Former Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene is demanding that Congress invoke the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office.
Greene, a former MAGA stalwart who resigned from her House seat at the beginning of this year following a fallout with the White House, told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour that Trump was unfit for office.

AMANPOUR: You’ve been very critical of President Trump recently when he, you know, made that very apocalyptic threat to essentially wipe out. And a whole civilization will die tonight and will never be brought back. That’s what he said about Iran. You responded, 25th Amendment. Tell us what you what you meant.”
GREENE: I was absolutely shocked and horrified that the president, the man that I supported and helped get elected, would call for an entire civilization of people to be murdered.
When he talks about a civilization, he’s talking about every man, woman and child and the country of Iran to be killed.
I think that is completely unacceptable for the president of the United States, for any leader of any country around the world, to call for an entire civilization to be killed.
In a sense, the innocent lives to be wiped out. And, that really gave me grave concern for his mental capacity and that’s what the 25th Amendment is for.”
AMANPOUR: So just to be clear, it’s to, you know, through Congress, through those official, routes, is to sort of remove a president if they’re deemed unfit, to be able to carry out their duties. Do you believe that?”
GREENE: Yes. I really think that his mental capacity needs to be examined.

Following the outbreak of the Iran war at the end of February, Greene suggested he was out of touch with working Americans.

Hasan Piker is a podcaster and influencer who has become an unofficial spokesman for the Bernie/AOC wing of the Democrat party. He is openly communist and at one point, said that America deserved 9/11.

Far-left Twitch streamer Hasan Piker declared the American empire is “fading fast” and will “inevitably fall,” when addressing Yale University’s Political Union on Tuesday.
Empires “rarely die quietly,” Piker told Yale students, adding, “They go out over the course of sometimes centuries, but in America’s case, probably a lot shorter, with increasing amounts of violence.”
Piker came out in support of a resolution “End the American Empire” during the speech at Yale that irked conservatives before it began.
“It’s an interesting resolution, end the U.S. empire. It’s interesting because, how do you end something that’s already in the process of dying?” Piker told students, drawing cheers.
“We must manage the retreat of a superpower from the world stage. This is a challenge for our time,” he said. “Because if we do not do this, then the American empire will come to an end in a much more violent way, a curse on future generations that we must avoid at all costs.”
He also suggested the United States “turned against” the Soviet Union following World War II because of “anti-communist fervor.” At another point, he quoted Chinese dictator Mao Zedong’s past words about “reactionaries” being “paper tigers” who weren’t as scary as they appeared.

People in New York City who are looking forward to the city-owned grocery stores promised by the new democratic socialist (communist) Mayor Zohran Mamdani are going to be waiting for quite a while.
Not only is the first new store going to cost upwards of $30 million in tax dollars, it’s not going to be ready until 2029. Just think of how many people are going to get in on that grift over the course of the next three years. There is apparently another store that will open in 2027 which won’t require construction because it’ll be housed in an existing building.
How long do you think it would take to build this store if a private company was doing it with investors? It certainly wouldn’t take three years.
Socialist Mamdani touts government-run grocery plan as ‘grand experiment’’ at new grocery store site
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani spoke at one of his proposed government-run grocery stores on Tuesday, touting what he described as a “grand experiment” that would reduce the cost of everyday items like bread and eggs.
The socialist mayor, who has promised to open one such store in each borough, said the city will subsidize basic grocery items while a private operator runs the stores under city rules requiring lower prices.
“New York City it is time for a grand experiment once again, just as LaGuardia used government to respond to the challenges of the Great Depression, we will use government to respond to rising prices and unaffordable groceries,” Mamdani said at La Marqueta in East Harlem on Tuesday.
The 9,000-square-foot store in East Harlem will be constructed from the ground up on a nearby vacant, city-owned lot and is expected to open by 2029, while the first city-owned grocery store is expected to open in late 2027. Mamdani has allocated $70 million in capital funds for the development of the five sites.
The Harlem grocery store will cost $30 million to build, according to the New York Times.

