Scott Jennings of CNN recently spoke at the Texas Public Policy Foundation Summit and gave a speech that deserves attention.

He begins by saying that he wants to tell you ‘something that you must understand about the left’ and then launches into some basic truths that must be repeated.

He talks about the left’s basic world view, the way they look at America, and then transitions seamlessly into the subject of Charlie Kirk.

“Here’s something that you must understand about the left,” Jennings said. “They hate success. They hate it when people make it on their own. They hate it when you don’t need them.”

“Think about what they teach our kids. That America was founded on racism. That our country is rotten at its core. That capitalism is evil. That hard work is for suckers. That merit is a dirty word. That the nuclear family is oppressive, especially to women. That faith is for idiots and rubes for people who are from Kentucky and Texas,” he continued. “They run people for the United States Senate who think there are six genders. And that we can solve the climate crisis by taking away all of your bacon. Is it any wonder that Charlie spent his life on college campuses trying to reach young people? He saw what was happening.”

“I think when that shooter pulled the trigger and killed my friend in Utah, he thought he was ending a movement,” Jennings said. “He thought if he killed Charlie Kirk, he could kill what Charlie stood for. That the rest of us would get the message. That we would heed the warning. Silence yourselves, or we will do it for you. I think that’s what he thought. Certainly, what the people who cheered on the assassination thought. And make no mistake, there were thousands who cheered it on.”

“But in trying to silence one voice, I think they created thousands,” he said. “In trying to end a conversation that day, I think they started millions. And that is the thing we learned about faith and freedom. You can’t kill them. You can try to suppress it, and you can try to silence it. But it always finds a way. Like water finding cracks in a dam.”

Today on CSPAN, former house speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked if she or other Democrats had any advanced knowledge of Eric Swalwell’s behavior or the things he has been accused of.

The host framed it as an accusation that Republicans are making, rather than pointing out that people all over the country are now admitting that Swalwell’s issues were an open secret for years.

Pelosi denied the whole thing, saying it is “absolutely not true.”

Pelosi’s comments are in direct conflict with a new report from ABC 7 in California (emphasis is ours):

U.S. Rep. Eric Swalwell has suspended his campaign for California governor following sexual assault allegations, announcing the decision Sunday as scrutiny intensified around the Democratic primary race.

In a statement, Swalwell said he would step aside to address the claims.

“To my family, staff, friends, and supporters, I am deeply sorry for mistakes in judgment I’ve made in my past. I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made – but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s.”

The suspension immediately reshaped a closely watched contest in which Swalwell had held a narrow lead among Democrats.

Criticism of Swalwell has circulated in Washington for years, according to former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who spoke on ABC’s “This Week.”

“Every member in Congress knows not to let any young staffer around Swalwell or Matt Gaetz, it’s not a secret there,” McCarthy said.

Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown said the allegations were not unexpected, citing longstanding talk among Democratic leaders.

“No, I’m not surprised frankly because there have been rumors after rumors after rumors, his colleague in Washington pretty much said that. That’s what Adam Schiff said, that’s what Nancy Pelosi said,” Brown said.

Of course, Nancy Pelosi would never lie, would she?

Tom Friedman of the New York Times just admitted something that is true about countless people in media and Democrats. They do not want the effort in Iran to succeed because they simply don’t want it to be a win for Trump.

At least Friedman was honest enough to come right out and say it.

Yes. I find myself, Michael, in a situation where I really want to see Iran defeated militarily because this regime is a terrible regime for its people in the region. And nothing would improve the region more than the replacement of this regime in Iran with one was focused on enabling its people to realize their full potential and integrating peacefully with other countries and stop occupying Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Yemen.

So I’m all for that. The problem is I really don’t want to see Bibi Netanyahu or Donald Trump politically strengthened by this war because they are two awful human beings. They are both engaged in anti- democratic projects in their own countries. They’re both alleged crooks. They are terrible, terrible people doing terrible things to America’s standing in the world and Israel standing in the world.

And so I really find myself torn. I want to see Iran militarily defeated, but I do not want to see these two terrible people strengthened.

Today on the air, Stelter gave journalists the credit for ending Eric Swlawell’s bid for governor of California.

This is amazing when you consider the fact that people are coming out of the woodwork now, claiming that Swalwell’s behavior has been an open secret among Democrats and the media for years.

And by the way, don’t his victims who have come forward deserve more credit than the media?

