Nowak was stabbed multiple times by Vickrum Digwa, a 23 year old Sikh man, who completely fabricated claims of racism. As Henry lay bleeding to death, body camera footage shows police handcuffing him while Digwa and his family insisted Henry was the aggressor.

UK police bodycam footage shows 18-year-old Henry Nowak pleading with officers after he was stabbed by a Sikh man named Vickrum Digwa.
Nowak, an accounting and finance student, was walking home from a night out in Southampton on December 3, 2025, when Digwa, 23, stabbed the teen 5 times with an 8-inch knife.
Digwa stabbed Nowak in the face, legs and chest.
Nowak tried to flee but he was bleeding profusely. When police arrived, Digwa told police that Nowak was a racist and knocked off his head wrap.
“We’ve just been attacked by someone racially, this [REDACTED]… we’ve been attacked racially by some white person,” Digwa’s brother told police in a 911 call.
Nowak told police that he had been stabbed, but police handcuffed him and dragged him away while he was bleeding out and dying.
“I can’t breathe!” “I’m dying!” the 18-year-old shouted as British police dragged him.
The police did not believe Nowak until it was too late.
“I don’t think you have, mate,” the officer told Nowak.
Moments later, Nowak is seen lying on the ground, lifeless.

Trump is taking his pro-American agriculture on the road ahead of the midterms.
WCCO’s sister station in Milwaukee, WDJT, spoke with farmers and residents ahead of the president’s visit in Chippewa County, where he locked down more than 60% of the vote in 2024. Most said they support him and his policies, but many said they want to hear his “plans to help the little guy.”
“I have faith in it, you know what I mean?” said Chippewa Falls resident Peggy Peters. “I haven’t seen a whole lot recently, but I think it is going to happen, if that makes any sense. You know, something that is a work in progress, obviously. You know, he has a lot to do.”
“Under my leadership, we are making landmark investments to empower farmers to Make America Healthy Again by improving soil health, enhancing water quality, and strengthening our food and fiber supply — all while boosting long-term efficiency. Yesterday (4), Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky released an open letter to Russian President Vladimir Putin, proposing a meeting between the two leaders to negotiate an end to the war.

“Putin publicly responded to a recent letter from Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, in which Zelensky insulted Putin, threatened Russia with more drone strikes, and then invited Putin to so-called peace talks. Putin picked the letter apart, questioning Zelensky’s insistence that the EU – and not the US – should provide Ukraine with security guarantees, and pressing the Ukrainian leader on his refusal to hold elections and “usurpation” of power since his term expired in 2024.
Russia is always ready for serious negotiations, he declared, adding that he would not meet Zelensky “just for the sake of meeting.” Putin noted that the last time Russia entered negotiations with Ukraine and its European backers in good faith, the resulting Minsk agreements “were about one thing: that is saving more time for the rearmament of Ukraine. Why would we need anything like this once again?”
Putin revealed for the first time that an unnamed businessman called him last month and said that he had been invited to Kiev to meet with Zelensky’s officials. Hopkinton Public Schools in Massachusetts has a policy that carves out a specific religious exception to its strict no-weapons rule, allowing initiated Sikh students to carry a ceremonial knife known as a kirpan on school grounds, while prohibiting knives, guns, replicas, and other weapons for every other student.
The policy, formally created in 2024, makes Hopkinton the first school district in the state to explicitly accommodate the kirpan for Sikh students.
These policies have received new scrutiny following the sentencing of Vickrum Digwa, a 23-year-old Sikh man convicted of murdering 18-year-old British university student Henry Nowak in Southampton, England, on December 3.

Under the district’s general weapons policy, possession of any “dangerous weapon” is banned on school premises, at school-sponsored events, or on school transport. This includes guns, knives, pocket knives, slingshots, brass knuckles, explosives, ammunition, and even replicas or toys that resemble weapons.
Violations can lead to suspension, expulsion, police referral, and possible exclusion by the School Committee.
However, the policy includes a dedicated section titled “Considerations for Recognized Religious Artifacts Resembling Weapons.”
It directs that sacred religious articles must be approved annually before the start of each school year or before the student begins carrying the item. The district evaluates exceptions based on school safety and reserves the right to suspend permission during specific events.

The man who stabbed Henry to death had special protections to carry a knife because he’s Sikh.
Under the Kirpan Wear on Campus agreement, the student must have a “deeply held religious belief” and have completed the Amrit Pahul initiation ceremony, maintain a record of “appropriate school behavior,” and the blade must be dull, no longer than 3.0 inches, sheathed and secured, and worn under clothing at all times so it is not visible.
Superintendent Carol Cavanaugh said during a 2024 School Committee meeting that some Sikh students already wore the kirpan under their clothing as a “required article of faith.”
“We wanted to ensure that this was also reflected in our policy…there are students who carry kirpans; it is their religious right to do so,” she said, according to a report from Hop News at the time.
The Sikh American Legal Defense and Education Fund (SALDEF) praised the district for becoming the first in Massachusetts to accommodate the practice, calling it a “significant step forward in recognizing religious rights.”
Multiple American school districts have implemented formal policies, court-ordered accommodations, or case-by-case agreements allowing initiated Sikh students to carry kirpans on campus, while having general weapons bans for everyone else.
Livingston Union School District in California began allowing students to carry the blades in the 1990s after three Sikh siblings were initially barred from wearing kirpans under the district’s no-knives rule.
After a federal lawsuit (Cheema v. Thompson), the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled the district must make “all reasonable efforts” to accommodate the religious practice.
The case settled, with the children allowed to wear kirpans sewn into their sheaths so they could not be drawn.
California’s Yuba City Unified, Live Oak School District, Jurupa Unified School District, and Central Unified School District also have exceptions for these weapons.
Other districts include Michigan’s Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, New York’s Greenburgh Central School District, and National Heritage Academies charter schools.
Sikh civil-rights organizations such as the Sikh Coalition and SALDEF state that “public school districts nationwide routinely provide accommodations” for Sikh students to wear kirpans from elementary through high school, both public and private. Accommodations are often handled individually but follow similar safety protocols.
A federal judge on Friday struck down President Trump’s asylum policies in a scathing rebuke.
US District Judge John McConnell, an Obama appointee, accused President Trump of leaving millions of illegals living in the US in limbo.
The Trump Administration last November suspended asylum cases after two National Guard members were shot by an Afghan man who entered the US under the Biden Regime.

“I will permanently pause migration from all Third World Countries to allow the U.S. system to fully recover,” Trump wrote on Truth Social last year.
“Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation,” he said.
Judge McConnell blasted Trump’s “anti-immigrant animus” in his 135-page opinion.
“The Government effectively invites the Court to shut its eyes and ignore the strong evidence of anti-immigrant animus before it,” the judge wrote, according to CNN. “Doing so would require profound naiveté on the Court’s part. Unfortunately for the Government, that is an invitation that this Court will have to decline.”
A federal judge struck down a series of Trump administration policies targeting asylum seekers and immigrants seeking benefits in a scathing court ruling Friday.
Last year, the administration indefinitely suspended asylum adjudications and froze immigration applications for people who fell under the travel ban, among other measures, leaving millions of immigrants in the United States in legal limbo.
Judge John J. McConnell Jr. acknowledged that uncertainty in his 135-page opinion.
“(T)he Challenged Policies placed the lives of countless individuals on hold – solely by virtue of their countries of birth,” wrote McConnell, a nominee of former President Barack Obama. “Over six months later, many of those individuals remain without work, without legal status, and without any meaningful ability to plan for their futures.”
McConnell went on to lambast what he described as “strong evidence of anti-immigrant animus.”