Hampshire College is closing its doors for good at the end of this year. This has been a long time coming and for good reasons.
Hampshire is so far left that it makes other colleges look downright conservative in comparison. In 2016, when Trump was first elected president, the students forced the school to fly the American flag at half-mast sparking outrage even in liberal Massachusetts.
That was the beginning of the end for Hampshire. By 2018, they were having financial problems and enrollment started going down. By this year, their issues became unsustainable. Now it’s all over.
Hampshire College to close permanently after fall 2026 semester
Hampshire College’s board of trustees voted to permanently close the institution following the Fall 2026 semester. The decision comes after years of financial struggle and unsuccessful efforts to secure the college’s future.
The college has navigated financial challenges since 2019, experiencing declining enrollment, rising costs and an unstable funding environment that affects small, liberal arts colleges. Despite pursuing a financial sustainability plan and raising more than $55 million through its Change in the Making campaign, efforts in enrollment growth, debt refinancing and land development did not yield a viable path forward.
Hampshire College will provide academic, student life and transitional services to currently enrolled students through the end of the fall semester. The college will not admit a new class for Fall 2026 and all deposits from admitted students will be refunded.
Despite this herculean effort, the financial pressures on the College’s operations have become increasingly complex, compounded by shifting external factors. As President Chrisler has shared regularly with our community and our regulatory agencies, we worked aggressively to increase enrollment, refinance existing debt, and realize new revenue via the sale of a portion of our land. We have long known that addressing these issues is essential to establishing a stable financial foundation, supporting long-term operations, and meeting regulatory requirements. We are faced with the clear, heartbreaking reality that progress on each of these three key factors has fallen far short of what we had hoped.
As a result, the Board of Trustees voted to permanently close Hampshire College.

This was not only disrespectful but incredibly stupid.

American YouTuber sentenced to 6 months in South Korean prison for offensive stunts
An American YouTuber who sparked national outrage in South Korea for provocative stunts, including dancing on a statue honoring victims of wartime sexual slavery, was sentenced to six months in prison Wednesday.
The Seoul Western District Court found Ramsey Khalid Ismael, a self-proclaimed internet “troll” known online as Johnny Somali, guilty of multiple charges, including obstruction of business and distributing fabricated sexually explicit content.
Prosecutors had sought a three-year term for Ismael, who also faced accusations of harassing staff and visitors at an amusement park, disrupting a convenience store by blasting music and upending noodles onto a table, causing similar scenes on a bus and subway, and distributing non-consensual deepfake videos.
The court said the 25-year-old displayed “severe” disrespect for South Korean law, noting that he offended countless people with livestreamed stunts aimed at generating YouTube revenue. The court ordered his immediate detention following the verdict, citing him as a flight risk.

Federal prosecutors made a surprise visit Tuesday to the construction site of the Federal Reserve’s headquarters renovation project.
Workers at the site refused to admit them, saying they did not have clearance in advance of the visit, according to The Wall Street Journal.
The $2.5 billion project has been under review by the administration, and the prosecutors came from the office of U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro.
“Any construction project that has cost overruns of almost 80 percent over the original construction budget deserves some serious review,” Pirro said in a statement.
“And these people are in charge of monetary policy in the United States?” she asked.
Robert Hur, an attorney representing the Fed, said prosecutors Carlton Davis and Steven Vandervelden appeared “without prior notice” and sought a tour to check the work’s progress.
President Donald Trump has praised Pirro “for having the courage” to investigate the Fed.
As noted by ABC News, Trump has continually pushed for lower interest rates and also sparred with Fed Chair Jerome Powell about the cost of the $2.5 billion building project.
On Wednesday, Trump said he would fire Powell due to the economist’s “incompetence” if Powell does not leave when his term ends in May.
Trump has nominated former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh to replace Powell, according to Fox Business.
“I’ve held back firing him. I’ve wanted to fire him, but I hate to be controversial, you know?” he said in a Fox Business interview.
Trump said the renovation project involved a “building that I would have done for $25 million that’s going to cost maybe $4 billion.”
“Don’t you think we have to find out what happened there?” he asked.
Republican Sen. Thom Tillis of North Carolina has threatened to oppose Warsh’s confirmation.
When asked about Warsh’s chances, he said, “We’re going to have to find out [if he will be confirmed]. He might not, but that’s why Thom Tillis is no longer a senator.”
Tillis is not seeking re-election.
“He’s on his way out… and I think he doesn’t want the legacy of stopping a great person who could be great… I know he said what he said, and maybe it’s true, in which case I’ll have to live with it,” Trump said.
John Eastman, Chapman Law School’s former dean, lost his law license after he allegedly helped President Trump try to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
“After extensive proceedings before the State Bar Court’s Hearing and Review Departments, both of which found Mr. Eastman culpable of serious ethical violations, the Court has imposed the discipline warranted by the clear and convincing evidence that he advanced false claims about the 2020 presidential election to mislead courts, public officials, and the American public,” said State Bar Chief Trial Counsel George Cardona.
The California Supreme Court affirmed Eastman’s disbarment two years after the State Bar found him culpable of 10 disciplinary charges, claiming he engaged in misconduct by allegedly helping Trump try to overturn the 2020 election results in Georgia.
Eastman was disbarred in April 2024 after a judge ruled he should have his law license stripped for challenging the 2020 election.

New York City Democratic Mayor Zohran Mamdani condemned two NYPD officers after a chaotic arrest video out of Brooklyn went viral online.
The footage showed a violent struggle between two officers and a suspect inside a liquor store.
The incident occurred on Tuesday at a store in Brooklyn, according to a report from WNYW.
A source told the outlet that the officers were attempting to arrest a man they suspected of being involved in a drug deal.
The situation escalated quickly when the man repeatedly resisted arrest.
Video from the scene showed officers repeatedly punching the suspect in an effort to get him to the ground.

