery” Wednesday as he defended his push to eliminate the tipped wage, doubling down after surviving a City Council effort to block the policy.
Johnson’s remarks came after the Chicago City Council failed to override his veto of a measure that would have halted the city’s phaseout of the subminimum wage for tipped workers — a policy set to raise base pay to the full minimum wage by 2028 that is opposed by restaurant owners who warn it could drive up prices and cut jobs.
He called on Chicagoans to “challenge city council not to do stuff like take wages away from Black and Brown people,” saying that most workers in the service industry who rely on tips are minorities.
“You just watched the entire city council, in transparency, try to take wages away from the very people who are part of an industry that has its ties to slavery is hiding from that,” Johnson said. “I am boldly declaring that we need reparations in this city, and that’s why I’m funding it.”
What is he even talking about?
Here’s the video:

Former first lady Jill Biden attempted to pay her way onto HBO’s controversial show about gay hockey players, bidding $35,000 for a walk-on role in and dinner with the cast.
The entertainment publication Variety cited sources on Thursday who said she was outbid for the perk package on “Heated Rivalry,” which ultimately went to two bidders at $125,000 each.
After Variety posted an item about Biden’s bid on the social media site X, she responded with a post of her own.
“Guess I won’t be heading to the cottage after all—but it was worth a shot!” she wrote, referring to a location that’s played a pivotal role in the series. “What a wonderful evening supporting @LGBTCenterNYC.”

The live auction was held at the NYC LGBT Community Center.
The first season of the show saw Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams play National Hockey League rivals who later form a romantic relationship.
Season two of “Heated Rivalry,” adapted author Rachel Reid’s series “Game Changers,” is expected to premiere on HBO Max in April 2027.
Show creator Jacob Tierney, and his producing partner Brendan Brady, were honored at the live auction, with the center’s CEO Carla Smith hailing them as visionaries.
They have “elevated and centered queer characters as fully realized leads whose desires, conflicts and tenderness are treated with dignity,” she said before the event, according to Variety.
“By championing our voices, they have brought queer joy and storytelling to the mainstream media and have created work that affirms and advances our community,” Smith added.
Biden’s bid was curious, however, given reports from last year that stated her husband — former President Joe Biden — was struggling to make money off his presidency.
“Biden, 82 years old, is charting a postpresidency that is less lucrative than what he’d expected when he left office,” The Wall Street Journal reported last year.
“Options for big jobs are limited by his advanced age, his unpopularity in Democratic circles and companies — concerned about retribution from President Trump —that aren’t offering speaking gigs.”
“The result for Biden,” the report continued, “is a leaner next chapter that lacks the well-funded foundations, plans for exquisite libraries and full calendar of paid speeches his peers enjoyed.”
The Wall Street Journal also wrote that Joe Biden has also had trouble getting groups and political organizations to meet his speaking fee demands, which range from $300,000 to $500,000.

Conservative Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas are not planning to retire this year amid speculation that Trump could appoint at least one more justice to the high court.
Fox News reported that Alito, a George W. Bush nominee, is not expected to step down from the bench.
CBS News later reported that Clarence Thomas is not planning on retiring this year either.
President Trump’s interview with Maria Bartiromo sparked chatter about the justices.
Trump told Bartiromo that he is prepared to name replacements.
“It could be two, could be three, could be one. I don’t know — I’m prepared to do it, but when you mention Alito, he is a great justice,” Trump told Maria Bartiromo this week.

Fox News reported:
Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is not expected to step down this term and has already hired all four law clerks for the upcoming annual term despite speculation the high court justice was weighing retirement, multiple sources said.
Alito “is not stepping down this term and is in the process of hiring the rest of his clerks for the next term,” a source told Fox News Digital. Two other sources told Fox News that Alito is not retiring this term, which lasts until the Supreme Court’s new year kicks off in October.
Justices tend to hire their clerks two to three years in advance, although that process is not necessarily indicative of a justice’s retirement plans.
The revelation that Alito is reportedly not planning to step down comes after President Donald Trump told Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo he is “prepared” to appoint up to three Supreme Court justices if vacancies arise. Trump added he has a shortlist of nominees in mind, though he did not mention any names.

President Donald Trump said on Friday that Iran has “agreed to everything” and will work with the United States to remove its enriched uranium.
The president told CBS News in a phone interview that the removal operation will not involve U.S. troops on the ground.
“No. No troops,” he said. “We’ll go down and get it with them, and then we’ll take it. We’ll be getting it together because by that time, we’ll have an agreement and there’s no need for fighting when there’s an agreement. Nice right? That’s better. We would have done it the other way if we had to.”
The other way would have involved troops going in and seizing the material.
“Our people, together with the Iranians, are going to work together to go get it. And then we’ll take it to the United States,” he said of the enriched uranium.

Axios had previously reported that several proposals were in discussion, with one being the possibility of the uranium being moved to a third-party country.
Iran had sought an agreement allowing them to “down-blend” their enriched uranium.
“A top priority for the Trump administration is ensuring Iran can’t access the stockpile of nearly 2,000kg of enriched uranium buried in its underground nuclear facilities, in particular the 450kg enriched to 60% purity,” Axios explained.

Most commercial nuclear power plants use 3 to 5 percent enriched uranium, and 90 percent is often the threshold associated with nuclear weapons, according to the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation.
Before the outbreak of the war, U.S. special envoy Steve Witkoff told Fox News that in March, Iranian negotiators boasted to him that they had enough enriched uranium to build 11 nuclear weapons.
The Iranian negotiators apparently said “they had the inalienable right to enrich all their nuclear fuel that they possessed,” Witkoff said.
“We, of course, responded that the president feels we have the inalienable right to stop you dead in your tracks,” he added.
“In that first meeting, both the Iranian negotiators said to us, directly, with no shame, that they controlled 460 kilograms of 60 percent, and they’re aware that that could make 11 nuclear bombs, and that was the beginning of their negotiating stance,” Witkoff recounted.
He explained that 60 percent enriched uranium can be brought to weapons grade in roughly one week in a nuclear facility.
Witkoff noted, “They were proud that they had evaded all sorts of oversight protocols to get to a place where they could deliver 11 nuclear bombs.”
The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday that the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz initiated on Monday was costing Iran up to $435 million a day, including $276 million in lost exports.
The blockade, coupled with weeks of air strikes from the U.S. and Israel, which devastated Iran’s steel and petrochemical facilities, has the country’s economy on the brink of collapse.