The full caption reads, “We’re celebrating the joy of being yourself and the many wonderful families and friendships that make our world special.”
The video was a cartoon about having “two mommies.”
PBS’s Sesame Street posted a rainbow-colored image of the characters with the message: “Happy #PrideMonth from Sesame Street! Join us in celebrating and uplifting the LGBTQIA+ members of our community. Everyone is always welcome on Sesame Street.”
The post triggered a wave of angry replies on X, including “Kids don’t need to know who y’all are f-cking,” “Another kids show,” and “Why on earth is a kids show promoting pride… That sends a message to me that they think it’s ok for toddlers… to know about ANY kind of sex.”
The same brands have faced criticism in prior years for similar social media posts, drag queen appearances in kids’ programming, such as Nickelodeon’s past Blue’s Clues Pride Parade, and the introduction of same-sex parent characters.

Four violent D.C.-area youths had the tables turned on them after trying to rob a Marine veteran of his vehicle.
As FOX 5 DC reported, an Oxen Hill, Maryland man named Jheyco Borda was operating on his vehicle near Oxon Hill High School around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday when four teenagers sauntered up to him on the sidewalk.
Oxon Hill is a suburb in Maryland located just southeast of D.C.
Video shared by FOX 5 DC next shows the youths cornering Borda at the bed of his truck. One youth wearing a red, white, and blue sweatshirt then pulls out a pistol and points it at the veteran’s head, demanding his car keys and phone.
But Borda remembers his Marine training. He flips the tables on the armed thug and takes advantage of a momentary lapse from his tormentor.
He bravely grabs the suspect holding the gun and wrestles him for the weapon.
Fearing for their own safety and freedom, two of the other youths dash down the residential street, while another nervously walks aimlessly around the vehicle.
Borda’s brother later runs out of the house to help his sibling with the first youth. While a gunshot rang out, nobody was struck.
Borda’s brother then targets the second remaining thung. Both brothers soon successfully subdued them until Prince George’s County police arrived.

All four suspects were then taken into custody and remain in jail.
Borda spoke with FOX 5 DC following the incident and credited his Marine Corps hand-to-hand combat training for allowing him to escape danger.
“Once a Marine, always a Marine,” Borda said. “It took me just one split second. We went to training for the Marines, and that came out right at the moment.”
FOX 5 DC reports that Prince George’s County Police are seeking anyone with additional information about the incident to contact them immediately.

In 2025, The Gateway Pundit reported that an Arkansas father, Aaron Spencer, who killed a man he discovered in a car with his 14-year-old daughter last year, announced that he is running for sheriff in Lonoke County after the system failed his daughter.
As TGP’s Brian Lupo previously reported, Spencer called the Lonoke County Sheriff’s Department on October 8, 2024, to report his missing 14-year-old daughter.
While deputies were en route to his home, Spencer called back around 1:12 am to inform dispatch that he had found his daughter in a truck with Michael Fosler, a 67-year-old man.
After pursuing Fosler, there was a vehicle crash, at which point an altercation allegedly ensued. Spencer shot Fosler during the altercation.
Fosler had previously been arrested and booked in July by another agency for internet stalking of a child and sexual assault, according to Lonoke County Sheriff John Staley.
In October 2024, Spencer was initially charged with the second-degree murder of Fosler.
Now, according to court records obtained by Fox News Digital, “Special Circuit Court Judge Ralph Wilson Jr. dismissed the charges against Spencer on Thursday.”
The judge cited law enforcement’s mishandling of dash-camera and SD card evidence from Spencer’s truck, adding a dismissal is “an extraordinary and extreme remedy” in any criminal case.
“However, based on the totality of the circumstances and the unique, specific, and particular facts and circumstances of this case, the Court finds that conduct by law enforcement was so egregious that dismissal of this case is warranted,” the judge wrote.
Spencer’s defense team argued that law enforcement lost a critical SD card that may have contained video footage of the altercation — and failed to provide any documentation about when it went missing or how it disappeared.
The judge ruled that “the loss or destruction of the internal SD memory card of the dash camera has adversely impaired the Defendant’s ability to defend himself pursuant to these defenses, and thus his right to a fair trial,” according to court documents.
In his decision to run, Spencer noted that the justice system failed to protect his daughter.
“This campaign isn’t about me… It’s about every parent, every neighbor, every family who deserves to feel safe in their homes and safe in their community.”

Senate Republicans on Friday passed a nearly $70 billion reconciliation package to fund immigration operations through the end of Trump’s presidency.
RINO Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski was the lone Republican no vote.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Wednesday that Senate Republicans voted to advance the legislation.
The bill will finally fund Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), but this only comes after the Trump administration scrapped the $1.776 billion weaponization fund.
The bill will also not fund Trump’s military installations or security in the White House Ballroom.
Trump previously called for Republicans to pass the bill by June 1, but lawmakers revolted against the President’s agenda and held the funding for immigration agents hostage.
The Senate voted on Friday morning to finally send the bill to the House of Representatives, where it is expected to pass next week.
Some Republicans reportedly expressed concerns because the bill does not prevent Trump from restoring his anti-weaponization fund to compensate victims of Biden-era lawfare.
Other attempts were made to block the construction of Trump's White House Ballroom entirely. Six Republicans, Susan Collins (ME), Jon Husted (OH), Jerry Moran (KS), Lisa Murkowski (AK), Dan Sullivan (AK), and Thom Tillis (NC), voted in favor of Democrat Oregon Senator Jeff Merkley's failed amendment to require Congressional approval for the construction.
The Senate voted early Friday morning to pass a $69.5 billion budget reconciliation package to fund immigration enforcement operations through 2029, overcoming the concerns of several Republicans who were upset the bill did not include language barring the Trump administration from creating a $1.8 billion “anti-weaponization” fund to pay MAGA allies.
The legislation passed 52-47, taking Republicans one big step closer to ensuring that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Border Patrol are funded through the end of President Trump’s second term.
The Senate finally passed the bill Friday morning after voting on a marathon series of motions and amendments to alter it over the course of more than 18 hours.
Those amendments would have added language to address affordability, or to block the Trump administration from building a White House ballroom and establishing the “anti-weaponization” fund. Several amendments saw vulnerable Republicans break with their party to vote in favor of the proposals.
President Trump said he wants Bill Pulte, his incoming acting director of national intelligence, to begin the process of firing a large number of employees as part of a shake-up of the U.S. intelligence community.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal on Friday, Trump said he has privately told Pulte that he believes the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, or ODNI, which oversees 18 federal intelligence agencies and units, is “unnecessary and/or too big.”
“I’d like to see it smaller. I think there are a lot of people in there that shouldn’t be there,” Trump said, pointing to holdovers from the Biden and Obama administrations. Asked whether he is calling on Pulte to fire people, Trump said he wants him to “start the process,” adding that his eventual nominee to serve in the role permanently should continue that work.
Trump stunned many of his own advisers when he said earlier this week that he was appointing Pulte, the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, as his intelligence chief. The move was met with skepticism from some Republicans on Capitol Hill, who raised concerns about Pulte’s lack of national-security experience.