The NYPD has since placed both officers on modified duty.
New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed the move during a news conference on Wednesday.
She said the department’s Internal Affairs Bureau is reviewing the incident.
Tisch added that more information will be released as the investigation unfolds.
Mamdani, a socialist who supported the “defund the police” movement, weighed in on the video.
He shared the footage and issued a sharp condemnation of the officers, presumably without having all the facts.

The New York City Police Benevolent Association criticized Mamdani for speaking out before the investigation is complete, WNYW reported.
The organization’s president, Patrick Hendry, said the mayor had rushed to judge the cops.
“We don’t know why the mayor is bothering to call for an investigation when he has already rushed to condemn the NYPD members involved without knowing all the facts,” Hendry said.

A new investigative report has revealed that California’s Medi-Cal program is providing full sex change treatments, including cross-sex hormones, breast implants, and preparation for genital surgeries, to homeless illegal aliens living in taxpayer-funded shelters in San Francisco.
The City Journal report details how shelters are housing illegal aliens from countries including Honduras, Mexico, El Salvador, and Venezuela while refusing to cooperate with federal immigration authorities.
At St. Vincent de Paul’s MSC-South facility, the city’s largest shelter, which has a $66 million service contract with San Francisco, reporters encountered multiple illegal aliens receiving state-funded treatment.
One resident, “Lyca,” a Honduran identifying as a transgender woman, confirmed receiving cross-sex hormone therapy through Medi-Cal, saying simply, “Tengo Medi-Cal.”
Another resident, “Alondra,” also from Honduras and claiming asylum, was offered taxpayer-funded rent assistance for private housing but declined because he could not afford the ongoing costs.
Lyca, who wore long hair and red lipstick, was candid about this arrangement. He confirmed that he was an illegal immigrant and that the shelter doesn’t ask questions about immigration status. “Tengo Medi-Cal,” he said, referring to the state health-care program, which, under Governor Gavin Newsom, began providing “full scope” coverage to illegal aliens, which includes transgender procedures, or “gender affirming care.” He said he was receiving cross-sex hormone therapy—and bore the physical signs of having done so.
Alondra, a muscular man in a camouflage shirt and dyed hair tied behind his head, said he had been in the United States after claiming asylum. According to the translator, the city government had offered to pay first and second month’s rent on private apartments for him and Lyca. But neither accepted the offer—in Lyca’s case, because he might not be able to pay for the apartment after the second month.
At the Embarcadero SAFE Navigation Center, a self-identified transgender “woman” from Mexico named “Jacqueline” openly discussed receiving hormone treatments and breast implants paid for by Medi-Cal.
He stated, “Even though you’re undocumented, you can get them,” adding that the process requires therapy and hormones.
When asked about “bottom surgery,” a procedure that can involve castration and creation of a simulated vagina, he replied that he is “waiting for that one.”

The Taimon Booton Navigation Center, which serves transgender, “gender non-conforming,” and “intersex” individuals, was also found to house groups of male-to-female transgender illegal aliens seeking the same medical treatments.
According to the report, word has spread through transgender communities in Latin America that “if you make it all the way to California, the government will pay for your shelter, hormones, and surgeries — no questions asked.”
Under Governor Gavin Newsom, Medi-Cal expanded to provide “full scope” coverage to illegal aliens, including sex change procedures classified as “medically necessary.”
The state does not check immigration status at these shelters, and employees confirmed they were instructed not to cooperate with ICE.
Neither the California Department of Health Care Services, which administers Medi-Cal, nor the shelters’ executive directors responded to reporters’ requests for comment.

