President Trump will deliver remarks on energy tonight at the Port of Corpus Christi, Texas, ahead of the March 3 Primary Elections next week.
Trump has not yet made an official endorsement in the three-way GOP US Senate primary between Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, RINO Senator John Cornyn, and US Rep. Wesley Hunt. Still, Cornyn was invited to join the President to travel on Air Force One, per the White House’s guest list. Senator Ted Cruz, Rep. Lance Gooden, Rep. Michael Cloud, President of the National Border Patrol Council Paul Perez, and actor Dennis Quaid were also on the flight to Texas.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Ken Paxton attended Trump’s State of the Union speech on Tuesday as a guest of Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX), who argued that Trump’s silence in the race is an endorsement of Paxton to replace Cornyn. “When you don’t endorse a 24-year incumbent, what does that say to you?” he said to reporters.
The White House released a statement on Friday, highlighting Trump's American energy agenda in Texas, where gas prices, home prices, and rent prices are down, and hundreds of billions of dollars are being invested in Texas manufacturing.
"Today, he returns to a state that is thriving under Republican leadership — powered by American energy dominance, bold tax relief, secure borders, and massive private sector investments," the statement read.
"Under President Trump, Texas families are seeing real results in lower costs, higher wages, safer streets, and more jobs — with much more to come as the Trump Administration works tirelessly to repair the damage of the Biden era."
Prior to speaking, the President is receiving an "Energy Briefing," per the White House.
This comes after Energy Secretary Chris Wright approved an expansion of 12% for Cheniere Energy’s Corpus Christi liquefied natural gas (LNG) Terminal to export more LNG on Thursday.
The President is scheduled to begin speaking at 3:35 pm ET.
Bill Clinton is testifying before the House Oversight Committee on his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.
House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer told reporters that Bill Clinton testified that to his knowledge President Trump was not involved with Epstein.
“Trump has never said anything to me to make me think he was involved with Epstein,” Comer said.
WATCH:
On Friday morning, House Oversight Chairman James Comer said that Bill Clinton flew on Epstein’s jet dubbed ‘Lolita Express’ 27 times. Comer also said that Epstein visited the Clinton White House 17 times.
Clinton was all over the Epstein files. Numerous photos shows Bill Clinton with alleged Epstein sex-trafficking victims.
Despite the overwhelming evidence of Clinton’s connections to Epstein, the former president remained defiant in his opening statement and insisted he did nothing wrong in his opening statement.
“First, I had no idea of the crimes Epstein was committing,” Clinton said.
“No matter how many photos you show me, I have two things that at the end of the day matter more than your interpretation of those 20-year-old photos. I know what I saw, and more importantly, what I didn’t see,” Clinton said.
“I know what I did, and more importantly, what I didn’t do,” he added. “I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong.”
“As someone who grew up in a home with domestic abuse, not only would I not have flown on his plane if I had any inkling of what he was doing — I would have turned him in myself and led the call for justice for his crimes, not sweetheart deals,” Clinton added.
Bill Clinton also defended his wife Hillary.
“I have to get personal. You made Hillary come in. She had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein. Nothing. She has no memory of even meeting him,” he said.
President Trump earlier Friday defended Bill Clinton.
“I don’t like seeing him deposed, but they certainly went after me a lot more than that,” Trump said.

President Trump on Friday suggested a “friendly takeover” of Cuba could be underway as his administration squeezes the Cuban government with an oil blockade.
While speaking to reporters as he departed the White House to deliver remarks on energy in Corpus Christi, Texas, Trump floated the idea of a takeover.
“Maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba,” Trump said. “We could very well end up having a friendly takeover of Cuba.”
“They’re in big trouble,” Trump continued. “You know, we have people living here that want to go back to Cuba, and they’re very happy with what’s going on.”
WATCH:
Trump: No money, they have no anything right now, but they’re talking with us, and maybe we’ll have a friendly takeover of Cuba. We could very well end up having a friendly takeover of Cuba. After many, many years, we’ve had a lot of years of dealing with Cuba, I’ve been hearing about Cuba since I’m a little boy.
But they’re in big trouble, and we could very well– something could, I think, very positive for the people that were expelled or worse from Cuba that live here. You know, we have people living here that want to go back to Cuba, and they’re very happy with what’s going on.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, last month, Trump signed an executive order to declare a national emergency and establish a tariff system to levy tariffs on any country that provides oil to Cuba.
The order points to Cuba’s “extraordinary actions that harm and threaten the United States” and alignment with US adversaries.
After signing the order, Trump described Cuba as “a failed nation” that “will not be able to survive.”
This came after numerous threats against Cuba, and reports suggesting that Cuba could be Trump’s next target for regime change following the capture of Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro last month.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio has also suggested that Cuba will face the same fate as Venezuela, saying the Cuban regime is “in a lot of trouble.”
President Trump on Friday handed a US Marine a Presidential Challenge Coin before departing to Texas.
Trump landed at Joint Base Andrews en route to Corpus Christi, Texas, to promote his “drill baby drill” energy agenda.
The president is traveling to Texas to deliver remarks at the Port of Corpus Christi.
“Before departing to Texas, President Trump gave the Marine a presidential challenge coin for his last flight,” White House assistant Margo Martin said.
WATCH:
Full White House statement on Trump’s visit to Corpus Christi:
As President Donald J. Trump travels to Corpus Christi, Texas, today, he returns to a state that is thriving under Republican leadership — powered by American energy dominance, bold tax relief, secure borders, and massive private sector investments.
Under President Trump, Texas families are seeing real results in lower costs, higher wages, safer streets, and more jobs — with much more to come as the Trump Administration works tirelessly to repair the damage of the Biden era.
Lower energy costs are putting money back in Texans’ pockets.
Diesel prices have also dropped significantly, down 38% from the Biden-era record high.
Tax relief is boosting take-home pay for Texas families.
1) Thanks to President Trump’s and Republicans’ Working Families Tax Cuts Act, the average Texas family is saving $4,009 on their taxes this year.
2) Texans stand to see wages rise by up to $6,900 per person over the next several years.
3)Tax reforms will protect 580,000 Texas jobs in the coming years.
4)Texas is receiving an investment of more than $281 million in rural health care thanks to Republicans — strengthening communities across the state.
It’s becoming more affordable to live in Texas.
Overall, the average home price in Texas is down 2.4% over the past year.
Texas is home to three of the top 20 metro areas with the largest number of illegal aliens — all of which have seen homes become more affordable amid President Trump’s mass deportation agenda.
In the Dallas-Fort Worth area, the median home listing price is down nearly 4% over the past year.
In the Houston metro area, the median home listing price is down 3% over the past year.
In the Austin metro area, the median home listing price is down 8% over last year.
Rent prices are falling in cities across Texas, including Austin (the “sharpest decline” among large metro areas), San Antonio, Waco, McAllen, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston, El Paso, and more.
The Trump Administration has taken thousands of dangerous criminal illegal aliens off Texas’s streets.
Just last week, an illegal alien with a conviction for bodily injury to a child under 12-years-old and an illegal alien with a conviction for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon were arrested in Harris County.
Last weekend, an illegal alien from Mexico with a conviction for indecency with a child was arrested in Tarrant County and an illegal from Grenada with a conviction for indecent assault was arrested in Houston.
Major investments are creating jobs and economic opportunity across the state, with companies committing billions to Texas projects.
Just this week, MP Materials announced a new $1.25 billion rare earth magnet manufacturing campus in Northlake — expected to create over 1,500 new jobs.
Apple announced it is shifting some production of its Mac Mini to Texas.
FiberLight is investing nearly $500 million for high-capacity network infrastructure in West Texas.
Google is investing $40 billion in Texas, including energy initiatives and new generation capacity.
Abbott Laboratories is investing hundreds of millions in manufacturing and research, including plans to add 100 jobs at its Irving facility.
Texas Instruments is investing more than $60 billion across three manufacturing mega-sites in Texas and Utah, supporting more than 60,000 new U.S. jobs.
Nvidia pledged to produce $500 billion in AI infrastructure in the U.S. over the next four years, with plans to build two factories in Texas.
CesiumAstro is bringing a $500 million expansion, including more than 500 new jobs, to Bee Cave.
NRG Energy is investing $617 million to erect a new natural gas facility at its Greens Bayou plant in Houston.
Eli Lilly announced a $6.5 billion manufacturing facility in Houston — bringing 615 new, high-wage jobs to the area.
Republican Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna believed that the disgraced financier was not merely a predator, but the epicenter of a foreign intelligence-gathering “honey pot” operation, and that key women connected to his network should be questioned as co-conspirators in child sex trafficking.
Based on fresh testimony and files uncovered in the House Oversight Committee’s probe, Luna declared that the notorious sex trafficker was operating a sophisticated “honey pot” intelligence-gathering scheme, likely designed to blackmail powerful politicians and business leaders for economic and political leverage.
Luna, who has been at the forefront of this investigation as part of her role leading a task force on government secrets, didn’t mince words in her post on X:
“Based on our congressional investigation it is my professional opinion that Jeffrey Epstein was running a honey pot operation. I am calling on Oversight to bring these 4 women in for questioning as co-conspirators to child sex trafficking.”
During a fiery press conference following former President Bill Clinton’s closed-door deposition before the House Oversight Committee, Luna elaborated on her findings.
“What I will say is it has become very evident, even in the last 24 hours, through lines of questioning, that Jeffrey Epstein was running an intelligence-gathering operation. In my professional opinion, I do believe it was a honeypot operation,” Luna said.
She went further, suggesting that Epstein’s web extended to targeting high-profile figures like the Clintons themselves for sensitive economic intelligence.
“I do believe that Jeffrey Epstein was targeting many politicians, many influential people, especially in regards to economic policy,” Luna added. “I do believe that it was possible that not just (Bill Clinton), but Secretary Clinton as well as a number of other people were targeted.”
But Luna didn’t stop at vague accusations. She named names, calling out four women she believes were active participants in Epstein’s child sex trafficking network, not victims.
“I do believe that there’s a list of individuals who did engage in trafficking, were given these plea deals, and I’m going to name those individuals right now. The first one would be Leslie Groff, the second one, Sarah Kellen. The third one, Nadia Marcinkova. And the fourth one, Adriana Ross. All of these women engaged in the trafficking of minors as adults. They were working and complicit with Jeffrey Epstein’s operation. In my opinion, they are not to be given victim status because they did partake in harming young girls.
In my opinion, they are not to be given victim status because they did partake in harming young girls. I remember seeing in some of the files that some of these girls were as young as 10 or 11 years old.
And so, obviously, we have a lot of work to do. But I did want to come and give an update and let you know that President Clinton, as of right now, is cooperative and answering all of our questions, and that it leads me to believe that if we can remove the partisan nature of this investigation, we actually might be able to get justice.
And so, I will be calling on the Oversight Committee to bring in those four individuals that I just listed. We will continue to conduct the investigation and provide updates shortly for all of you.”
WATCH:
It can be recalled that Alex Acosta, who served as U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida from June 2005 to June 2009 under President George W. Bush, previously claimed he was told to back off Epstein because “he belonged to intelligence.”
During transition interviews, Trump’s former Labor Secretary Alex Acosta revealed that he was informed Jeffrey Epstein “belonged to intelligence,” that the case was “above his pay grade,” and that he was instructed to “leave it alone.”
In a July 2020 C-SPAN clip, Acosta clarified that he never directly confirmed Epstein was an intelligence asset. He simply repeated what he was told.
In 2018, The Gateway Pundit reported that Jeffrey Epstein was not just protected by federal authorities but may have actively worked as an informant for the FBI under former Director Robert Mueller.
According to the uncovered documents released under a successful Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit:
“On 9/11/08, case agent advised writer that Epstein is currently being prosecuted by the State of Florida and is complying with all conditions of his please with the State of Florida. Epstein has also provided information to the FBI as agreed upon. Case agent advised that no federal prosecution will occur in this matter as long as Epstein continues to uphold his agreement with the State of Florida. Case agent also advised that no further forfeiture assistance will be required for this case. Case agent is requested to contact writer in the event this matter moves forward on a federal level.”