Bill Pulte is currently the director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency and the chairman of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
“I am appointing the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, William J. Pulte, to serve as Acting Director of National Intelligence,” Trump said.
“William has deep experience managing the most sensitive matters in America, the safety and soundness of the Markets, and over 10 Trillion Dollars at Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac, a substantial increase from where it was just 12 months ago. During this period, he will remain Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency, and Chairman of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. Congratulations to Director Pulte!” he added.
On Thursday, President Trump told reporters at the White House that Pulte is serving only as the Acting DNI and that he is interviewing other candidates for the permanent position.
Three Republican Senators on Thursday joined the Democrats and voted to block Bill Pulte from serving as the Acting Director of National Intelligence.
RINO Senators Cassidy, Collins and Murkowski voted for a Democrat sponsored amendment that would bar a Senate-confirmed head of another department from serving as Acting DNI.
Senator Mark Warner introduced the amendment to block Pulte from serving as Acting DNI.
Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) went off on Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI) during a Thursday committee hearing, where she shamelessly defended violent illegal alien criminals, including murderers, rapists, and fraudsters.
During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, titled “Protecting American Citizenship III: Denaturalization and its Constitutional Limits,” Horino went on an unhinged tirade, accusing the Trump Administration of “terrorizing immigrant communities” and defending immigrants who are convicted of heinous crimes.
“I happen to be the only naturalized citizen sitting on this committee, and I am horrified by the implication that naturalized citizens basically get second-class citizenship,” she screeched. “As a naturalized citizen, I’m proud of it. I can’t think of a more undemocratic, un-American thing to do to someone who chooses to become a US citizen to hold this over their heads and treat us like second-class citizens.”
The hearing focused on Senator Schmitt’s Stop Citizenship Abuse and Misrepresentation (SCAM) Act, which would expand the federal government’s authority to “revoke the citizenship of certain individuals who demonstrate through their involvement with fraud, other serious felonies, or terrorist organizations that they never met the statutory requirements for citizenship,” according to Schmitt’s office.
Hirono claims this would “impose even more requirements on naturalized citizens than we do on citizens.”
“We can talk about people 10 years later who commit murder, heinous acts, but the SCAM act also allows people to be prosecuted for welfare fraud,” she admitted in her attack on the bill. Still, she claimed that “anybody” could be accused of welfare fraud, and “24 million people who are naturalized in our country are going to be subjected to this kind of so-called oversight.”
“To say the least, it’s more than astounding. Should be unconstitutional,” she said.

Schmitt then went off on Hornio, slamming her for defending rapists, murderers, terrorists, and foreign fraudsters.
“Speaking of astounding, your comments are astounding, Senator,” Schmitt opened his comments. “You mention a few words: horrific. I think, to the American taxpayer, that’s been ripped off by people who came to this country to rip them off, that’s horrific.”
“You talk about bizarre,” he said as Hirono attempted to interrupt, then he fired back, “No, no, no. It’s my time now. It’s my time. You went over time. It’s my time.”
“Bizarre is the idea that you would be here in this committee defending violent murderers from being deported. That you would be defending violent rapists from being deported. That you would defend people who took advantage of the good people of this country, their taxpayer dollars. That is bizarre,” Schmitt continued after the interruption. “A terrorist who kills American citizens, you know what’s bizarre is your defense of that. So, forgive me if your 24 million Americans should be— or nationalized citizens, should be afraid, that’s ridiculous.”
“No, no, no, you have nothing but fear mongering. Here, what I’m saying in this bill is, if you do those things, the American people, if you take advantage of taxpayers– You’re not recognized,” he continued over Hirono’s repeated attempts to interrupt.
“If you commit a terrorist act, if you commit wholesale welfare fraud within 10 years, you’re damn right we’re deporting you! If you’re convicted— it’s not being accused of anything— if you are convicted in a court of law of these crimes, absolutely, we should not only convict you, but we should deport you. Gone!”
Schmitt concluded his scathing rebuke, telling the disgraced Senate Democrat, “And if you think that’s some sort of like negative assertion towards me, I’ll take it. I love it. That’s what we should be doing more of in this country because people are coming here, and they’re ripping off taxpayers, and I, for one, don’t want to see it anymore. And if you want to have that debate in public, we can do it, but that’s what this hearing is about: to examine the SCAM Act. So, I just like to expose a few of your lies in your most recent dissertation on the dias here.”

Why can’t the University of Notre Dame find an American citizen to teach English?
Apparently, that is such a difficult task that the Catholic university, located in Indiana, is turning to foreign workers via the H-1 B visa to fill the role.
The College Fix reports that the university has filed a “Notice of Intent to Hire,” signaling it plans to hire a professor of English under H1-B for the $87,000+ a year position.
Apparently, foreigners are better at teaching English.

Per The College Fix, other jobs the university says it must fill by hiring non-Americans include “an associate librarian ($96,000 per year), a marketing program analytics manager ($85,000 per year), and a ‘program coordinator for student success’ ($47,000 per year).”
The Gateway Pundit reported that two other Indiana universities, Purdue University and Indiana University, are both using H-1B visas to fill roles, despite Indiana’s wealth of qualified American candidates.
The program was originally intended to bring in temporary employees with highly specialized skills that few Americans possessed.
However, as a White House proclamation states, the H-1B program “has been deliberately exploited to replace, rather than supplement, American workers.”
According to the American Chamber of Commerce, the official intent of the H1B visa is to help employers temporarily hire foreign professionals for specialty occupations that require specialized knowledge.

It is concerning that the University, which boasts thousands of its own graduates with English degrees, can not find even one of its own alumni to fill the role.

Israel launched multiple strikes in southern Lebanon on Friday after agreeing to a ceasefire with the Lebanese government but not with Hezbollah.
Fighting continued on Thursday into Friday after Hezbollah rejected a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, describing the agreement as “false” and an “illusion.”

Under the terms of the renewed ceasefire, Israel and Lebanon agreed Wednesday to create a number of “pilot” security zones inside Lebanon from which the militant group Hezbollah would be banned.
The ceasefire “is contingent on a complete cessation of Hezbollah fire and the evacuation of all Hezbollah operatives” from areas south of the Litani River.
Aoun that the implementation of the ceasefire could begin within 24 hours of final approval.
In practical terms, he is waiting to hear back from the two main Shia blocs – the Amal Movement and Hezbollah – before making an announcement about what lies ahead.