On the job hunt: When I was looking into AMWAY back in the 90’s, and ADVOCARE in the early 2000’s. I learned one thing.
“Network, or Don’t Work.”
I applied my awesome skill set to the local markets where I’m currently located. I put in a ton of applications for various employment in and around the area.
I was shocked and awed when I received a phone call from a local Farm (The farm has a ton of things going on; Local Market, Acre’s of Vegetable Gardens, Tree sales, Plants, Christmas Trees in the winter, on and on.) $18.00 an hour. I was to come in, and report for an interview ASAP.
I put my best work clothes on (in case I was to start that day), then fueled up my truck. Showed up about twenty minutes early. Practiced what I would say. I thought about a million different topics that I may be asked, and how to answer. This will be my first interview in about three decades. I was a bit nervous (unlike the interview by the FBI when I turned myself in.)
When the time came. I was taken into a meeting room where I met three different individuals.
“Tell us a bit about yourself. Where are you from? How long were you in the military? What have you been doing since you retired? What are you doing here in this state? Wow, when can you start? You seem like a nice guy.”
I was given paperwork to fill out. I gave them a copy of my DL. Spoke with the owner. I was excited. The interview went well. I felt positive about this. They walked me around the entire operation. Introducing me to numerous employees. I went home and took my girlfriend out for lunch. We were jumping around in the parking lot, looking stupid. Yes! I got a job! It’s going to get better from here!!!!! Just like the military, I’ll climb the Ladder of Success, on the backs of my peers! Get a shirt with my name on it! Buy some rubber boots for the muck! Get another pair of work pants. Get a Superman Lunch Box!!! Yes!
We didn’t finish lunch when I received a phone call from the owner.
“Jeff, hey. I’ll be frank with you for a moment. We looked your name up, and we’d like to speak with you. Can you come back and answer a few questions?”
Sure. I’ll be there in an hour. I knew exactly what he was talking about. I didn’t finish my lunch.
This time: There were five people in the same conference room. All waiting on me.
Hiring Manager: “Jeff, thanks for coming back. We did a background check on you. You were at January 6th? We watched a ton of videos about you. I gave this information to the others. This is why you are here.”
I replied: Would you like to hear some of it? Maybe my side of the story? Because there’s more than what you know. Like how I got there, and what’s happened to me since I turned myself into the FBI?
“Well Jeff. I’m sure it’s a good story. But we run a good organization and have young people working here that are impressionable. They wouldn’t do well if they knew who was working alongside them. We would like to thank you for coming by and speaking with us. But we can’t take you at this time. Thank you, Jeff. Have a good day.”
Everyone left at one time. I sat in the parking lot thinking. What just happened?

I’ve been trying to get into my local church. I think I found a home in this community. I ran into some people at the church that do security work. I offered up my position of support and consulting. I was granted an interview. I met with the department head. He instructed me to meet with the team lead. When I linked up with him this morning. He had no idea who I was, until he heard my name. Justice Sonia Sotomayor issued a highly unusual public apology to a colleague Wednesday, saying her criticism of Justice Brett Kavanaugh was unfair.
“At a recent appearance at the University of Kansas School of Law, I referred to a disagreement with one of my colleagues in a prior case, but I made remarks that were inappropriate,” Sotomayor said in the statement. “I regret my hurtful comments.
“I have apologized to my colleague.”
Sotomayor’s statement followed comments she made last week at the University of Kansas School of Law in which she criticized Kavanaugh for his concurring opinion in a high-profile emergency immigration case dealing with ICE patrols — an exceedingly rare and personal comment directed at one justice by another.
Last September, the Supreme Court sided with President Trump and allowed his administration to continue sweeping immigration raids.
The Supreme Court weighed in after a far-left Biden judge sided with the anti-American ACLU’s plaintiffs and temporarily blocked President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security agents from raiding Home Depots, car washes and other places in the Los Angeles area (7 counties in the Central District of California) unless they have reasonable suspicion that there is a violation of immigration laws.
Sotomayor fumed in her dissenting opinion.
“We should not have to live in a country where the Government can seize anyone who looks Latino, speaks Spanish, and appears to work a low wage job,” Sotomayor wrote.
“Rather than stand idly by while our constitutional freedoms are lost, I dissent,” Sotomayor wrote.
In March, John H. Windom, 64, was federally indicted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia on three counts: Concealment of Material Facts, False Statements, and Falsification of a Record or Document.
Windom, 64, a retired U.S. Navy Captain and former senior executive at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), served as Executive Director of the Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization (OEHRM) from 2017 to 2022.
In 2022, during the Biden administration, he was reassigned as deputy director of the Federal Electronic Health Modernization Office, a joint DoD-VA initiative.
According to the three-count Indictment, between 2017 and 2021, while Windom was leading the $16 billion acquisition and deployment of the VA’s Electronic Health Records solution, then one of the largest information technology contracts in the federal government, he concealed from the VA, executive branch ethics officials, and the public that he was also accepting, and sometimes demanding, extravagant gifts from a group of contractors and subcontractors who worked on the project he was overseeing.
John H. Windom, a former Biden VA official tasked with overseeing a billion-dollar DEI initiative, was charged with accepting THOUSANDS of dollars worth of undisclosed gifts in return for kickbacks and government contracts.
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Ferris Pirro, Assistant Director in Charge Darren B. Cox of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, and Veterans Affairs Inspector General Cheryl L. Mason announced the charges.
“As alleged, the defendant exploited his senior position for personal gain and concealed gifts and financial relationships that created serious conflicts of interest in the health care of our nation’s veterans,” said U.S. Attorney Pirro.
“Such conduct is not only a betrayal of the public trust—it undermines confidence in the institutions dedicated to serving those who have sacrificed for this country. Our office will continue to aggressively investigate and prosecute public corruption wherever it occurs, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to protecting the integrity of the programs that support America’s veterans.”
“This indictment sends a clear message that the VA OIG is committed to holding individuals accountable, including VA employees who are alleged to have misused their position of public trust for personal gain,” said Inspector General Mason.
The indictment reveals that between 2017 and 2021 (while overseeing the massive EHR project), he allegedly accepted and sometimes demanded thousands of dollars in gifts from contractors and subcontractors involved in the project.
Gifts reportedly included:
Cash (at least $2,000)
Casino chips (about $1,800)
An $8,200 Louis Vuitton gift card
Other gift cards and extravagant items (totaling over $15,000–$16,000)
He allegedly concealed these from the VA, ethics officials, and the public, despite knowing he was required to report them.
When questioned by federal agents in 2021, he reportedly denied accepting any such gifts.
If convicted on all counts, he faces up to 20+ years in prison plus financial penalties.