Baltimore seafood restaurant Jimmy’s Famous Seafood is going viral once again after nuking the New York Times and the local Baltimore Sun for their biased reporting on the Team USA Men’s Olympic hockey team’s victory.
This comes after Jimmy’s offered a viral response to the Huff Post’s reporting on the Olympic games and the psychological terror you should feel, rooting for your country while Trump is in office. “Go f*ck yourself,” the restaurant wrote on Sunday following Team USA’s historic win, gaining the restaurant national spotlight for speaking on behalf of Americans who love their country.
The New York Times apparently didn’t get the memo, claiming in an editorial that the team won the gold medal but “lost the room” when they took a congratulatory call from the President of the United States and decided to celebrate their win at the White House.
“It’s a costly image. What they’ve lost won’t appear in a record book, and in a few years, the appearance will be a faint memory to most. But during a time in which every action seems consequential, they handed over the power of unity. Their triumph is now attached to Trump. His track record suggests it won’t be used to celebrate everyone. It is more likely to be framed as dominance than shared aspiration,” Times Athletic columnist Jerry Brewer wrote of Team USA’s visit to the White House and attendance at Trump’s State of the Union speech.
Jimmy’s Famous Seafood took to the comment section with another “go f*ck yourself” post.
Two days later, in the reader commentary section published by the Baltimore Sun, one reader expressed condemnation for Jimmy’s Famous Seafood for using “foul language” against the anti-American propagandists in the media.
Hilariously, the reader says she has an issue with Jimmy’s language and the nationwide support, writing, “I am a 69-year-old female who was told by a younger male on Tuesday morning to ‘go f*** yourself’ simply because I asked him to slow down on our neighborhood road.” She goes on to describe how she berated the driver for going six miles per hour over the speed limit before he responded, “f*ck you” and “go f*ck yourself.”
“I see now why he thought it was totally OK to tell that to an older woman trying to get cans out of the roadway,” she writes, blaming Jimmy’s for her dispute with a random person.
Jimmy’s responded to the Karen with its now-famous three-word response: “Go f*ck yourself.”
Caleb Townsend of the Baltimore Sun later issued the paper’s pathetic rebuttal outside of the restaurant, which he was ostensibly not allowed into, whining about the restaurant’s rhetoric. Townsend pleads with the restaurant to give him “a thoughtful dialogue, a good conversation, one free from profanity.”
WATCH:
Hi, I’m Caleb Townsend with the Baltimore Sun, and today, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood told us to go f*ck ourselves. Here’s how it happened. Jimmy’s loves the Olympics, and they love America, some people might argue too much, like the Huffington Post. They recently wrote an article about the complex feelings that some Americans have expressing patriotism in a time where people feel it’s hard to be patriotic. Jimmy’s Famous Seafood responded thoughtfully and tactfully. Just kidding. Then, we at the Baltimore Sun published a letter that a reader wrote to us. The article, entitled “Foul Language is Never Helpful,” was published on our website. Surely, Jimmy would respond thoughtfully, and– Oh, they didn’t? Oh, they said it again? Well, Jimmy, if you’re seeing this, I want to have a thoughtful dialogue, a good conversation, one free from profanity, and hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. Your move, crab man.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Jimmy’s response to the Huffington Post on Sunday after the far-left rag trashed the Team USA Olympic hockey team and Americans who celebrated their victory.
“If waving the American flag or chanting ‘USA!’ turns you off right now, you’re not alone,” the paper wrote on X, sharing an article about how Americans would be right to feel “national shame.”
And Jimmy’s responded with an absolute gem, telling the paper to “go f*ck yourself” in a comment that received over 17 million views and 100 times more likes than HuffPost’s original tweet.