Trump, however, told reporters on Thursday that the group “didn’t reject” the proposal. “Hezbollah called us and said, ‘How about stopping?'” he said.

And it would be really nice if Lebanon could have some peace. Lebanon’s been under attack for so many years. They’re always like an underdog. And it would be really nice if it could end.”

Israel went on to launch strikes in the south Lebanon city of Tyre, killing seven people, despite the ceasefire with Lebanon and actions by the Lebanese Army to implement the new deal with “pilot zones” to seize control from Hezbollah.
“One strike near the Jabal Amel hospital killed four people, wounded seven and lightly damaged the facility, while another elsewhere in the city killed three and wounded five, including two children, the source said,” CBS reports.
Israel’s military further warned three villages north of the Litani River in southern Lebanon that it would be launching additional attacks. “Anyone who is near Hezbollah operatives, their facilities, or their weapons endangers their life!” they said.
This comes as negotiations between the US and Iran continue, with talks over a “largely negotiated” framework for a 60-day “memorandum of understanding” (MOU) that Trump announced late last month.
Iran has made a deal with the US contingent on an Israel-Hezbollah ceasefire.

According to reports, The mother of Henry Nowak’s killer, Vickrum Digwa (also referred to as Vickrum Singh Digwa), hid the murder weapon.
Digwa called his parents and they arrived at the scene before police.
Kiran Kaur (Digwa’s mother) took the knife from the scene before police arrived and hid it at their family home in nearby St Denys. Police later recovered it.
She took the knife home while Henry was bleeding out on the ground.
Kaur later was charged with assisting an offender (by removing/hiding the murder weapon) and found guilty by a jury. Digwa himself was convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 21 years (sentencing on 1–2 June 2026).

On May 26, 2026, Cuba received a 60,000-ton rice shipment from the Chinese Communist Party. The following day, Beijing condemned the U.S. blockade and what it called increasing military threats against Cuba.
China is deepening its foothold in Cuba precisely as the Trump administration moves to sever it. The result is an escalating confrontation, playing out through sanctions, indictments, spy satellites, and back-channel ultimatums, over who controls the island 90 miles from Florida.
Satellite imagery has confirmed that China is actively expanding its signals intelligence infrastructure in Cuba. The Center for Strategic and International Studies has identified four facilities as highly likely sites supporting Chinese intelligence operations against the United States: Bejucal, Wajay, and Calabazar near Havana, and El Salao, located roughly 70 miles from the U.S. Naval Station at Guantanamo Bay.
A May 2025 CSIS satellite update documented major construction at Bejucal, where excavation crews removed six existing pole antennas and began building a Circularly Disposed Antenna Array (CDAA) with an outer ring nearly 574 feet in diameter. Imagery confirmed the facility is active, with satellite dishes repositioning across multiple image captures. CDAAs are used for high-frequency direction finding and can pinpoint radio-signal origins from 3,000 to 8,000 miles away — the same technology China has deployed at Mischief Reef and Subi Reef in the South China Sea to monitor U.S. naval activity.
Collectively, the four Cuban facilities provide coverage of approximately 20 U.S. military installations in Florida, including U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) and U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) headquarters, the Kennedy Space Center, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and multiple submarine bases.
A May 2025 letter from the House Homeland Security Committee to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem warned that by combining telemetry interception, geospatial intelligence, and electromagnetic surveillance, China is positioning itself to “systematically erode U.S. strategic advantages without ever firing a shot.” The 2025 SOUTHCOM Posture Statement similarly noted that Cuba “serves as a proximate location for intelligence gathering and force projection by our adversaries.”
In May 2026, the Wall Street Journal reported that China and Russia had nearly tripled their combined intelligence personnel in Cuba since 2023 and upgraded equipment at listening facilities within range of both U.S. combatant commands. The 2025 National Defense Authorization Act mandates the Pentagon to deliver a classified report to Congress on Chinese and Russian intelligence capabilities in Cuba by June 2026, a deadline that arrives this month.
China has provided nearly $8 billion in financing to Cuba since 2000. In 2023, the Wall Street Journal reported that Beijing agreed to pay Cuba several billion dollars for the rights to establish electronic eavesdropping facilities on the island. China also built Cuba’s telecommunications infrastructure, supplying Huawei equipment that includes filtering software used to monitor and block citizen communications. The regime demonstrated this capability in July 2021 when it shut down internet and phone services to suppress anti-government protests.
Cuba’s intelligence cooperation with China extends into human intelligence. In December 2023, former U.S. Ambassador to Bolivia Manuel Rocha was arrested and charged with espionage after allegedly serving as a Cuban intelligence asset inside the U.S. government for 15 years, helping shape Washington’s foreign policy toward the Western Hemisphere. Attorney General Merrick Garland described it as one of the “highest-reaching and longest-lasting infiltrations” of the U.S. government by a foreign agent. Because Cuba and China routinely share collected intelligence, classified information obtained by Cuban assets inside the U.S. government likely reached Beijing.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio identified Cuba as a direct and growing national security threat in May 2026: “Cuba not only has weapons that they’ve acquired from Russia and China over the years, but they also host Russian and Chinese intelligence presence in their country, not far from where we’re standing right now. The other thing that poses a threat to the national security of the United States is to have a failed state 90 miles from our shores run by friends of our adversaries.”
An Axios report from May 17, 2026, citing classified U.S. intelligence provided by a senior Trump administration official, stated that Cuba has acquired more than 300 military drones from Russia and Iran since 2023, with Cuban military officials discussing scenarios involving their use against the Guantanamo Bay Naval Station, U.S. military vessels, and Key West. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed before Congress that the Russian nuclear submarine Kazan has used Cuban ports. The drone figure, sourced from a classified leak with no corroborating public document, has not been independently verified.
Since February 2026, the U.S. Air Force has conducted at least 25 reconnaissance flights near Cuba under Operation Southern Spear, deploying RC-135V Rivet Joint signals intelligence aircraft to assess Cuban military capabilities and defense systems.