Airline pilots were caught making animal noises over a live aviation radio frequency at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, prompting a stunned air traffic controller to shut it down in real time.
According to a now-viral air traffic control (ATC) audio clip circulating online, the incident lasted roughly 15–20 seconds and captured pilots communicating using “meow” sounds and even dog barks instead of standard aviation language.
That’s when an air traffic controller finally stepped in and shut it down.
Here’s how the exchange unfolded:
One pilot can be heard saying, “meow meow.”
Moments later, another voice, believed to be the air traffic controller, responds: “You guys need to be professional pilots.”
Instead of stopping, the “cat” voice continues: “meow meow meow meow.”
Then another pilot chimes in with: “Woof woof woof.”
Then the air traffic controller adds a jab, quite personal: “This is why you still fly an RJ [regional jet].”
Another “meow meow” follows before the frustrated controller closes it out: “It was funny the first five minutes, thank you very much.”

The reaction online has been sharply divided: some argue this kind of behavior is completely inappropriate for live aviation communications, while others say pilots operate under constant pressure and can be afforded a brief moment of levity.
The bizarre exchange reportedly took place over a monitored aviation frequency, where pilots are expected to maintain strict communication discipline, especially in congested airspace like Washington, D.C.
This is the same airport where, just 15 months ago in January 2025, an American Eagle CRJ collided mid-air with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter, killing all 67 people on board in one of the deadliest aviation disasters in recent U.S. history.
The Senate on Wednesday defeated another war powers resolution aimed at curbing President Trump’s ability to use further military force against Iran, with Democrats vowing to keep trying to rein in the president.
A motion to discharge the measure from committee failed in a 47 to 52 vote, with Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky and Democratic Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania crossing the aisle.
It was the fourth time Democrats in the Senate had forced a vote on the issue since the war began on Feb. 28.
The resolution, led by Democratic Sen. Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, would have directed President Trump “to remove the United States Armed Forces from hostilities within or against Iran, unless explicitly authorized by a declaration of war or a specific authorization for use of military force.”
Last month a war powers resolution to restrain President Trump’s action in Iran failed in the Senate in a 47-53 vote.
GOP Senator Rand Paul broke ranks and voted to restrict President Trump.
Democrat Senator John Fetterman voted with the Republicans to block the war powers resolution.