CNN’s chief media analyst is applauding the mainstream media for exposing sexual misconduct allegations against the top Democratic candidate for California governor, including an alleged rape, and now faces the wrath of online critics.

California Rep. Eric Swalwell had a tenuous lead above the other Democrats, but he has suspended his campaign in the wake of allegations of sexual assault from a former staffer and accusations from others about sexual misconduct. He has denied the claims.

On Monday, Brian Stelter of CNN said the report was a victory for journalism while ignoring that many had looked the other way for a decade about rumors of the allegations.

Stelter said it was a “testament to the power of investigative reporting” and credited CNN and the Chronicle for ending Swalwell’s gubernatorial hopes.

Brian Hooker, the American man who was taken into custody after his wife, Lynette Hooker, disappeared in the Bahamas was released by Bahamian authorities on Monday without charges.

The investigation is ongoing.

“Brian Hooker, an American man who told investigators his wife fell overboard and vanished in rough waters in the Bahamas, has been released from custody without charges after being arrested and questioned in his wife’s disappearance, his attorney said Monday night,” CNN reported.

“It is unclear whether Hooker will be required to stay in the Bahamas as the investigation continues or whether he is free to leave the country.”

“Hooker was arrested Wednesday and questioned in the disappearance of his wife, Lynette Hooker, who was reported missing April 5, police have said,” the outlet reported.

Fox News also reported that Brian Hooker was released without charges.

Brian Hooker was spotted as he was being released from custody.

Last Wednesday, the US Coast Guard launched a criminal investigation into the disappearance of an American woman who went overboard near Elbow Cay in the Bahamas.

Last week authorities were searching for Lynette Hooker, 55, after she went overboard late Saturday night while she was on a dinghy boat with her husband, Brian Hooker.

Brian Hooker, 59, said his wife fell from the boat late Saturday night during inclement weather and rough seas.

On Wednesday, Lynette Hooker’s daughter shared a voicemail her stepfather left her after her mother disappeared.

Brian Hooker did not sound distressed or upset.

“I found the flotation device that I threw to mom after she went overboard,” Brian Hooker said.

Three progressive American Cardinals, Blase Cupich of Chicago, Robert McElroy of San Diego, and Joseph Tobin of Newark, crashed CBS’s failing Sunday night propaganda hour “60 Minutes” to publicly flog President Donald Trump for daring to criticize the newly elected Pope Leo XIV.

This was a coordinated election-year hit job designed to fracture President Trump’s exploding Catholic voter base just months before the critical 2026 midterms.

Pope Leo XIV has already waded into U.S. politics by slamming President Trump’s decisive military action against Iran and his record-setting mass deportation operation that is finally securing our southern border.

On national television, Cupich, McElroy, and Tobin, seized the moment like seasoned Democrat operatives. They didn’t defend Catholic teaching.

They didn’t talk about the 70 million aborted babies since Roe. They didn’t mention the flood of fentanyl killing American families thanks to open borders. Instead, they lectured the President and, by extension, every Catholic who supports him.

Robert Barron, Bishop of the Diocese of Winona–Rochester and a member of President Trump’s Religious Liberty Commission, also issued a statement criticizing the president:

“The statements made by President Trump on Truth Social regarding the Pope were entirely inappropriate and disrespectful. They don’t contribute at all to a constructive conversation. It is the Pope’s prerogative to articulate Catholic doctrine and the principles that govern the moral life.

In regard to the concrete application of those principles, people of good will can and do disagree. I would warmly recommend that serious Catholics within the Trump administration–Secretary Rubio, Vice President Vance, Ambassador Brian Burch, and others–might meet with Vatican officials so that a real dialogue can take place. This is far preferable to the statements on social media.

I am very grateful for the many ways that the Trump administration has reached out to Catholics and other people of faith. It has been a high honor to serve on the Religious Liberty Commission. No President in my lifetime has shown a greater dedication to defending our first liberty. All that said, I think the President owes the Pope an apology.”

Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton weighed in on X, blasting the optics of the appearance and the glaring double standard:

“America kills about 1,000,000 unborn human beings a year through abortion and yet three leading cardinals go on 60 Minutes to promote left-wing talking points on Trump, the illegal immigration invasion, etc.”

Commentator Mike Cernovich also warned that the media push appears coordinated and strategic—aimed squarely at reshaping Catholic voting behavior ahead of the midterms.

“The Catholic vote swung big for Trump in 2024… So the issue now, of course, is what can be done to bring the Catholics back to the Democrats. So you have an op coming on multiple fronts.”