The Trump administration has pursued Cuba across diplomatic, legal, economic, and military tracks simultaneously. On January 3, 2026, U.S. forces captured Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, ending Venezuela’s subsidized oil shipments that had been supplying Cuba approximately 26,500 barrels per day, roughly 24% of the island’s daily consumption.
On January 29, 2026, Trump signed Executive Order 14380, declaring Cuba an “unusual and extraordinary threat” under IEEPA and imposing tariffs on any country supplying oil to Havana. On May 1, 2026, Trump signed Executive Order 14404, extending secondary sanctions to all foreign entities, including foreign financial institutions, that provide material support to the Cuban government or any designated Cuban entity. The model mirrors secondary sanctions applied against Iran, Russia, and North Korea.
On May 7, Rubio used that authority to sanction GAESA (Grupo de Administración Empresarial S.A.), the military-run conglomerate controlling Cuba’s hotels, ports, banking, and retail sectors, along with its executive president, Ania Guillermina Lastres Morera, and the Moa Nickel joint venture. Rubio described GAESA as sitting on “$18 billion of assets, and not a penny of that transfers over to the state budget. Not a penny of that goes over to help the people of Cuba.” Canadian firm Sherritt International suspended its participation in Cuban joint venture activities the same day the sanctions were announced.
On May 20, the Department of Justice unsealed an indictment against 94-year-old former Cuban President Raúl Castro on charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. nationals, destruction of aircraft, and four counts of murder in connection with the 1996 Cuban Air Force shootdown of two Brothers to the Rescue civilian aircraft that killed four men. The following day, ICE arrested Adys Lastres Morera, sister of GAESA’s executive president, in Miami, after Rubio revoked her green card on grounds she was managing real estate assets in Florida while aiding the Cuban regime, under the authority of Section 237 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
Since January 2026, the administration has imposed more than 240 new sanctions against Cuba and intercepted at least seven tankers carrying oil to the island, slashing Cuba’s energy imports by 80 to 90 percent. CIA Director John Ratcliffe traveled to Havana in May 2026 and issued a direct ultimatum: structural political changes in exchange for sanctions relief, with an explicit warning that the offer would not remain open indefinitely. Three rounds of diplomatic talks between Washington and Havana have produced, by Cuba’s own ambassador’s account, “no progress.”
The Trump administration’s push against Chinese influence has extended beyond Cuba. Following meetings with Rubio, Panama withdrew from China’s Belt and Road Initiative in February 2025, becoming the first country in the Western Hemisphere to do so, and moved to restore Panamanian control over canal port operations previously dominated by Chinese state-linked companies. Operation Absolute Resolve, the U.S. military operation that captured Maduro in January 2026, disrupted China’s access to subsidized Venezuelan oil and weakened Beijing’s strategic position in the country.
Honduras moved to reactivate its trade relationship with Taiwan. Mexico imposed tariffs of up to 50% on Chinese imports to close the backdoor route into the U.S. market. Chile cancelled a China Mobile submarine cable concession connecting Valparaíso to Hong Kong after a U.S. warning. Peru withdrew congressional authorization permitting a Chinese military hospital ship to dock. U.S. security cooperation has been strengthened with Guyana, El Salvador, Argentina, and Peru.
The rollback has limits. Colombia formally joined the Belt and Road in May 2025. China has surpassed the United States as the top trading partner of Brazil, Peru, Chile, and other regional economies, with two-thirds of Latin American and Caribbean nations signed onto Belt and Road. Bilateral trade between China and South America reached a record $518 billion in 2024.
As U.S. sanctions have cut off Cuba’s oil supply, China has stepped into the resulting energy vacuum. Chinese solar equipment exports to Cuba rose from approximately $3 million in 2023 to $117 million in 2025, according to the British energy think tank Ember. Cuba connected 49 new solar parks to its grid between early 2025 and early 2026, adding more than 1,000 megawatts of capacity with Chinese equipment and financing, one of the fastest renewable energy transitions ever recorded by a developing country. In January 2026, President Xi Jinping personally approved an $80 million emergency aid package for Cuban electrical infrastructure alongside the 60,000-ton rice shipment.
China’s Foreign Ministry has dismissed U.S. sanctions as “brutal” and “unlawful,” demanding their immediate end. Spokesman Lin Jian stated that Washington was “creating pretexts and spreading rumors to defame” Cuba while maintaining an illegal blockade. Beijing framed its energy cooperation explicitly as resistance to U.S. economic pressure. CFR analysts have noted that China’s growing role in Cuba’s solar infrastructure could provide additional leverage to expand intelligence-gathering capabilities on the island beyond what satellite sites already provide.
The FY2026 National Defense Authorization Act mandates the Pentagon to deliver a classified report to Congress on Chinese and Russian intelligence capabilities in Cuba by June 2026. The requirement was inserted by the Senate and covers the four identified signals intelligence (SIGINT) facilities, personnel levels and equipment upgrades at each, Russian naval use of Cuban ports, and the combined threat to U.S. military installations across Florida and the Caribbean.
The report will be the first congressionally mandated, on-the-record Pentagon assessment of the full Chinese and Russian intelligence presence in Cuba. It lands as the most acute U.S.-Cuba confrontation since the 1962 Missile Crisis. The COINS Act, incorporated into the FY2026 NDAA, expanded the definition of “country of concern” for outbound U.S. investment restrictions beyond China to include Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, and Venezuela, a congressional signal that these actors are understood to operate in coordination.
Rubio has stated that Cuba has a history of “buying time and waiting us out” and that the current administration will not permit that strategy. Trump has said that previous U.S. presidents considered intervening in Cuba for decades but that “it looks like I’ll be the one that does it.”
The Raúl Castro indictment gives Washington a legal pretext for a capture operation modeled on the Maduro raid. On the other hand, with the White House focused on the war with Iran, the likelihood of military action against Cuba is assessed as moderate. Polymarket, the world’s largest online prediction market, where traders stake real money on geopolitical outcomes, currently places the probability of U.S. military action against Cuba by December 31, 2026 at 54%, with more than $5.2 million traded on the question.