Despite the incident being deemed an honest mistake, a ban strips a retired Navy officer’s access to various facilities and benefits, prompting him to appeal the decision and raising concerns about the appropriateness of the harsh punishment.
Navy Lieutenant Commander (Ret.) Craig Wortham dedicated over two decades of his life to military service before retiring in 2012. On March 30, 2026, his day began as it would for many retirees, with the anticipation of playing a round of golf.
As he arrived at the Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek (JEBLCFS) gate in his truck that bears his company logo (Happy Tractor, LLC), Wortham was told he would have to use the contractor entrance. At the other gate, he was required to open all doors and the tailgate to his truck. He stood on the sidewalk as guards conducted a quick search of his vehicle, finding a firearm in the side panel of the driver’s door.
Speaking to The Gateway Pundit, Wortham said, “It wasn’t hard to see. I just forgot to remove it.”
He presented his driver’s license, his retirement identification card, and even suggested sharing his Concealed Carry Permit. Even though he has the Virginia permit, he acknowledged that forgetting there was a gun in the vehicle was an error. And after expressing regret for the oversight, he felt that everyone present understood it was “an honest mistake.”
“No one was angry or upset about it. The only emotion was probably mine, embarrassed to get patted down in front of my son,” Wortham shared.
As he contemplated what to do next, an agent from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) approached, introduced himself, and verified that Wortham was a retired Navy officer. He then inquired about Wortham’s knowledge of firearms regulations on military bases. Wortham, however, declined to answer further questions, expressing a desire not to “incriminate” himself.
The NCIS agent got back in his car and left. Wortham mentioned that his friend’s son was in a car behind him and proposed exiting the checkpoint, leaving the firearm in his vehicle, outside the base, before returning. Everyone consented to this plan, and the lead security guard stopped traffic on both sides to accommodate Wortham’s departure.
After returning to the gate without his firearm, Wortham’s truck was subjected to a quick search, and he was allowed to enter the base. “I still made my tee time,” Wortham shared, saying that “it was wonderful, shooting a low 80 round.”
Twenty-five days later, everything changed. He received an exclusion letter from the Executive Officer for Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, dated April 2.
A retired LCDR was just banned from all Navy bases and facilities in the Hampton Roads area for accidentally having a personal weapon in his vehicle at the base gate checkpoint.
Wortham was “administratively barred from JEBLCFS indefinitely,” and according to the letter, “this ban includes, but is not limited to, all buildings, facilities, barracks, Navy Fleet and Family Service Center, Navy Lodge, the Navy Exchange, Commissary, and the Medical/Dental Clinics.” Furthermore, the letter stated there was also “a reciprocal administrative ban from all Navy Region Mid-Atlantic installations, to include Naval Air Station, Oceana; Naval Starion Norfolk; and Naval Support Activity Hamton Roads.”
Coincidentally, though not applicable to Wortham, the letter was dated the same day War Secretary Pete Hegseth signed a memorandum authorizing off-duty service members “to request to carry privately owned firearms while in their nonofficial duty capacity” on military installations.
It wasn’t until April 14 that Wortham got the letter, utterly shocked to learn that he would no longer have access to the commissary, the medical facility, or the golf course. “By restricting my access to military bases, they’ve essentially removed my retirement benefits,” Wortham told The Gateway Pundit.
As Green stated in his viral X post with over 1.2 million views, “The subsequent ban was an unexpected shock and a grave heavy-handed response to an honest mistake.”
Wortham will be appealing the decision.
Most notably, Wortham never entered the base with a firearm in his possession. “This all happened at a checkpoint,” he explained. “I never actually made it on the base, regretting the oversight, thinking everything was okay when it was not.”
The entire ordeal raises a significant question: Did U.S. Navy Commander C.L. Gatewood truly intend to endorse this letter? Or was it purely an administrative oversight? By doing so, stripped away the justly deserved benefits of a Lieutenant Commander who dedicated 23 years of honorable service to the Navy.
This draconian incident certainly warrants rectification. Before the dust settles, many believe that Wortham is owed an apology.
As seen below, J.M. Phelps sought comments from Commander C.L. Gatewood, who signed the letter sent to Wortham and serves as Executive Officer for JEBLCFS; Captain Katie H. Jacobson, the commanding officer of JEBLCFS; and Rear Admiral Stephen D. Barnett, the Commander of Navy Region Mid-Atlantic (CNRMA).
However, no responses were received by the time of publication.

The big-mouth, clueless, communist, hypocrite Pope can say all the nice things he wants about migrants, and felons, and illegal invaders, but he says it all from afar…surrounded by big walls, and guarded by heavily-armed militarized guards- the Vatican Army.

Who does he think he is? Barack Obama? Nancy Pelosi? Joe Biden? Illinois Governor JB Pritzker? California Governor Gavin Newsom? Kamala Harris? Hillary Clinton?
All these powerful Democrats live just like the Pope.
In mansions, behind walls and gates, and protected by armed guards. They never see or touch illegal aliens. There are no homeless tents and drug addicts sleeping on the lawn inside their gates. These filthy rich DEmocrat hypocrites all ride in limos and fly private jets. Their children go to fancy, all-white, private schools that cost $60,000 a year.
Just like Pope Leo, the only migrants they ever see are cleaning their toilets or mowing their lawns.
It’s easy to criticize others who have to actually live with the “unwashed, unhoused” masses of migrants, a large percentage of whom are criminals, when you fly above in your private jet, or drive by in your limo, or watch from afar, inside your gated mansion.
It’s really easy to tell others to pay for their bills when the Vatican and the Catholic Church don’t have to pay a dime. The money comes from American taxpayers- and by the way, Pope, millions of those taxpayers are your Catholic parishioners.
And it’s also easy to tell us to accept millions of illegals when you’ve conned and scammed the U.S. government into handing Catholic Charities billions of dollars annually to help bring illegals into the USA.
In other words…what a SCAM you’ve got going, Pope…
American taxpayers pay the bills, and you get paid. And the more illegals who break into our country, the more money the Catholic Church makes.
So, from now on, Pope Leo, they are yours, and their bills are yours. Forever. They’re your responsibility.