Cernovich pointed to what he described as a contradiction in messaging from Church leadership:

“The Pope plays this game where he goes, well, of course a country can have a border… But then the bishops are on 60 Minutes going, these mass deportations are inhumane. Well, how can you have a border if you don’t have deportations?”

He continued, questioning the selectivity of moral outrage:

“Where’s the Pope’s moral authority when it comes to condemning official Democrat policies on abortion? You’re not seeing it. You’re seeing an op.”

Cernovich also criticized what he sees as a broader pattern of political alignment:

“Understand that we’re being attacked by false doctrine… You have to take the straight narrow path right in between that.”

At least four prosecutors who weaponized the FACE Act under Merrick Garland and jailed Christians for praying at abortion clinics have been fired.

Nearly two dozen pro-life activists were charged with the FACE Act for praying at an abortion clinic in October 2020.

In one of the more egregious acts of abuse, the Biden DOJ convicted Paula Harlow last year of federal conspiracy against rights and FACE offenses for peacefully protesting an abortion clinic in DC back in 2020.

US District Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, a Clinton appointee, sentenced Harlow to 24 months in prison.

She was the tenth defendant to be sentenced by the Biden Regime related to the peaceful abortion protest.

Paulette Harlow, who was 75 years old at the time, participated in a peaceful protest at an abortion clinic in 2020 and didn’t hurt anyone.

According to Catholic News Agency, Harlow suffered from significant health issues. Her husband at the time feared she would die in prison.

Judge Kotelly, a Clinton appointee, mocked Paula Harlow’s Christian faith when she sentenced her to prison as her husband begged for mercy expressing his fear his wife would die alone in prison.

The judge taunted the elderly woman and mocked her Christian faith and told her to honor the “tenets” of her religion and not die in jail.

Four prosecutors from the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division were fired, according to CBS News.

CBS News reported:

The Justice Department has fired at least four prosecutors who were involved in prosecutions under the FACE Act during the Biden administration, a government official familiar with the firings told CBS News.

Among those fired Monday is Sanjay Patel, a longtime federal prosecutor in the Civil Rights Division’s criminal section who was placed on administrative leave last month, sources told CBS News at the time. The terminations occurred at about the same time a report on the FACE Act and the Biden Justice Department was being finalized.

Congress passed the FACE Act in 1994 to address rising concerns about threats and intimidation that women were facing at reproductive health clinics. Nonviolent and first-time offenses of the law are misdemeanors, while repeat offenses or violations that result in bodily injury or death can be treated as felonies.

The FACE Act report is being drafted by the Justice Department’s “weaponization working group,” established in the first days of former Attorney General Pam Bondi’s tenure.

A Justice Department spokesperson said in a statement that the department “has terminated the employment of personnel responsible for weaponizing the FACE Act who still remained at the department.”

The socialist Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez leads one of the most scandalous governments in Europe, and it’s getting worse.

Just imagine a head of government whose wife, brother, and all top party officials are under investigation for corruption, and whose party is sinking under multiple accusations of sexual assault.

Now, the situation has escalated further, as Sanchez’s wife Begoña Gómez is to face trial for influence peddling and bribery.

This comes as a hard blow to the premier in runup to the 2026 elections.

“Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s wife, Begoña Gómez, has been charged with corruption after a two-year criminal investigation, according to a court ruling.

Gómez is accused of using her relationship to advance her private career through a position at Madrid’s Complutense University. She is also accused of using public resources to advance private interests.”

“She was charged with embezzlement, influence peddling, corruption in business dealings and misappropriation of funds, the ruling said. It is now up to the courts to decide whether she will stand trial.”

PM Sanchez dismissed the allegations as ‘an attempt by the right-wing to undermine his coalition’.

“When the investigation started, Sánchez suspended public duties for five days to ‘stop and reflect’ on whether to remain in the job due to ‘the mud’ that the right and far-right were trying to drag politics into.”

Shortly after Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell resigned from Congress on Monday, GOP Rep. Tony Gonzales announced his retirement.

Rep. Gonzales was also facing expulsion from Congress after it was revealed he was having an affair with a staffer who died by suicide.

Recall that it recently came out that Tony Gonzales had an extramarital affair with a staffer who took her own life.

Last year a report came out that revealed Gonzales’ staffer who died in September after she caught on fire in her home, doused herself in gasoline and set her body on fire.

After reviewing surveillance video, authorities determined Regina Santos-Aviles was in her backyard alone when she caught fire on September 13.