U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee has urged staffers at the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem to leave today.
In an email sent out to staff at the U.S. embassy, Huckabee wrote, “Those wishing to take AD (Authorized Departure) should do so TODAY.”
Huckabee further wrote, “While there may be outbound flights over the coming days, there may not be.”
The Ambassador’s announcement comes as tension with Iran has increased in recent weeks, as the U.S. military has built up its largest force of warships and aircraft in the Middle East since the Iraq War.
On February 27, 2026, the Department of State authorized the departure of non-emergency U.S. government personnel and family members of U.S. government personnel from Mission Israel due to safety risks.
The U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem implemented “authorized departure” status for non-essential personnel and family members, which means that eligible staffers can leave the country voluntarily at government expense.
The U.S. Embassy in Israel on Friday told its staff that it could leave the country and urged anyone considering departure to do so immediately.
In an email U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee urged staff considering departure to do so quickly, advising them to to focus initially on getting any flight out of Israel and to then make their way to Washington.
“Those wishing to take AD should do so TODAY,” Huckabee wrote, using an acronym for “authorized departure.”
Huckabee’s statement came shortly after Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced he is scheduled to visit Israel on Monday regarding matters relating to Iran and the 20-Point Peace Plan for Gaza.
The U.S. Embassy is not the only embassy calling for its citizens to depart the region.
Reuters reported that China, on Friday, urged its citizens in Iran to evacuate immediately, citing escalating tensions between the United States and Iran.
Vice President JD Vance, on Thursday, told The Washington Post on the topic of potential armed conflict with Iran, shared, “I think we all prefer the diplomatic option, but it really depends on what the Iranians do and what they say.”
Last Thursday, President Trump threatened to escalate military tensions with Iran within the next ten days if they don’t make a deal regarding deconstructing their nuclear enrichment program.
The 10-day warning Trump gave will end on March 1.
Pro-Trump lawyers are reportedly trying to persuade President Trump and his team to go all-out to secure America’s elections this year by invoking an unprecedented executive order, and they may soon get their wish.
As The Daily Mail reported, attorneys with ties to Trump are talking with the White House over an election plan, citing “an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.”
Attorneys close to Donald Trump are urging the President to declare a national emergency that would allow him to take sweeping powers over the crucial midterm elections.
Peter Ticktin, who has known Trump since they attended New York Military Academy together and represented him in court, is part of a group of pro-Trump lawyers in communication with the White House over the election plan.
He and his allies argue in a 17-page draft of a presidential executive order that supposed Chinese interference in the 2020 presidential election allows Trump to declare such an emergency.
‘There is now clear and compelling evidence from court cases and forensic analysis that these threats have not been mitigated but instead have intensified,’ the draft reads. ‘This constitutes an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States.’
As The Mail notes, this order would allow President Trump to mandate voter ID nationwide, ban vote-by-mail, and require ballots to be counted by hand.
ABC News reports that Trump has reviewed the order, and the lawyers expect executive action soon.
This news also comes as the SAVE Act, a critical election security bill Trump is backing, has stalled in the Senate thanks to a handful of RINOS sabotaging the MAGA movement in its quest to stop Democrats from stealing any more federal elections.
A White House official responded to the report about an election executive order, telling ABC that “a variety of outside advocates who want to share their policy ideas with the President. Any speculation about policies the President may or may not announce is just that — speculation.”
White House Deputy Press Secretary Abigail Jackson also issued a non-denial when asked for comment.
“President Trump is committed to ensuring that Americans have full confidence in the administration of elections, and that includes totally accurate and up-to-date voter rolls free of errors and unlawfully registered non-citizen voters,” Jackson told The Washington Post.
“The President has urged Congress to pass the SAVE Act and other legislative proposals that would establish a uniform standard of photo ID for voting, prohibit no-excuse mail-in voting, and end the practice of ballot harvesting,” she added.
One question that remains unanswered is how such an order can survive legal challenges. Changes to voting laws have generally been implemented via the legislative process.
One exception to this rule was during COVID, when states ignored their own constitutions to push mass mail-in voting via executive action in some cases.
But Ticktin remains undeterred, citing the critical moment our nation faces.
“We have a situation where the President is aware that there are foreign interests that are interfering in our election processes,” Ticktin explained to The Washington Post. “That causes a national emergency where the President has to be able to deal with it.”
“That causes a national emergency where the President has to be able to deal with it.”

The age of AI is in full swing, but for some workers, it is ushering in uncertainty rather than opportunity.
Jack Dorsey, founder of Twitter and now CEO of Block, has announced that Block will lay off nearly half its employees to implement more AI tools across its tech platforms.
Block, which owns Cash App and Square, will cut 4,000 employees, which makes up 40% of its employees.
In a memo issued by Dorsey, he wrote, “We’re reducing our organization by nearly half, from over 10,000 people to just under 6,000.”
Block CFO Amrita Ahuja followed up on Dorsey’s memo by adding, “We see an opportunity to move faster with smaller, highly talented teams using AI to automate more work.”
we’re making @blocks smaller today. here’s my note to the company.
####
today we’re making one of the hardest decisions in the history of our company: we’re reducing our organization by nearly half, from over 10,000 people to just under 6,000. that means over 4,000 of you are…
Block, the financial technology company that owns Square, Cash App and Tidal, said on Thursday that it was cutting 40 percent of its work force as it embraced new artificial intelligence tools.
About 4,000 employees are expected to lose their jobs, Jack Dorsey, the company’s top executive, said in a social media post.
The cuts, made as Block reported strong financial results for its most recent quarter, are perhaps the most striking example so far of a technology company’s making plans to eliminate employees because of A.I.
Mr. Dorsey wrote in his post that he wanted to act decisively rather than “cut gradually over months or years as this shift plays out.”
Despite Block announcing cuts, Wall Street saw the move as a buy signal, and stocks surged 20%.
Block just cut 40% of their workforce because of AI and were rewarded with a massive stock surge. Other companies are going to want to recreate this. Job loss could get very ugly, very quick. https://t.co/ScdtQKHIcW
Harvard Business Review reported that CEOs from Fortune 500 companies, such as Ford, Salesforce, Amazon, and JPMorgan Chase, have stated that in the near future, many white-collar jobs at their companies will be replaced with AI.
Vorschau ansehenMost of the fraud uncovered in Minnesota has taken place since Tim Walz became governor. Democrats wanted him to be our vice president.
Billions of dollars of fraud occurred under Tim Walz’s watch, and now it turns out that autism centers did not even require licensing and that state officials were not allowed to conduct unannounced inspections.
The question now is whether Tim and other Minnesota officials were simply ignorant of what was happening, or whether they actively supported, enabled, or even participated in this fraud of epic proportions.
Money tied to Minnesota’s Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention program surged from about $1.7 million in Medicaid reimbursements in 2017 to nearly $229 million in 2024 through late November, with cumulative spending approaching $700 million. That amounts to roughly a 300-fold increase in less than a decade, or about a 30,000 percent rise. While officials cite expanded autism diagnoses and broader access to services, the scale and speed of the increase have raised serious concerns.
Critics argue that a significant portion of this explosion in spending reflects fraud and lax oversight, noting that the growth occurred under Democratic governors. They contend that unchecked fraud drives long-term spending obligations higher, ultimately pressuring the state to raise taxes.
The figures come from Minnesota Department of Human Services data reported by the Minnesota Star Tribune following FBI raids on multiple autism centers as part of investigations into alleged large-scale fraud schemes.
The investigation overlapped with the Feeding Our Future case, in which 70 people were charged with defrauding a federal child nutrition program, and at least a dozen defendants were connected to autism centers.
Prosecutors allege that some parents received kickbacks, which became central to the scandal. Companies such as Smart Therapy LLC in Minneapolis and Star Autism Center in St. Cloud were accused of paying parents between $300 and $1,500 per month in cash to enroll their children.
In exchange, centers billed Medicaid for more than 40 hours per week of one-on-one therapy that was either not provided or performed by untrained 18-year-old relatives with no background in autism care. Authorities also allege widespread billing for “ghost” services, including therapy sessions that never occurred or for implausible numbers of hours.
In the Smart Therapy case, owner Asha Farhan Hassan pleaded guilty in December 2025 to a $14 million autism fraud scheme, admitting to using unqualified high school graduates as behavioral technicians and billing for maximum allowable hours even when no care was provided.
A state-commissioned Optum report later flagged 90% of the claims reviewed as problematic, including those from companies lacking basic operational details such as phone numbers or websites.
The latest development centers on licensing. Before the scandal, Minnesota did not require autism centers to hold a specific state license; providers only had to enroll as Medicaid providers. Under Minnesota Statute 256B.0949, individuals could serve as Level III providers with minimal qualifications: being 18 years old, holding a high school diploma or GED or fluency in a non-English language, completing brief online training modules, and being hired by an enrolled agency.
Lawmakers raised concerns that oversight relied on Qualified Supervising Professionals, but investigations revealed that supervision sometimes existed only on paper. Level III workers were allegedly left alone with children or were relatives billing Medicaid for time spent providing little or no therapeutic services.
After the Feeding Our Future scandal, Gov. Tim Walz and the Department of Human Services identified 14 Medicaid service categories as high risk due to explosive spending growth. Of those 14 programs, six still do not require licensing, a gap lawmakers say made fraud easier to commit. And yet, prior to DHS designating EIDBI as high risk, the state was not legally permitted to conduct unannounced site visits at roughly 500 autism centers statewide.
Now that licensing is required, committee members have expressed frustration over the slow pace of compliance. Of more than 500 previously unlicensed centers, only six have applied ahead of the May 31 deadline.
So far, it does not appear that Tim Walz has been implicated. However, one has to ask how such rampant fraud could be occurring under his nose and expanding at exponential rates under his watch without him knowing. Furthermore, while the state claims to have launched investigations, the lid was blown off this mountain of fraud by content creator Nick Shirley when he uncovered billions in daycare fraud, which brought national attention to the rest of it.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has been clear that pushing DEI will not be tolerated in the military or among groups hoping to maintain relationships with the Pentagon. Now, Scouting America, formerly known as the Boy Scouts, will alter several policies to maintain its relationship.
On February 3rd, Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell announced that Scouting America was working with the Department of War on reforms to end DEI and woke gender ideology.
Parnell wrote, “From Day One at the War Department, we have made it very clear: No more DEI at DoW. Zero tolerance.”
“As a result, over the past several months, the Department of War has been reviewing its relationship with Scouting America—formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America. A great organization, that has — in many ways — lost its way.”
“On January 21st, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14173: “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity,” terminating radical DEl preferencing in federal contracting. All of our affiliations must meet this standard.
But, for more than a decade now, Scouting America’s leadership has made decisions that run counter to the values of this administration and this Department of War, including an embrace of DEl and other social justice, gender-fluid ideological stances. This is unacceptable.”
“Our review of the DoW’s financial assistance and partnership with Scouting America, including its quadrennial National Jamboree celebration, has been rigorous and ongoing. Scouting America remains far from perfect, but they have firmly committed to a return to core principles. Back to God and country—immediately!”
“Scouting America and the Department of War are near a final agreement where we believe we can continue our partnership with Scouting America, as long as the organization rapidly implements the common-sense, core value reforms. They are on the clock, and we are watching.”
STATEMENT:
From Day One at the War Department, we have made it very clear: No more DEI at DoW. Zero tolerance.
As a result, over the past several months, the Department of War has been reviewing its relationship with Scouting America—formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America.…
On Friday, Secretary of War Hegseth announced that Scouting America will alter several policies, including a requirement that members use “biological sex at birth and not gender identity.”
Hegseth shared on X, “For more than a century, Boy Scouts of America prepared over 130 million American boys to make moral and ethical choices, not just during their formative years, but for a lifetime as they grew into men. The first few words of the Scout oath exemplify this, quote, ‘On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country.'”
“The Boy Scouts are embedded in our communities. They’re sponsored by community organizations, service clubs, and churches. Many Boy Scouts have gone on to senior leadership positions in their communities and business in our nation’s military and has elected representatives in local, state, and national office.”
“Six Boy Scouts have been elected President of the United States. Eleven of the twelve men to walk on the moon? Boy Scouts. Boy Scout training focused on responsible citizenship, character and leadership development, patriotism, personal fitness, self-reliance, faith, and a wide range of outdoor skills. It was a great program, and this department had a close relationship with the Scouts almost since its inception, as many troops meet on military bases.”
“After 2012, however, the Boy Scouts lost their way, and a once great organization became gravely wounded. Diversity, equity, and inclusion, DEI, crept in. The name was changed to Scouting America. Girls were accepted. The focus on God as the ruler of the universe was watered down to include openness to humanism and Earth-centered pagan religions. Scouting became an organization that no longer supported and celebrated boys.”
“They even welcomed the destructive myth of gender fluidity and transgenderism to infiltrate their membership. Along the way, standards were lowered and merit destroyed in favor of an insidious, radical, woke ideology that is anti- America and anti-American.”
“The result? Membership cratered. Americans didn’t want this. In 1970, 10 million boys participated in Boy Scouts. Currently, less than 1 million boys and girls participate. Further, many of these community organizations that once supported Scout troops withdrew their support. And Scouting America, the parent organization, filed for bankruptcy protection.”
“The changes Scouting America made since 2012 have also jeopardized the relationship with this department. And I was very seriously considering ending our support of scouting altogether. We have a Department to protect, after all. Beyond that, the policies Scouting America have in place violate President Trump’s executive order, 14173, entitled ‘Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-based Opportunities.’ But before making this big change, I decided to meet with the current scouting leadership to convey our deep concerns.”
“Based on that face-to-face conversation and subsequent conversations, Scouting America agreed to make several key reforms. Let me briefly highlight a few of them.”
“First, Scouting America has agreed to comply immediately with the provisions of Executive Order 14173. This includes reviewing and replacing politicized, divisive, and discriminatory language throughout the organization, programs, and all publications. No more DEI, zero.”
“Second, the quote, ‘Citizen in Society’ merit badge that encouraged scouts to explore diversity, equity, inclusion, and identity, they always mask it under a name that sounds great, but it’s doing something else, and then ask those scouts to engage in activism on those topics. That badge has been discontinued.”
“Third, Scouting America Scouting will modify its policy to make clear that membership will be based solely on biological sex at birth and not gender identity. That means that the application, any application, will have only two sex designations, male and female, and the application must match the applicant’s birth certificate. Scouting will also make clear that biological boys and girls will not be allowed to occupy or share intimate spaces together, toilets, showers, tents, anywhere like that.”
“Fourth, Scouting America will honor those who serve by waiving the registration fees for children of active duty, guard, and reserve families. Should have happened a long time ago.”
“Fifth, in partnership with the War Department, Scouting America will introduce a new military service merit badge. These and other changes that Scouting America’s leadership committed to, in that room right over there, will hopefully result in a rededication to the foundational ideals that have defined scouting for generations. Duty to God and country, leadership, character, and service. However, as President Reagan famously said, ‘trust but verify.'”
“This agreement is new, and the Department’s support for Scouting America is contingent on them making substantial progress toward reaching these and many other positive changes in the next six months. At that time, we’ll vigorously review progress and decide whether or not to continue our support.”
“The onus is squarely on Scouting America to deliver. If we’re unsatisfied with Scouting America’s progress toward and commitment to the agreed upon reforms, we will find them in violation of the President’s Executive Order and cease our support. We hope that doesn’t happen, but it could.”
“Ideally, I believe the Boy Scouts should go back to being the Boy Scouts, as originally founded, a group that develops boys into men, maybe someday. There are also additional youth and boys organizations, groups like Trail Life USA and Awana Clubs, that are already compliant with President Trump’s Executive Order that the department may eventually support as well.”
“But we’re watching and we’re watching closely. We look forward to providing you with updates after our six-month review, and wish the best to Scouting America.”