The US Military on Tuesday released audio of US Naval officers patrolling the Gulf of Oman and warning other vessels that try to breach blockade.
“U.S. naval vessels are on patrol in the Gulf of Oman as CENTCOM continues to execute a U.S. blockade on ships entering and departing Iranian ports. U.S. forces are present, vigilant, and ready to ensure compliance,” CENTCOM said.
“After implementing the blockade on ships entering and departing Iranian ports, American forces halted economic trade going into and out of Iran by sea. U.S. Sailors, Marines, and Airmen remain positioned and ready to act against any vessels seeking to violate the blockade,” CENTCOM said.
“The US has announced a formal blockade of Iranian ports in coastal areas,” a Naval officer says.
“This is illegal action. All vessels are advised to immediately return to port if leaving, and discontinue transit to Iran if that is your next port of call, do not attempt to breach the blockade,” he said.
“Vessels will be boarded for interdiction and seizure transiting to or from an Iranian port,” the officer said.
“Turn around and prepare to be boarded. If you do not comply with this blockade, we will use force. The whole of the United States Navy is ready to force compliance,” he said.

On Monday, President Trump announced a US Naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz after peace negotiations stalled.
“The United States to Blockade Ships Entering or Exiting Iranian Ports on April 13 at 10:00 A.M. ET. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT” Trump said on Truth Social.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Sunday, President Trump had already ordered the U.S. Navy to BLOCK “any and all ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz effective immediately” after Iran defied his nuclear demands and continued their terrorist extortion racket on the world’s energy supply.
CENTCOM confirmed the blockade: Starting at 10 a.m. ET today, U.S. forces will implement a full blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports and coastal areas, including every single Iranian port on the Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman.
The blockade will be enforced impartially against vessels of all nations. Freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz to non-Iranian ports will continue, but the terror regime’s ports are now effectively shut down.
The US Naval blockade was implemented after Vice President JD Vance announced no deal had been reached with Iran after a 21-hour marathon negotiations.
Here is the US’s ‘red line’ list according to Semafor (It is unclear if any points were agreed upon):
– End all uranium enrichment
– Dismantle all major nuclear enrichment facilities
– Retrieve highly enriched uranium
– Accept a broader peace, security and de-escalation framework that includes regional allies
– End funding for terrorist proxies Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis
– Fully open the Strait of Hormuz, charging no tolls for passage
“’(This) is a responsible measure that will reduce operating costs for truckers and businesses in the food, agriculture, housing, construction, and delivery sectors’, he said. The measure is expected to reduce the cost of regular gasoline by 10 cents a liter and diesel by four cents a liter, he added.”

“While the move may spell some temporarily relief for motorists, gas analyst Dan McTeague told the Toronto Sun it doesn’t go far enough if the Carney Liberals truly cared about affordability.
‘I’m not sure how dropping four cents, with the HST, is going to alleviate what has been a tremendous increase in the price of diesel’, he said. […] ‘The bigger issue is that it should’ve been widened — both the federal government continuing to charge GST and the province’s portion of eight per cent on the higher price’, he said. ‘That’s the real money — that’s where the government continues to make and offset any potential loss in revenue by doing this’.”
McTeague stressed that ‘unaffordable government policies’ weigh heavily in what Canadians pay at the pumps.
“’It isn’t the excise tax — it’s the GST, it’s the weak Canadian dollar that no longer has the status of being a ‘petro-dollar’ as a result of blocking pipelines for 10 years’, McTeague said. ‘The very green net-zero policies this government are pursuing is the real culprit of driving up the costs of everything’.
[…] ‘(Carney) says he’s doing it for good reasons — well, prove it: Suspend the GST, which is what I would have done in this case, because 13% on $2.40 per liter for diesel is 28, 29 cents per liter, not four cents. That’s the real elephant in the room’, McTeague said.”
Democrats cannot help themselves when it comes to using violent rhetoric against President Trump, even after two prior assassination attempts.
As the Hill reported, Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought testified before a House Budget Committee panel on Wednesday morning regarding Trump’s fiscal 2027 White House budget request.
The proposed budget request asks for $1.5 trillion in defense spending and cuts non-defense spending by $73 billion. The funding cuts are focused on what the administration calls “woke, weaponized, and wasteful programs.”
The budget would also return some responsibilities back to state and local governments.
Democrats have lashed out not only at the massive defense budget request but the idea of cutting government spending at all.
Now, at least one Democrat is suggesting inflicting violence over the such a commonsense proposal.
During the hearing, Rep. Bonnie Coleman Watson (D-NJ) suggested one way to eliminate waste would be to remove Trump from office.
“If we wanted to eliminate abuse and fraud, we’d eliminate the President of the United States from the office right now, and the rest of the sycophants in his administration,” Watson Coleman said.