That is why I’m not recommending readers wait for the official green light from the mainstream press.

In testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee on June 2, 2026, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said, “The Lebanese government and the Israeli government could do a peace deal tomorrow. Israel has no territorial claims in Lebanon. Hezbollah has called for the overthrow of the current Lebanese government. The impediment in Lebanon is the fact that Hezbollah has embedded itself into that country.”
Israel’s situations in Gaza and Lebanon are fundamentally different, and conflating them obscures the path to any resolution. In Gaza, the core dispute is territorial and existential. Hamas does not recognize Israel’s right to exist, governs Gaza as its administrative authority, and frames the conflict as a struggle over the land itself. This is reflected in the slogan “from the river to the sea,” which means that a Palestinian state would occupy all of the land that is currently Israel.
In Lebanon, no such territorial logic applies. Israel has not claimed Lebanese sovereign territory, and the Lebanese government has not called for Israel’s destruction. The Lebanon conflict is not a war between two states. It is a war between Israel and an armed organization operating inside Lebanon beyond the Lebanese government’s control, using Lebanese territory as a launch pad while the Lebanese state and its people bear the consequences.
Rubio’s claim is supported by the record. In October 2022, the two countries, technically in a state of war since 1948, concluded a U.S.-brokered maritime boundary agreement dividing gas and oil exploration rights in the eastern Mediterranean. Then-Secretary of State Antony Blinken called it “equally beneficial to both Israel and Lebanon.” Two governments nominally at war reached a negotiated settlement on a resource dispute. The reason broader peace remains out of reach has nothing to do with territorial claims. The problem has always been Hezbollah.
Lebanon is treated in international forums as a normal sovereign state, but that framing obscures what is actually operating inside its borders. Hezbollah is not just a political party that also has a militia wing. It is a parallel state. It runs hospitals and health centers, operates schools, and controls the satellite television network Al-Manar, which the U.S. Treasury designated a Specially Designated Global Terrorist Entity in 2006. It holds seats in the Lebanese parliament and has placed ministers in the cabinet. Its networks of institutions have built a distinct Shiite identity separate from the wider Lebanese population, creating a constituency that is politically and socially bound to the organization rather than to the Lebanese state.
Hezbollah did not emerge organically from Lebanese society. It was founded by people linked directly to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps following the 1979 revolution and formally took shape in 1982. It has since become Iran’s most powerful proxy, assessed by researchers at the Center for Strategic and International Studies as the most heavily armed non-state actor in the world. It maintains its own command structure, its own foreign policy, and receives its funding and weapons from Tehran independent of any Lebanese government decision. The Lebanese state does not control Hezbollah. Hezbollah operates alongside it, and in many respects above it.
The consequences of that arrangement became codified after the 2006 war, when the UN Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 1701. The resolution established that the area between the Blue Line and the Litani River was to be free of any armed personnel, assets, and weapons other than those of the Lebanese government and the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), the UN peacekeeping mission whose mandate was expanded by the resolution to monitor the cessation of hostilities, and called for full implementation of the Taif Accords requiring the disarmament of all armed groups in Lebanon so that there would be no weapons or authority in Lebanon other than that of the state. On paper, the framework was sound. In practice, it failed completely.
Rather than disarming, Hezbollah rebuilt, rearmed, and embedded itself more deeply into southern Lebanese society, turning the region into a military stronghold in direct violation of Resolution 1701. Its stockpile of missiles continued to grow. Before the outbreak of war in October 2023, Hezbollah had accumulated an estimated 150,000 rockets and missiles, more than the arsenals of many governments around the world.
On October 8, 2023, one day after Hamas’s attack on Israel, Hezbollah opened fire from southern Lebanon into northern Israel. This was the execution of what Iran and its proxies call the “unity of arenas” doctrine: the deliberate coordination of simultaneous pressure on Israel across multiple fronts to stretch its military and prevent it from concentrating force in any one theater.
The doctrine had received explicit public expression as early as April 2023, six months before October 7, when Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah publicly warned that any Israeli attempt to isolate the different arenas would lead to war.
From October 8, 2023, Hezbollah launched over 17,000 rockets, missiles, and UAVs into Israel, killing dozens of civilians and forcing more than 60,000 Israelis to evacuate their homes, a displacement that lasted over a year. Lebanon’s government is constitutionally paralyzed by design. The 1989 Taif Agreement, which ended the civil war, formalized a confessional power-sharing system in which the presidency is reserved for a Maronite Christian, the prime ministership for a Sunni Muslim, and the parliamentary speakership for a Shia. That system, meant to prevent political sectarianism, actually reaffirmed and consolidated it, creating a structure in which decision-making paralysis is a built-in feature rather than an aberration. Every significant political decision requires cross-sectarian consensus, which Hezbollah, as the dominant Shia political force, can block.
That paralysis, combined with the ongoing state of undeclared war with Israel, has contributed to Lebanon’s economic ruin. Since 2019, Lebanon has been in the grip of an economic and financial collapse that has left the banking sector insolvent, caused the Lebanese pound to lose 98 percent of its value, and pushed more than a third of the population into poverty.
The Lebanese Armed Forces, underfunded even before the collapse, are now structurally incapable of projecting force in the south, even if the political will existed. Confronting Hezbollah means risking civil conflict with a militia that is better armed, better funded, and more combat-experienced than the national army.
The result is an arrangement that has repeated itself for decades: Hezbollah fires from Lebanese territory, Israel responds against Lebanese territory, Lebanese civilians pay the price, the UN calls for restraint, and nothing changes. The Lebanese government complains. Hezbollah remains. The cycle resets.
The problem is not that Israel and Lebanon cannot reach agreements. They demonstrably can. The problem is that one armed-organization, answerable to Tehran rather than Beirut, has effectively stripped the Lebanese government of its sovereign authority to decide whether the country is at war.
Democrats are now calling for the 25th Amendment to be invoked, claiming that Trump fell asleep during his Oval Office announcement on Thursday.
Trump’s health is coming under increased scrutiny as the left tries to distract the country from the doped-up puppet they installed in the White House and gaslight everybody who knew Joe Biden was mentally incompetent.
Trump made an “Announcement on Beautiful, Clean Coal” on Thursday, during a more than one-hour-long event, where he fielded questions from the press for approximately 40 minutes. Biden didn’t even speak to the press.
Now, the Democrats are claiming that Trump “passed out” during the event, using a clip of Trump leaning back, with his eyes open, as Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Lee Zeldin delivered remarks.
Trump appeared to look down during the speech, giving the impression that his eyes were closed for a second, but he was clearly never asleep.

Left-wing “news” account HQNewsNow, formerly Kamala HQ, a propaganda arm of the failed Kamala Harris campaign for President, shared a portion of the clip on X, writing, “Trump appears to be completely passed out asleep during his 3pm Oval Office announcement.”
“How long until the @WhiteHouse says he was just ‘blinking’?” they added in a follow-up post.
The White House press office responded with a screenshot from the same post, clearly showing Trump’s eyes were open. “His eyes are literally open in the clip you posted, you dumbass mouth-breathers,” they wrote.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Democrat Rep. Ted Lieu confronted Secretary of State Marco Rubio at a House Committee on Foreign Affairs hearing, accusing the President of sleeping, and Rubio went off on him. Lieu further claimed that Trump had been missing for eight days, which is a total lie.
“I can’t believe we’re in a Foreign Affairs Committee meeting in front of the House, at an important time in American foreign policy, answering questions from, supposedly, someone who thinks he’s a medical expert, when he’s not,” Rubio said, calling the claims “absurd and ridiculous.” He added, “I’ve been on foreign trips with the President, that he doesn’t sleep in the whole flight, and everyone else is sleeping on the plane, and he’s, you know, wandering the hallways looking for someone to wake up and talk to. So, I don’t know what you’re referring to, but he has an incredible amount of energy.”