Former President Bill Clinton on Friday released his opening statement ahead of his testimony on deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Bill Clinton is testifying before the House Oversight Committee on his connections to Jeffrey Epstein.

Despite the overwhelming evidence of Clinton’s connections to Epstein, the former president remained defiant in his opening statement and insisted he did nothing wrong.

A superseding indictment was returned on Friday in the Don Lemon Minnesota church siege case.
The superseding indictment is currently under seal, however, local media is reporting that at least nine more people were taken into federal custody and charged on Friday.
It is unclear who was arrested. The names have not been released.
KARE 11 confirmed at least nine more people were arrested in connection with a St. Paul church protest last month that already saw the high-profile arrests of journalists Georgia Fort and Don Lemon, as well as attorney and activist Nekima Levy Armstrong.
KARE’s Lou Raguse said sources reported those arrested were taken to the federal courthouse in St. Paul, where they’re expected to make their first court appearances Friday afternoon.
As of 9:30 a.m., officials had not released any identifying information about those arrested.
Lemon, Fort, Armstrong, and several other activists were taken into custody by federal authorities and subsequently released in the days following the protest. At least five of them have now pleaded not guilty to federal civil rights charges.
At least nine people, including former CNN host Don Lemon were previously charged with 18 USC 241, Conspiracy to Deprive Rights and 18 USC 248, Violation of the FACE Act.
The indictment said Don Lemon “oppressed, threatened, and intimidated the Church’s congregants and pastors by physically occupying most of the main aisle and rows of chairs near the front of the Church, engaging in menacing and threatening behavior…”
The indictment also alleges Don Lemon “physically obstructed” congregants as they “attempted to exit and/or move about within the Church.”
Last month, Don Lemon livestreamed as anti-ICE protestors stormed a church in St. Paul because the pastor supposedly worked for ICE.
“This is the beginning of what’s going to happen here,” Lemon said as anti-ICE protestors shouted down the pastor and harassed parishioners.
House Oversight Committee members on Friday said Hillary Clinton was totally out of control during her deposition during remarks to reporters ahead of Bill Clinton’s testimony on Friday.
Chairman James Comer said Hillary Clinton deferred to her husband more than 10 times.
“When asked questions related to Epstein and Maxwell, Hillary Clinton deferred to her husband nearly a dozen times,” Comer said.
“Today, former President Bill Clinton is sitting down with the House Oversight Committee and answering questions under oath,” Comer added.
Congresswoman Nancy Mace said Hillary Clinton was screaming and unhinged during her testimony on Epstein and the transcript will prove it.
The transcript and video of Hillary Clinton’s deposition will likely be released on Friday.
“You’ll see how she responded. Screaming…she was unhinged. I hope President Clinton is less unhinged today than his wife was yesterday,” Mace said.