During the Biden administration, pro-lifers were routinely targeted by the Department of Justice.
In 2022, under the leadership of then Attorney General Merrick Garland, father of seven and pro-life warrior Mark Houck was arrested in Pennsylvania as dozens of fully-armed FBI agents raided his home and terrified his family.
The arrest stemmed from an incident outside an abortion clinic in 2021.
A 72-year-old abortion escort allegedly insisted on harassing Houck’s 12 -year old son, who was accompanying him during sidewalk counseling in front of the clinic. After weeks of agitation, Houck ultimately shoved the abortion escort. No injuries were reported.
Although local prosecutors declined to pursue the case and a judge dismissed a civil lawsuit filed by the escort, Federal authorities charged Houck with violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.
The jury trial began on January 24, 2023, before United States District Judge Gerald J. Pappert in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Just one week later, the jury returned a verdict of “not guilty,” acquitting Mark Houck. Defense attorneys Peter Breen and Brian McMonagle, representing the Thomas More Society, successfully argued that the abortion escort was the aggressor in the encounter.
Their victory not only freed Mark and his family from the burden imposed by the Biden administration but also protected the rights of every sidewalk counselor who ministers to women entering abortion clinics.
Following the trial, Houck filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice in 2023 seeking restitution for what he called “a faulty investigation” and “excessive force.”
After a three-year battle, Houck has now reached a settlement with the DOJ for more than $1 million.
Steve Crampton, one of Houck’s attorneys at the Thomas More Society, told Fox News Digital that the outcome was long overdue and they were pleased with the Trump administration’s efforts to bring forth justice in the case.
“We are very pleased with a Department of Justice that seems to be genuinely interested in doing justice,” Crampton said. “That’s rare enough these days, and we look forward to Mark not being the only wrongfully accused defendant to receive some kind of remuneration and recognition for the wrongs that were done to him.”
Crampton said the Trump administration should be commended for “attempting to at least acknowledge, if not completely right, the wrongs that were done” to pro-life activists under the Biden administration.
Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in a statement, “This Department will not tolerate a two-tiered system of justice.”
“No Department should conduct selective prosecution based on beliefs. The weaponization that happened under the Biden Administration will not happen again, as we restore integrity to our prosecutorial system.”
On Monday, The Gateway Pundit reported that at least four prosecutors who weaponized the FACE Act under Garland were fired.
PETA’s youth-focused division, PETA2, is once again proving that the animal rights group can’t resist injecting radical leftist politics into its activism, even when targeting impressionable youth.
On Tuesday, the youth and teen outreach arm posted images to Instagram under the caption, “drop a comment if you are any of these please and thank you.”
The images feature meme-style graphics styled like AI prompts, “computer bring me a bisexual vegan boy,” “computer bring me a dom vegan girl,” and “computer bring me a submissive nb vegan” (meaning non-binary).
According to PETA, the kink-promoting PETA2 arm is meant to appeal to youth as young as 13.
PETA2 has over 200,000 Instagram followers and regularly mixes animal welfare messaging with progressive social causes aimed at young audiences. The post had over 500 likes, but still no comments by Wednesday afternoon.
This isn’t PETA’s first jump into transgender and LGBTQ activism.
In a previous campaign, PETA featured transgender model and actor Carmen Carrera in a “Transform Your Wardrobe” campaign.
Carrera appeared naked in promotional materials for the organization, covered in transgender flag colored censor bars.
Yet PETA founder and president Ingrid Newkirk has repeatedly insisted the organization is not a “lefty” group.
In a 2025 Washington Examiner op-ed titled “PETA a ‘lefty’ group? Think again,” Newkirk claimed, “PETA fights cruelty to animals across all lines, period,” and “There’s nothing ‘lefty’ about that.”
Newkirk insisted the group’s mission is nonpartisan and focused solely on animal welfare, not political ideologies.
Their actions clearly tell another story.
They just think you’re suckers.
Just months ago, in November, PETA drew criticism for going on a jealous rant against the White Coat Waste Project (WCW), a more effective taxpayer watchdog group successfully working with Republicans and Democrats to end federal animal testing programs.
White Coat Waste famously exposed the transgender animal testing being funded by taxpayers, and has continued fighting to end it.
PETA officials lashed out at WCW for its “young-male-testosterone energy” and accused it of attacking other groups for fundraising purposes.
One PETA activist reportedly reacted to WCW’s criticism of an NIH official by asking, “Have they lost their f-cking minds?”
Despite PETA’s massive budget and decades of protests, WCW has racked up tangible wins, including ending primate testing at the Department of Veterans Affairs, closing the FDA’s largest monkey lab, and slashing NIH-funded experiments.
PETA has struggled to deliver results, seemingly preferring to pander to identity politics and rub elbows with officials in DC.
Instead of focusing on those kinds of concrete victories or the animals it claims to defend, PETA is busy playing matchmaker for “bisexual vegan boys” and “submissive non-binary vegans.”
The post’s awkward attempt to blend niche identity labels and kink with veganism comes across less like serious advocacy and more like a desperate bid to stay relevant with Gen Z and Alpha, both of which went through a pretty crazy rainbow trend for a few years.
PETA has long positioned itself as the loudest voice for animals, but posts like this one reveal where its priorities increasingly lie, not stopping animal testing, but ensuring the movement stays firmly aligned with the latest progressive cause du jour.