Then earlier this week I had a top official from the DOJ as a guest on my national podcast- “WAR Zone Live”- the official podcast of The Gateway Pundit.
I had the honor of interviewing Asst. Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division Harmeet Dhillon of the Trump DOJ.
I was very respectful to the Assistant AG when I brought up LA Mayor Karen Bass. It was not a pre-planned question. It was off-the-cuff remark- simply because I had just read the shocking story minutes before my show started.
I said to AG Harmeet Dhillon, “Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass has publicly announced that she is heading an obstruction campaign against ICE, and will not follow federal law when it comes to cooperating and turning over illegal aliens. Why don’t we indict and arrest her for treason, or insurrection, or aiding and abetting foreign criminals illegally on American soil? She is actively promoting insurrection against the US federal government.”
I could see the Assistant AG tense up right away. The answer I received from the Assistant AG Dhillon almost knocked me off my feet, as she defended the LA mayor, calling Bass’s remarks “protected free speech”.
NO, THEY ARE NOT!
Free speech is when a mayor says, “I don’t like that law. Let’s elect new leaders and change it.” That’s free speech.
But as an elected public official, if you refuse to comply with the laws of the US federal government, and you protect and harbor criminals who have broken the law- that’s insurrection and treason.
LA’s Mayor is saying publicly that federal law doesn’t matter in California. If you don’t agree with the law, you can just ignore it. And you can obstruct the ICE agents trying to enforce the laws. That’s dereliction of duty. That’s aiding and abetting criminals. That’s inciting anarchy.
I have a question for Mayor Bass and Governor Newsom. Thank God I don’t live in California. But if I did, and I didn’t like your state tax laws, and I refused to pay California income taxes, would that be okay? Or would you indict and arrest me, and send me to prison for ten years? But why? I don’t like your laws, why can’t I ignore them just like illegal aliens?
What’s the difference?
If any elected official refuses to comply with federal law, and encourages others to not comply with the law, they are, by definition- a criminal committing insurrection against this country. They are a modern-day Benedict Arnold.
January 6th was a peaceful protest against a stolen election turned into entrapment by the crooked FBI. But Mayor Karen Bass is conducting a real coup. This is a real insurrection. This is a communist color revolution and attempted overthrow of the U.S. government- under the command of Mayor Karen Bass.

Mayor Bass is directing radicals to not comply with U.S. law. She is inciting them to riot against ICE, commit violence against ICE officers, and chase federal officers out of Los Angeles.

I never back down, so I pushed Dhillon, again, for an answer as to why the LA Mayor could not be charged for her criminal actions. This time her answer wasn’t about protected speech. She had a new excuse. It was worse than the first one.
The Assistant AG of the Trump DOJ claimed that federal crimes in California cannot be prosecuted because quote “In a blue state like California, we wouldn’t win in court anyway.”
Our DOJ no longer prosecutes cases in blue cities and states because we can’t win?
Once again, here’s an example of how ludicrous this is. What if I refuse to pay federal income taxes because I don’t agree with tax laws. I live in a red state. If a Democrat was president, would his DOJ refuse to prosecute me for my crimes because I live in a red state, and therefore it’s tough to get a conviction?
This is why we are losing America.
Because Democrats fight, and stick together, and are willing to do anything to win- weaponizing government, spying on Trump, persecuting Trump, rigging juries and judges against Trump, using the IRS to destroy the lives of political opponents- and Republicans are weak, feckless cowards who find excuses to always compromise, settle, back down, avoid battle, or wave the white flag of defeat.
I love President Trump. I trust President Trump. I will always be loyal to President Trump. I will always fight for President Trump. But he is being blocked and backstabbed at every turn by not just Democrat traitors, insurrectionist politicians and judges, and the Deep State, but also by his own GOP Senators, and his own government officials.
Until President Trump’s DOJ grows some balls and charges Democrat officials who obstruct justice with insurrection, it will never stop.
It’s sadly a free pass for Democrats to conduct violence, burn down cities, refuse to comply with federal law, and do whatever the hell they want in blue cities and states, with no fear of accountability and retribution.
Now you understand the obstacles we face. No one is fighting for us. Even President Trump’s top officials make excuses for Democrats who break the law.
As of right now, President Trump’s DOJ is not the Department of Justice, it’s the DOE- “Department of Excuses.”
The American people want justice. If we can’t get it with the greatest President of my lifetime, then it sure appears we will never get it.

A veteran actor known with a successful five-decade career, which includes Hollywood blockbusters, was savagely murdered this week in what appears to be a personal attack.
Per multiple reports, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to a residence in the 19200 block of Erwin Street on Wednesday morning after receiving a horrifying 911 call.
“I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin,” the person said to the LAPD.
When police arrived, they found 81-year-old James Handy unconscious in the front yard of a home with multiple stab wounds.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
LAPD later identified the suspect as 44-year-old Michael Gledhill of Tarzana. Investigators say that Gledhill flagged down officers as they arrived and told them he was the person they were looking for.
Cops revealed that Gledhill lived at the residence with his mother, who was Handy’s girlfriend.
Police arrested and charged Gledhill with murder. His bail is currently set at $2 million.
Surveillance footage from the scene captured Gledhill calmly walking away before returning with the police. Quite harrowing.

The LAPD has not uncovered a motive for the killing at this time.
Detectives, though, “believe this is an isolated incident, and there appears to be no danger to the public.”
Handy had a decorated career lasting over five decades in Hollywood, beginning in the 1970s. According to IMDB, he had nearly 150 acting credits.
His most recent role was in the 2022 Hollywood blockbuster “Top Gun: Maverick”, where he played a bartender. He also played an exterminator in the 1995 film “Jumanji.”
The New York Post notes that other roles for Handy included “The West Wing,” “9-1-1,” “NCIS: Los Angeles,” “CSI: NY,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Castle,” “Criminal Minds,” “Cold Case,” “Without a Trace,” “ER,” “The X-Files” and “Mulaney.”
California gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton unloaded on the Golden State’s election system during an appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle this week, describing California’s vote-counting process as “insane” and alleging that a whistleblower exposed a troubling ballot-handling scheme inside a U.S. Post Office after a previous election.
Hilton joined host Laura Ingraham as outrage continues to grow over California’s notoriously slow vote-counting process. As of election night, millions of ballots remained uncounted, with state officials warning that final results could take days—or even weeks—to be certified.
Hilton revealed that during a previous election cycle, a courageous post office whistleblower reached out to him with a terrifying account of blatant, organized corruption happening right under the noses of voters.
According to the whistleblower, postal workers were instructed to sort mail-in ballots into separate “buckets” after Election Day had already concluded. Even worse, supervisor instructions completely obliterated the rule of law regarding postmarks.
Steve Hilton: “It’s insane. This election system that they’ve created here is just another monument to their uselessness, another version of high-speed rail.
And just to really underline the point that you made about the corruption, I remember last time around, during the last elections we had here, I had a whistleblower who contacted me from a post office. They described how there were different buckets they were supposed to put the ballots in after they came in after Election Day, and they were explicitly told that it didn’t just have to be a postmark that was on or before Election Day that qualified. If the date was handwritten, that would be okay as well.
And you think, what? It’s just unbelievable. And, of course, that’s why so many people don’t believe the results. It undermines confidence.
So I completely agree with you. There is a case out of Mississippi that I think might help with this, that’s before the Supreme Court. But the whole thing is insane. I mean, the fact that you’re sending out mail ballots to every single person on a voting roll that is wildly inaccurate, even though it’s being cleaned up because the Trump Justice Department, thankfully, is bringing lawsuits against California to clean up the voter rolls.