Everyone already knew former President Bill Clinton was a loathsome creep, but former Fox News host Megyn Kelly provided a disturbing new reminder for anyone who, for some reason, forgot.
On Thursday, Kelly spoke with her former Fox News colleague, Tucker Carlson, on her podcast and shared a shocking new photo of Clinton.
As Kelly explained, two of her friends were at a bar with Slick Willie when he approached them. He is seen staring down the chest of one of the young women (presumably looking at her breasts) and grabbing the side boob of another.
This occurred a year after he was impeached. And most shocking of all, Hillary and Chelsea were there to witness the whole thing!
“This is my own piece of evidence where he wasn’t shamed at all,” Kelly told Carlson. “Where a friend of mine and her friend at the time, this was in 1999, were in a bar and Bill Clinton was there.”
“Look at this,” she continued. “He is looking down the chest of my friend Meg Florence, and that’s my other friend Abby Ritman. He basically got his hand on her side boob.”
“And you probably know this place, The Bombay Club in D.C. He was there with his wife and daughter!”

This shocking photo emerges just as Clinton is scheduled to testify regarding his ties to deceased p*dophile Jeffrey Epstein. And they run VERY deep.
Epstein reportedly visited the Oval Office at least 17 times when Clinton was President.
Clinton flew on Epstein’s infamous Lolita Express multiple times.
A witness said Clinton not only spent time on Epstein’s p*dophile island with Epstein and his procurer, Ghislaine Maxwell, but there were also two young girls present.
Clinton was photographed with his arm around one of Epstein’s sex slaves and getting a neck massage from another.
In the book “Citizen,” Clinton admits that he flew on Epstein’s private jet. However, he claimed the plane was used solely for business purposes, not for pleasure.
When Clinton testifies today, Republicans had better confront them on these damning facts. If not, the GOP will be exercising gross negligence.
Five white male Philadelphia police officers have filed a federal class-action lawsuit against the City of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Police Department, and several senior officials, alleging they were denied promotions due to their race and sex under the department’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) policies.
The lawsuit, filed by America First Legal (AFL), claims the officers were passed over for captain and lieutenant positions in November in favor of lower-ranked non-white or female candidates, despite higher civil-service exam scores, strong service records, positive performance reviews, and extensive law enforcement experience.
The plaintiffs, Christopher Bloom, Kollin Berg, Joseph Musumeci, Marc Monachello, and Leroy Ziegler Jr., argue that the city’s “Rule of Five” policy, adopted in 2021 after the death of George Floyd, allows officials to bypass merit-based rankings to prioritize racial and gender diversity.
This replaced the previous “Rule of Two,” which required selections from the top two candidates based on exam scores, seniority, and education.
According to the complaint, the policy was implemented to increase minority and female representation in supervisory roles at the expense of white men.
In the 2025 promotions, 10 officers were elevated to the rank of captain and 14 to lieutenant. The suit alleges that only half of the captain promotions went to white males, despite white males making up 70 percent of the top 10 candidates and 73 percent of the top 15 by test scores.
Specific examples include three plaintiffs ranked 8th to 13th on the captain list being bypassed for a candidate ranked 17th, and two on the lieutenant list (27th and 28th) overlooked while 15 lower-ranked candidates were selected, including those as low as 30th and 34th.
The lawsuit seeks declaratory and injunctive relief, as well as potential damages, and aims to represent all white male officers affected since 2021.
AFL Senior Counsel Nick Barry stated in a press release, “Federal civil-rights law prohibits employers from making promotion decisions based on race or sex.”
Barry continued, “Put simply, employers cannot use protected characteristics to override merit. Promotions must be based on excellence, experience, and performance, not on the race or sex of the candidate.”
The press release added,”AFL is committed to rooting out and destroying DEI in the United States, and it will sue any public or private employer that uses illegal race or sex preferences in hiring or promotions. Hiring and other employment practices must be based on merit and excellence. AFL will fight on behalf of American workers to ensure that individuals are hired and promoted based on their skills and not their race or sex.”
Former television personality and longtime Memphis jurist Judge Joe Brown has officially been removed from the Republican primary ballot in the 2026 Shelby County mayoral race.
According to Shelby County GOP Vice Chairman Luke Cymbal, the state party made the decision Thursday to strike Brown from the certified list of Republican candidates eligible to compete in the upcoming primary election, citing his past voting record as failing to meet the party’s criteria for bona fide Republican status, Action News 5 reported.
JUST IN: Judge Joe Brown has been removed from the Republican Party primary ballot in Memphis. Judge Joe was running for county mayor. The GOP say he’s not a bona-fide Republican.
Judge Brown, who announced his campaign for county mayor earlier this month, had sought to run under the Republican banner in the May 5 primary. But party leadership intervened and ruled that he failed to meet internal membership standards required to qualify as an official Republican candidate.
Under Tennessee Republican Party bylaws, the state executive committee has the power to determine who is and isn’t a “real” Republican. To be considered “bona fide,” a candidate usually must have voted in three of the last four Republican primaries or be “vouched for” by local party leadership.
This effectively bars Brown from appearing on the GOP primary ballot unless a formal appeal is successful.
The Shelby County Republican Party has already thrown its support behind former State Representative John DeBerry as its preferred candidate in the mayoral primary.
It can be recalled that Judge Joe Brown unleashed a torrent of criticism against several high-profile individuals, including John Legend, Fani Willis, Barack Obama, and Joe Biden, whom he referred to as a “lowdown scummy bastard” and “a piece of urban trailer park trash.”
Judge Brown told Dialogue what he really feels about the former California mistress turned politician.
Judge Joe Brown: She’s a piece of sh*t. I was in California. She lacked professional competence, and she worked on it by hiking up her hem line when she needed influence rather than researching. She’s always tried to do the casting couch to get where she wants.
Judge Joe Brown has not yet issued a formal statement regarding a potential legal challenge or an independent run.

For most Americans, it’s been a long cold winter. But as February draws to a close, most of us are dreaming of spring: the flowers, the sun, the warm weather, the chance to get back outside, and – of course – spring cleaning.
Spring cleaning is a rite of passage of the seasons. An opportunity to clean up from winter, put away the snow shovels, and get your house and yard in order. Over the last few years, as more and more Americans have focused on their health and well being, something new has become almost as popular as spring cleaning: a spring cleanse.
Like a spring cleaning that is focused on getting your house and yard in order, a spring cleanse is intended to give your body a reset and prepare yourself for the rest of the year.
A spring cleanse is a perfect opportunity to address an issue facing millions of Americans, but one that is largely ignored by the medical establishment: parasites.
The Threat of Parasites
Before the healthcare bureaucracy’s myopic focus on COVID-19 and other potential pandemics, the Centers for the Disease Control issued a stunning warning about the threat of parasitic diseases here in the United States:
Most people think parasitic diseases occur in poor and developing countries, or are infections they might pick up on a trip to a foreign country. However, parasitic infections also occur in the United States, and in some cases affect millions of people. Often they can go unnoticed, with few symptoms. But many times the infections cause serious illnesses, including seizures, blindness, pregnancy complications, heart failure, and even death. Anyone—regardless of race or economic status—can become infected.
The threat of parasites is just as high today, as it was just five years ago – the only difference is that our healthcare establishment has all but abandoned doing the necessary work of empowering Americans to take control of their health and preventing dangerous healthcare outcomes before they occur.
Fortunately, freedom-fighting doctors like Dr. Peter McCullough are now speaking up about the threats posed by parasites. In a post on his widely-read SubStack, Dr. McCullough says:
While each illness has diagnostic strategies followed by care providers, many patients want to take a proactive stance with respect to parasites. The CDC says the burden of parasitic diseases among Americans is high.
More than 300,000 people living in the United States are infected with Trypanosoma cruzi, the parasite that causes Chagas disease, and more than 300 infected babies are born every year.
There are at least 1,000 hospitalizations for symptomatic cysticercosis per year in the United States.
At least 14 percent of the U.S. population has been exposed to Toxocara, the parasite that causes toxocariasis, and each year at least 70 people—most of them children—are blinded by resulting eye disease.
More than 60 million people in the United States are chronically infected with Toxoplasma gondii, the parasite that causes toxoplasmosis; new infections in pregnant women can lead to birth defects and infections in those with compromised immune systems can be fatal.
Trichomoniasis can cause pregnancy problems and increase the risk of other sexually transmitted infections including HIV. The Trichomonasparasite is extremely common, affecting 3.7 million people in the United States, although it is easily treatable.
Not only is Dr. McCullough sounding the alarm about the threat of parasites, McCullough is also offering Americans the ability to do something about this threat:
Ivermectin and Mebendazole combine to effectively treat parasitic infections.

School officials in Lee County, Florida have taken sweeping disciplinary action against students who abandoned classrooms to participate in coordinated anti-ICE walkout protests earlier this month.
According to district officials, 2,480 students were identified for engaging in disruptive conduct during demonstrations that took place between February 4 and February 6, part of a broader protest movement that involved more than 3,600 students across 14 schools in the county.
And now, discipline is coming down.
School officials confirmed that dozens of Lee County Public School students have already been suspended for their involvement in the demonstrations, with the district warning that more punishments are likely as administrators continue reviewing surveillance footage and eyewitness reports from the protests, Gulf Coast News reported.
Administrators say the disciplinary measures were not handed down for political viewpoints, but rather for violations of the district’s Student Code of Conduct, including leaving class without permission, creating unsafe conditions, and refusing to comply with instructions from school staff.
District officials categorized the violations as follows, according to Gulf Coast News:
2,037 students skipped class or arrived late
393 students committed safety violations
50 students were cited for insubordination or disrespect
Students who left campus during instructional hours, in some cases reportedly jumping fences or exiting through unauthorized areas, created what Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin described as unsafe situations for both themselves and others.
Based on the severity of the infraction and each student’s behavioral history, the district imposed the following consequences:
11 recommendations for reassignment to Success Academy
134 out-of-school suspensions
40 in-school suspensions
43 student conferences
7 parent meetings
208 Level III interventions, including:
Behavior contracts
Loss of extracurricular privileges
Restitution
2,037 warnings and/or assignment zeroes
District officials emphasized that the overwhelming majority of students, 96%, remained in class and complied with school rules during the protests.
“The safety and security of our schools is our top priority,” Carlin stated. “Ninety-six percent of our students adhered to the Student Code of Conduct by remaining in class and focused on their education during the protests.”
Officials also confirmed that additional disciplinary actions may still be forthcoming as administrators continue reviewing surveillance footage and eyewitness reports from the demonstrations.
The investigation remains ongoing.
It has been reported that the teachers’ union might have orchestrated the walkout.

In a recent appearance on “The Benny Show,” Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon issued a stark warning regarding potential immigration fraud committed by Rep. Ilhan Omar.
Dhillon, speaking with host Benny Johnson, highlighted longstanding questions about Omar’s naturalization process and emphasized that fraud in obtaining citizenship could result in denaturalization.
During the interview, Dhillon stated, “It’s a truism of immigration law that if you commit fraud in the course of obtaining your citizenship… if you lie about your marriage status on which your citizenship depends or your familial status or what have you, if you fake any of those documents or you lie that’s a grounds for denaturalization and so I think it’s been credibly alleged that there are serious questions about the circumstances of the paperwork around that naturalization. I’ll just leave it at that.”
Dhillon, who is not directly involved in investigating Omar, noted that the allegations have been well-covered in the press but stressed the importance of policing such matters seriously. She expressed pride in her own naturalized citizenship and argued that it should not be taken lightly.

Omar, who was born in Somalia and became a U.S. citizen in 2000, has long faced scrutiny over the circumstances of her and her brother’s immigration.
Allegations include claims that she married her brother in 2009 to facilitate his immigration, potentially constituting fraud.
Congressional Republicans, including Rep. Nancy Mace, have pushed for subpoenas related to Omar’s records and family ties, but so far, the efforts have been blocked.
“Democrats and Republicans teamed up to kill our motion to subpoena the records,” Rep. Mace said in a press release in January. “Washington did what it always does: protect its own. The American people are sick of backroom deals and selective accountability.”
“If these allegations are true, they raise grave concerns involving potential marriage fraud, immigration fraud, and violations of federal and state law,” Mace continued. “No one, no matter how politically protected, should be above the law.”
More recently, the Justice Department has been investigating Omar’s finances, including a dramatic increase in her net worth since entering Congress.
Trump announced the investigation in January, as part of the broader fraud probes in Minnesota’s Somali community.
In a post to Truth Social on January 26, the president wrote, “a major investigation is going on with respect to the massive 20 Billion Dollar, Plus, Welfare Fraud that has taken place in Minnesota, and is at least partially responsible for the violent organized protests going on in the streets. Additionally, the DOJ and Congress are looking at ‘Congresswoman’ Illhan Omar, who left Somalia with NOTHING, and is now reportedly worth more than 44 Million Dollars. Time will tell all. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT”
Omar has denied all allegations, claiming that they are politically motivated attacks.
Vorschau ansehenNew York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani now has the votes he needs to freeze rents in rent-stabilized apartments, which will cause all other rents to skyrocket.
Mayor Mamdani has the votes to implement his destructive socialist rent-freeze program.
The rent freeze, a day-one promise that critics said was impossible, is likely coming this June through the New York City Rent Guidelines Board (RGB), rather than the City Council or State Legislature.
As of February 2026, Mayor Mamdani reshaped the board by appointing a majority aligned with his campaign pledge to freeze rents for the city’s nearly one million rent-stabilized apartments.
This month, three board members originally appointed under Eric Adams resigned or stepped aside, allowing Mamdani to appoint six members to the nine-member board. That effectively stacked the deck for a June 2026 vote.
While the mayor cannot legally order a rent freeze, his power to appoint board members is his primary lever of control.
Critics, including landlord groups such as the New York Apartment Association, have already signaled potential legal challenges, arguing that the board must base its decision on economic data, such as inflation and building costs, rather than political mandates.
Mayor Mamdani immediately appointed six new members, including a new chair, Chantella McChill.
This gives him a decisive hand-picked majority on the nine-member board much earlier than expected. On the surface, this sounds like a victory for tenants staring at a lease renewal, but in economics, there are no solutions, only trade-offs.
Looking at the data from St. Paul and San Francisco shows that rent freezes not only hurt landlords, but also cause new construction to grind to a halt and units to be removed from the rental market.
In 2021, St. Paul, Minnesota, passed one of the strictest rent-control laws in the United States, a 3 percent cap with no exemption for new construction.
Immediately after the law passed, housing permits in St. Paul dropped by 80 percent, while permits in neighboring Minneapolis, which had no such cap, rose.
Developers and lenders argued that with frozen or capped revenue, they could not secure the bank loans needed to build. By 2022 and 2023, the city was forced to water down the law, exempting new buildings for 20 years just to restart construction.
A well-known 2018 Stanford study analyzed the long-term effects of San Francisco’s rent-control expansion in 1994. While the law kept current tenants in their homes 20 percent more often, it also incentivized landlords to exit the rental market.
Landlords reduced the supply of rental housing by 15 percent by converting apartments into luxury condominiums or tenancies-in-common to escape the regulations.
This reduction in supply drove citywide rents up by 5.1 percent for everyone else. Instead of keeping the city affordable, it accelerated gentrification by replacing middle-income rental units with high-end, owner-occupied housing.
A rent freeze not only reduces costs for renters, it also decreases income for landlords. While socialists are conditioned to view landlords as parasitic enemies, the economic reality is that they are businesspeople who operate to achieve a positive return on investment. That becomes difficult under rent control, which freezes revenue while costs continue to rise.
Last year, insurance premiums for multifamily buildings in New York rose by roughly 12 percent. Electricity prices increased by 10 percent and water by 8.5 percent in 2024, and they continued rising through 2025 and into 2026.
As a result of these cost increases and others, overall operating costs for buildings in New York City rose by 11.5 percent, while revenue to landlords increased by zero percent.
Landlords are already operating on thin profit margins, and those margins evaporate when costs increase but rent does not. The impact appears in cuts to maintenance and repairs.
Painting and plastering, such as repainting hallways or fixing non-structural cracks, are delayed indefinitely. Cleaning services for hallways and lobbies are reduced from daily to weekly or stop entirely, leading to trash buildup and odors. Landscaping and lighting, including replacing burnt-out bulbs or maintaining greenery, fall to the bottom of the list.
Boiler and HVAC service shifts from preventive maintenance to emergency repair. Instead of annual tune-ups to ensure efficiency, landlords wait until the boiler breaks before calling a technician, resulting in more frequent no-heat days for tenants.
Roof and gutter cleaning is neglected, leading to slow leaks that eventually cause mold, which is far more expensive to repair. Elevator service contracts may be reduced and routine inspections skipped, resulting in more frequent “Out of Service” signs.
Property tax accounts for about 30 percent of New York City’s budget. Building values, for resale, lending, and tax assessment, are determined largely by income potential.
When rent is frozen, potential revenue declines and building values fall. That makes it harder or even impossible for landlords to borrow against their properties.
It also makes it more difficult to buy, sell, or finance new construction. At the same time, lower valuations reduce property-tax revenue to the city government.
This creates a revenue hole. A 2025 estimate from the New York Apartment Association suggested that a multi-year rent freeze could cost the city more than $1.3 billion in lost tax revenue over four years due to declining property valuations.
From a renter’s perspective, anyone with a rent-frozen apartment will remain in that unit as long as possible. Consequently, turnover decreases, potentially dropping to near zero. The total supply of apartments available to new tenants shrinks, driving prices up.
In the end, Mamdani’s socialist policy to help renters will cause a shortage of apartments, an increase in average rents, and a collapse of services in rent-frozen buildings, while also decreasing city revenues
Many voted Green as a protest over Gaza, reinforcing Britain’s deepening slide into sectarian politics.
“Family voting” refers to multiple relatives entering a single polling booth together.
The practice is illegal under British electoral law, as it can involve one person influencing or directing how another family member casts their ballot.
Writing on the X platform, Reform leader Nigel Farage noted that incidents of family voting had “reached the highest levels of any election in the past 10 years.”
“This is deeply concerning and raises serious questions about the integrity of the democratic process in predominantly Muslim areas,” he wrote.