In February 2026, investigative reporter Nick Shirley traveled across the state and exposed how California’s lack of voter ID, mass unsolicited mail ballots, ballot harvesting, and “curing” combine with wildly inaccurate voter rolls to make fraud almost inevitable in the one-party state. Shirley found dead people on the rolls, a dog registered to vote, voters listed at 125 years old, and dozens of registrations tied to single addresses like a mail store.
Earlier reporting detailed how Los Angeles County alone had to scrub over a million ineligible voters from bloated rolls, and how non-citizens and even foreign nationals have ended up on the rolls and received mail ballots.
President Trump sounded the alarm on California on Thursday, telling reporters, “They’re rigging the election,” as counting continues across the state and key races for California governor and Los Angeles mayor remain undecided.
A correction officer testified that she was not the orange ‘flash’ that was seen moving toward Jeffrey Epstein’s jail tier the night he died.
Last July, an investigation into the Epstein prison video released by the Department of Justice revealed several discrepancies.
Recall, The Gateway Pundit first reported on the missing minute in the video that was released to the public.
CBS News’ investigative report revealed that video forensic analysis revealed several major irregularities in the DOJ’s 10-hour and 52-minute Epstein prison video.
One irregularity pointed out by CBS revealed that around 10:40 p.m., a person wearing what appears to be an orange shirt was seen moving toward Epstein’s cell on the night of his death.

A former correction officer at the New York correctional facility where convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019 testified before the House Oversight Committee last month that she was not the orange shape seen moving up the stairs of Epstein’s tier the night he died, furthering the mystery of what happened that night.
According to a transcript released Thursday, House Oversight Committee members questioned Tova Noel on May 18 about surveillance footage showing an unidentified orange-colored figure moving up a staircase at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2019, the night before Epstein was discovered dead in his cell in the Special Housing Unit of the Metropolitan Correctional Center in lower Manhattan. His death was ruled a suicide.
In her testimony, Noel steadfastly denied being the individual in the footage, and maintained that she was not present at that moment. She offered no explanation for what the shape could be.
“To be very honest, I don’t know what it is, who it is, because I never went back to the tier, and I was never carrying anything orange at all, and I never issued anything orange to anyone in the SHU — not just only Epstein, just anyone,” Noel said.

The Department of Justice announced Thursday that an American citizen who spent years living and working in Communist China has pleaded guilty to acting as an agent of the Chinese government inside the United States, exposing yet another alarming example of Beijing’s efforts to infiltrate America’s political institutions.
Thomas Weir Pauken II, 50, who lived and worked in China for over a decade while writing for Beijing’s state-run propaganda outlets under the pseudonym “Tom McGregor,” admitted in federal court that he acted as an unregistered agent for the People’s Republic of China.
According to the DOJ and court documents, Pauken worked at the direction and control of Chinese intelligence handlers tied to the Ministry of State Security (MSS) from at least 2019 until February 2026. His primary handler, a woman he knew as “Cathy,” along with others identified as “Richard” and “William,” tasked him with meeting potential intelligence assets inside the United States, supplying them with secure communication devices like laptops and cell phones, assigning them information requirements, and funneling reports back to Beijing.
Pauken received at least $100,000 for his services, plus travel expenses for multiple trips from China to the U.S. between 2019 and 2025 to cultivate sources and gather intelligence on American targets.
“By his own admission, not only did Thomas Pauken attempt to infiltrate U.S. political circles at the direction of China’s Ministry of State Security, but he gathered intelligence on his American targets and reported it back to his Chinese intelligence handlers,” said Assistant Director Roman Rozhavsky of the FBI’s Counterintelligence and Espionage Division.
“This case illustrates the lengths to which the Chinese Communist Party will go to undermine our democratic institutions and degrade our political freedoms, but it also demonstrates the FBI’s resolve to defend the homeland from threats to our national security. Let this plea serve as a clear warning: If you attempt to help a foreign adversary as an unregistered agent in the U.S., the FBI will find you and bring you to justice.”
Assistant Attorney General for National Security John A. Eisenberg added: “Pauken admitted to being part of a conspiracy to obtain sensitive information from the U.S. government for the PRC. His actions are a betrayal of this Nation and pose an unacceptable risk to our national security.”
The FBI’s Philadelphia and Washington Field Offices investigated the case.
What makes this case even more explosive: Pauken, the son of longtime Texas Republican and former state party chairman Thomas Pauken Sr., spent years embedded in Communist China’s propaganda apparatus. He worked as a commentator and editor for outlets including China Radio International, CCTV, CGTN, and most recently as an editor at Xinhua. He even authored a 2019 book positioning himself as a “neutral” voice on U.S.-China relations while living under Beijing’s thumb.
Court records and FBI affidavits reveal Pauken helped connect a consultant (“Person 1”) — who was seeking a position in the incoming second Trump administration — with his Chinese handler “Cathy.” He supplied the individual with a cell phone and laptop for secure communications with the MSS-linked contact. Pauken reportedly told his handlers he was “80 percent sure” the consultant would pass along confidential information if hired — while allegedly warning the consultant not to share classified material.
Pauken also produced reports he believed were being delivered all the way to Chinese President Xi Jinping. He additionally sold information on U.S. technology and the Department of Justice to a group in Wuhan that wanted help finding experts for cyber espionage operations.
The Department of Justice announced the plea in the Eastern District of Virginia. Pauken faces up to 10 years in prison at his scheduled sentencing on September 1.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has confirmed the first case of New World screwworm (NWS) in American livestock in nearly six decades, sparking an immediate nationwide emergency response to protect the multibillion-dollar cattle industry.
The screwworms were found in a 3-week-old calf on a ranch in La Pryor, Zavala County, Texas, roughly 50 miles north of the Mexican border.
Larvae were found infesting the animal’s umbilical area.
The USDA’s Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) confirmed the case on Wednesday after samples were tested at the National Veterinary Services Laboratories in Ames, Iowa.
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins described the situation as one the Trump Administration is treating with “the utmost seriousness.”
Rollins said, “We are treating the confirmed case of New World Screwworm on a Texas cattle ranch with the utmost seriousness and are responding aggressively alongside our state partners, TAHC (Texas Animal Health Commission). USDA’s proactive actions bought us nearly a year to prepare, as models had projected New World Screwworm would reach the United States by the summer of 2025. That preparation allowed us to move immediately when this case was detected.”

New World screwworm is the larval stage of the Cochliomyia hominivorax fly.
Unlike ordinary blowflies that feed only on dead tissue, female screwworm flies lay hundreds of eggs in any open wound, cut, or mucous membrane of warm-blooded animals, including cattle, horses, deer, goats, pets, wildlife, and, in rare cases, humans or birds.
Once the eggs hatch, the larvae use hook-like mouthparts to burrow deep into living flesh, feeding aggressively and causing massive tissue destruction, secondary infections, and extreme pain.
Left untreated, a single infestation can kill a cow in as little as a few weeks.
The parasite does not infest meat, fruits, vegetables, or processed food products, so the nation’s commercial food supply remains safe under USDA inspection protocols.
The USDA has activated its pre-prepared New World Screwworm Response Playbook.
The Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) has established an infested zone covering parts of Zavala and Uvalde counties. All warm-blooded animals in the zone are under quarantine and cannot move without prior authorization from TAHC.
Additionally, millions of sterilized male flies that mate with wild females, producing non-viable eggs and crashing the population, are being released in the area.
No additional cases have been detected as of Thursday.