NEW: International election observers recorded 32 cases of illegal family voting in the same polling booth across 15 polling stations in Gorton and Denton
"[These are] the highest levels of family voting at any election in our 10 year history of observing elections in the UK"
Democracy Volunteers, an organisation founded by Dr John Ault, and supported by the Conservative peer and psephologist Prof Robert Haywood, deployed four accredited election observers across the constituency. The team attended 22 of the 45 polling stations while polls were open, spending between 30 and 45 minutes in each, working in pairs.
The organisation said its volunteers were looking at people appearing to collude on votes in breach of secret ballot rules, which it called “family voting”, as well as the impact of the requirement for voters to show ID before they were issued with a ballot paper.
…
Democracy Volunteers said that while the enactment of the Ballot Secrecy Act in 2023 made “family voting” more clearly a breach of the secret ballot, signage to discourage the practice was only seen in 45% of the polling stations observed.
The observing team said they saw family voting in 15 of the 22 polling stations observed, reporting 32 cases in total, nine cases in one polling station alone. They observed a sample of 545 voters casting their votes, of which they said 12% either directed or were affected by family voting.

But that does not mean that the magazine can’t be right once in a blue moon – after all, every broken clock is right twice a day.
Yesterday (26), Foreign Affairs reported on the four years of the Russia-Ukraine war with a 3,000-word article with the previously unimaginable title of ‘Ukraine Is Losing the War’.
Kiev is under constant attacks.
The magazine analyzed the US-Russia effort to push Kiev to agree to painful territorial concessions as the price for peace.
The plan is that the entire Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk be recognized as de facto Russian territories, as well as the parts of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia they now occupy.
But Volodymyr Zelensky and his European handlers is pushing back, exasperating US President Donald J. Trump.
So the magazine goes for the obvious takedown:
“Ukraine has been putting up valiant resistance, but its determination cannot disguise the fact that it is losing the war. Russia controls a large swath of Ukrainian territory, and Kiev has little chance of dislodging it, as Ukraine’s failed counteroffensive in 2023 demonstrated.”
Russia is winning the war.
Needless to say, there are still a good deal of coping narratives, like ‘Ukraine is suffering fewer losses than Russians’ – which is bullshit – but overall, we find an inordinate number of painful truths for their Globalist readers.
Things such as: Russia uses young contract soldiers while Ukraine relies heavily on unpopular conscription raids.
It even talks about the taboo subject of the ‘busification,’ the violent grabbing of men off the street and taking them in minivans to the local recruitment office.
“In addition to being unpopular, harsh methods are netting mostly older, less healthy, and clearly unwilling soldiers, many of whom desert at the first opportunity. Those who remain contribute little to the war effort.”
And the mobilization practice of catching people from buses is already 100% established… pic.twitter.com/Q8CQjEAPdc
Foreign Affairs also does not shy from reminding readers that Russia outguns Ukraine in terms of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers, mobile artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, mortars, aircraft… everything.
Not to mention the very relevant fact that Russia’s GDP is ten times greater than Ukraine’s.
“Russia has a large indigenous defense industry and massive military stockpiles, although it, too, has come to rely to some extent on allies, including China and North Korea. Russia may not have all the cards, but it has big battalions and deep pockets.”
The Ukrainian security service is keeping secret all information about the attack of the Russian “Oreshnik” rocket on the facility in Dnipropetrovsk, and the West is in shock to learn that Russia possesses such a weapon

As Russia has now conquered almost a fifth of Ukrainian land, the magazine notes that the complete control of the Donbas (Luhansk and Donetsk) is ‘Moscow’s most consistent territorial objective’.
And they go there, and write that ‘rampant corruption has undermined all aspects of Ukraine’s war effort’. Ouch!
“Russia’s objectives seem reasonably compatible with its capabilities and trends on the battlefield. Ukraine’s objectives, in contrast, seem beyond its reach.”
Russia is using infiltration in small groups to avoid drone attacks.
Finally, Russia has also turned the tables on the drone wars, and now it’s estimated that Moscow has a ten-to-one advantage in drones produced and deployed to the battlefield.
Russia is innovating, developing infantry infiltration tactics against Kiev’s drone warfare.
As for the last bastions in Donetsk, Slavyansk Kramatorsk, the magazine is not optimistic.
“Russia has also demonstrated that even fortress cities can be surrounded, isolated, and cleared through the infiltration of small units, as it has done recently in Chasiv Yar, Huliapole, Pokrovsk, and Siversk — and may yet succeed in doing in Kostiantynivka and Kupyansk.”
And they insist that the loss of ‘the rest’ of Donetsk, would not ‘open the door to Kiev’ for Moscow.
U.S. States use 2 nearly identical systems to check applicant identities. One is used to check Driver’s License applicants, the other is used to check Voter Registration applicants. One is flawed, the other flawless. Guess which is used for our elections.
The Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) is a generic term for a state’s DMV, MVD, and so on. MVA’s use a service called SSOLV (Social Security Online Verification) to verify driver license applicants. When a person needs a license or ID card, they go to an MVA office. Staff create an “ID verification request” by entering all 9 digits of the SS#, name, and DOB into their computer. That data travels through the middleman network AAMVAnet, to the Social Security Administration, and comes right back with a response.
To verify the identities of Voter Registration applicants, states use a nearly identical program called HAVV (Help America Vote Verification). These ID verifications are sent by the same MVA department, also through AAMVAnet, to the same SSA servers. But this system seems handicapped. Only the last 4 digits of the SS# can be used. And it gets worse. (Funfact: Texas pays $480 per year for its AAMVAnet service).
GP has written about the high percentage (28%, 58%) of non-match ID verifications through the HAVV system.
Both SSOLV and HAVV are services provided by the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA). States sign agreements for programs and services provided by AAMVA. In fact, SSOLV and HAVV are so similar that they are often priced as one service and one line item on purchase orders. Note: If a voter applicant doesn’t have a driver’s license, HAVV must be used to check the identity. Some states use HAVV for more than this, including their entire database.
Voter applications come from many sources – online, paper, and applying for gov benefits. Because of this, HAVV verifications are processed differently from SSOLV. Typically, as voter applications come into a Country Recorders’ office, a list is created of those needing ID verification (a batch). These County lists are combined each day by the Secretary of State. This is then given to their MVA, who submits this “batch” at night to the Social Security Administration (SSA). The results are disseminated back to the original locations.
In 2010, the Office of Inspector General (OIG) for the SSA released a report about HAVV. Oddly, that 8-person team looked at only one issue and talked with only 10 states. They found that many HAVV requests are resubmissions of the same person, over and over. In some states, 30-70% of all requests were resubmissions. For instance, a 37-year-old Illinois man was verified 342 times on the same day.
In other examples, Ohio submitted the same voter for verification 1,778 times over an 11-day period in 2008. In 2009, they submitted the same person for verification another 13,824 times. That 77-year-old man had been dead for 4 years. The OIG report shows the same person can be processed 10, 30, even 50 times or more each year. Read on to learn why we are mentioning 18-year-old data.
Of the 10 states questioned by the OIG, 6 didn’t know why resubmissions were happening, and didn’t seem to care. Four states indicated that voter verifications were resubmitted automatically when that voter’s info was changed or updated. In 2008, about 32% of all verification transactions processed through HAVV were resubmissions. In 2009, it was about 20%.
After the report, the Social Security Administration stated it wasn’t necessary to create a process that detects or fixes why a person is submitted repeatedly. From what we can tell, not a single improvement has been made to HAVV since that 2010 report. After many unanswered FOIAs, staff at a Secretary of State office in the Midwest said, “We too are curious about HAVV data. It’s run by the DMV and somewhat of a black box to us.”
AAMVA is a 501(c)3 non-profit. Basically, they are a technology company that sells services to a state’s motor vehicle and law enforcement divisions. They rely on many tech companies for help. Each of the 50 States, DC, and the Canadian provinces make up the 69 members of AAMVA. Their board is mostly MVA administrators from the states. They have 7 committees, 12 subcommittees, and 8 working groups. Of their 190 employees, 120 are IT staff.
AAMVA is a professional organization, and very necessary. They work as the middleman to supply states with the technologies and legal paperwork to make things work. Like an agreement and secure connection to data at the Social Security Administration. They also create standards. Imagine if driver’s licenses were a free-for-all where some states used RIFD, or only QR codes, or didn’t use holograms, or no DOB, and so on.
AAMVA works with federal government partners, including the DOT, NHTSA, DHS, DOJ, and more. As an example, the National Motor Vehicle Title System (NMVTIS) provided by AAMVA is a DOJ program under the Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA). Funfact: Texas pays $311k per year for NMVTIS. AAMVA is involved in everything from autonomous vehicles and facial recognition to license plates and selective service registration (military).
There are over 268 Associate Members of AAMVA. This includes heavyweights like 3M, State Farm, Amazon, PPG, Penske, LexisNexis, Accenture, Google, Infosys, Experian, UL, Apple, and, of course, ERIC. Some members are a concern, like the leftist “Center for DMV Election Resources”. This is a project under the “Institute for Responsive Government” and CEO Sam Oliker-Friedland from WI. Their millions in funding come from hard-left activist groups (see below). We should all look into their MVA involvement, along with others on that long list.
On their website, details about AAMVA programs can only be accessed by jurisdictions and Federal members with logins. The 19 presentations from their 2025 annual conference require logins, too. Their meeting discussed how to create narratives through social media, along with unmanned aerial systems. It seems AAMVA and their partners have big plans for our society, and likely not based on public demand. AAMVA pushes mobile driver’s licenses (mDL), the replacement of our plastic ID cards with phone tech.
AAMVA financials show roughly $45 million from contracts and membership dues each year. Another $9 million comes from grants, and $400k from contributions. They send out about $400k in grants, mostly to cover people’s travel expenses to their events. They provide IT services, network services (communications), software products, and standards. These programs allow members to share driver, vehicle, and identity data with organizations. Below, we cover AAMVA’s primary tools.
Systems Services: This includes Licensing, Vehicle, and Verification tools. They manage all types of driver license data, required skills tests, and detect fraud. Vehicle services like NMVTIS provide processing of titles, segmenting (junk, salvage), and insurance reporting. They have 8 programs verifying identities for driver licenses, passports, driver images, voter registration, lawful status (VLS), and more.
The 8 verification services provided by AAMVA.
A major goal of the left is to have 100% automatic voter registration for every citizen. The billions they spent on GOTV would then probably go towards harvesting. It was Democrats who pushed the Motor Voter law (93’ NVRA) that allows voter registration at MVA offices. The left has positioned itself in and around MVA’s ever since. This is because most policies about voting center around MVA registration systems. Over 24 states already have some form of automatic voter registration at their MVA, unless you opt out!
About half of our states are members of the leftist-founded voter registration non-profit called ERIC. Those states are required to turn over their entire MVA database to ERIC every month, for both licenses and ID cards. Certain legal teams believe this is a violation of DPPA and that ERIC’s access to MVA data is against the law. ERIC supposedly helps clean voter rolls. GP found the opposite happened. ERIC’s entire business approach seems to be modeled after AAMVA.
The 1994 federal Drivers Privacy Protection Act (DPPA) has 13 provisions under which MVA information can be shared without permission. This includes insurance activities, emissions, recalls, law enforcement activities, and so on. The law DOES NOT allow non-profits to use it for voter registration. If not aware, the DOJ recently sued 27 States because they refused to turn over their voter rolls. It’s no coincidence that 23 of those are members of ERIC?
AAMVA heavily pushes a privacy and consumer protection narrative. They knew ERIC would obtain data from some of its member states. No one has access to MVA data like ERIC. Not political parties, not campaigns, no one. So how is it possible that a newly created, 3-employee non-profit could get states join and give up this highly coveted MVA data? Some states even passed laws forcing the purchase of ERIC, year after year? You have to wonder if AAMVA influence was involved.
Associate Members of AAMVA (Partial List)
With all their resources, access to cutting edge technologly, and heavyweight tech partners. Why has AAMVA never stepped up to fix or improve the HAVV system? Nearly their entire business model is about identities and verification. So why has the HAVV system been ignored by everyone? Some say a purposefully broken election system creates all the opportunities for fraud.
Origins of HAVV: The Help America Vote Act was passed in 2002. A couple of years later, Congress asked the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to conduct a feasibility report about the use of SS#’s for voter verification. The EAC assigned the work to a vendor in 2006. Oddly, that contract was cancelled, and the EAC never hired a replacement vendor. In 2007, EAC asked the SSA to conduct the report. The SSA refused, stating it wasn’t their job. Also, they’re not an “independent” commission, as requested by Congress.
Almost 5 years later, by May of 2009, the report hadn’t even been started. Since its inception, and every step of the way, the HAVV program has been a broken and neglected stepchild. The OIG’s conclusion in 2010: EAC should get that damn report done, give it to Congress, and let everyone know the “RISKS OF PROVIDING A HIGH RATE OF FALSE POSITIVES OR FALSE NEGATIVES TO THE STATES”.
Blaze TV host Sara Gonzales decided to pay a visit to Rep. Ilhan Omar’s office on Friday to deliver her a one-way ticket back to Somalia.
Armed with a one-way ticket to Somalia on the fictional “Mogadishu Airlines,” a commemorative photo of Omar and her alleged “brother-husband,” and some bananas and rice for the ride, Gonzales delivered a prank that’s already going viral on X.
In the video, Gonzales is standing outside Omar’s DC congressional office, explaining her gifts.
“We’re here in front of Ilhan Omar’s office and decided to just bring her a one-way ticket back to Somalia on Mogadishu Airlines,” Gonzales says, while all smiles.
“Go home. Don’t come back.”
Noting that it’s a long trip, and she’s heard Somalis are all about bananas and rice, she holds up the snack she prepared for her travels.
Gonzales also holds up a framed photograph of Omar and her brother.
“Bring your picture… especially your brother-husband. I think that’s who that is, right, Ilhan?”

Gonzales slid the ticket under the door and left the gifts neatly placed nearby.
The “brother-husband” reference alludes to longstanding allegations that Omar married her brother, Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, in 2009 to facilitate his immigration to the U.S.
Gonzales’ post racked up over 52,000 views, nearly 4,000 likes, and hundreds of reposts and replies within hours.
Omar’s office has not yet responded to the video.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Gonzales was also kicked out of the Democrats’ State of the Union counter-event for calling Joy Reid a loser as she introduced Kilmar Abrego Garcia on Wednesday.
The financial problems facing The Washington Post just keep on mounting.
Despite aggressive staff cuts and the backing of billionaire proprietor Jeff Bezos, the paper lost an additional $100 million in 2025, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The company also posted losses exceeding $100 million last year, deepening a multiyear downturn that recently led to sweeping layoffs.
The paper also lost roughly $100 million in 2024 and $77 million in 2023, continuing a trend of mounting red ink.
Earlier this month, the company cut approximately 30 percent of its staff in an effort to reset operations and reduce costs.
A staggering statement from former Washington Post editor Marty Baron: "This ranks among the darkest days in the history of one of the world's greatest news organizations." pic.twitter.com/xWQrN8B1P4
At a staff meeting on Wednesday, acting CEO and publisher Jeff D’Onofrio and executive editor Matt Murray addressed employees for the first time since the layoffs.
D’Onofrio said the organization’s expenses outpaced revenue between 2022 and 2025, citing a rapid hiring surge in previous years.
According to remarks shared by attendees, the number of stories published has dropped 42 percent since 2020, while newsroom costs in 2025 were 16 percent higher than five years earlier.
Murray, who took over as executive editor in mid-2024, acknowledged the severity of the situation.
“We don’t want or need to do every story or jump on everything that happens,” Murray told staff.
“We’re not a paper of record; there’s no such thing anymore in today’s world.”
He added that the goal is to be “distinctive, urgent, must-read with every chance we have.”
D’Onofrio, appointed earlier this month following the departure of publisher and CEO Will Lewis, said leadership is working on a longer-term strategy to stabilize its precarious financial situation.
“Bear with me, because that will take some time and obvious care, but I’m keen to get going on it,” he told staff.
“And we are going to go after it, and we’re going to go after it hard, because we owe it to this place to do that.”
Bezos, meanwhile, has recently tried to move the paper away from its traditional left-wing activist journalism in the hope of currying favor with President Trump.
Last year, he announced that the paper’s entire opinion section would be dedicated to promoting “personal liberties and free markets.”