Santos-Aviles was alive when first responders arrived at her home late in the evening on September 13; however, she passed away the next morning.

Firefighters also had to put out burning gas cans, according to the report obtained by Uvalde Leader-News.

Texas officials did not disclose whether Santos-Aviles deliberately set herself on fire; however, her family insists it was an accident.

“Her last words were, ‘I don’t want to die,’” a family member previously told KSAT.

Last month, Tony Gonzales admitted to having an extramarital affair with his staffer.

“I made a mistake, and I had a lapse in judgment, and there was a lack of faith, and I take full responsibility for those actions,” Gonzales said on “The Joe Pags Show” last month. “Since then, I’ve reconciled with my wife, Angel. I’ve asked God to forgive me, which he has, and my faith is as strong as ever.”

“When you make mistakes like this, it’s never easy. It humbles you,” he said.

Viktor Orbán’s concession on Sunday following Hungary’s parliamentary election removes the most consistent single-state obstacle to EU consensus on Ukraine, and in doing so raises the probability of European escalation in a conflict the continent lacks the military capacity to sustain without American backing.

Orbán conceded defeat after early results showed the opposition Tisza party on course for a two-thirds majority, with Tisza projected to win 135 of 199 seats and Fidesz taking 57. Voter turnout surpassed 77%, the highest since the fall of communism in 1989. Tisza’s leader, Péter Magyar, a former Fidesz insider who founded the party two years ago, will become prime minister.

Orbán had functioned as a structural brake on EU Ukraine policy. For more than a year, joint EU summit communiqués on Ukraine carried an asterisk noting the position “was firmly supported by 26 heads of state or government” rather than all 27, because Orbán refused to sign any statement backing Kyiv. He vetoed a €90 billion EU loan to Ukraine, tying the bloc to a dispute over a damaged pipeline carrying Russian oil. He also blocked a 6.6 billion euro lethal aid package from the EU’s European Peace Facility, satellite image sharing with Ukraine, and EU accession talks for Kyiv.

Magyar stated Monday that Hungary would maintain its opt-out from participating in the €90 billion (approximately $100 billion) loan financially but would not veto it, allowing the EU to proceed. His personal reservations about weapons transfers and Ukraine’s EU accession bid are structurally irrelevant. Measures requiring unanimity were blocked by Orbán. Magyar will not block them. The brake is gone.

The significance of Orbán’s removal is that, without a veto blocking consensus, the EU is more likely to agree on additional weapons, money, and equipment transfers to Ukraine. That trajectory increases the probability of a Russian reaction. The question is whether European leaders have accurately calculated the risk.

European behavior suggests they have not. Countries that genuinely believe they must confront a nuclear-armed adversary, the world’s number-two military power, alone would be pushing for negotiations, not escalation.

The fact that Europe continues to increase support for Ukraine and celebrates Magyar’s victory indicates European leaders privately calculate that American intervention remains available despite the Trump administration’s rhetoric. That calculation may be wrong. When the Strait of Hormuz was threatened, and European energy security was directly at stake, Europe did not mobilize a naval coalition to support the U.S.

Even if they did not want to support Trump, they should have been willing to fight for their own oil and their own self-interest, but they were not. A bloc unwilling to deploy forces to the Strait of Hormuz and face Iran, which lacks a navy, in order to protect its own oil supply, is not a bloc prepared to fight Russia, the world’s number-two military power, over Ukrainian territory.

Trump has considered withdrawing the US from NATO and has stated he no longer wants involvement in the Ukraine war. The only basis on which Europe might still expect American intervention in a full-scale war with Russia is Article 5. But Article 5 is a collective defense obligation triggered by an external attack on a member state. It does not apply if NATO member actions provoke a Russian response.

If escalating weapons transfers or intelligence support crosses Russian red lines and Moscow retaliates, the legal and political basis for invoking Article 5 becomes contested. Russia has already argued that Western weapons used to strike Russian territory constitute co-belligerence. A substantial number of European countries are not NATO members, and Russia could strike any of them without triggering Article 5 at all.

There has been a lot of hollow talk from Canada and Europe about going it alone without the U.S. Most European militaries spent three decades configured for peacekeeping and humanitarian operations, not peer warfare. Their doctrine, training, and institutional culture reflect that.

In Afghanistan, at the peak, roughly 40,000 of the 130,000 troops were non-American, the majority European. Many were restricted by their own governments from engaging in combat and instead focused on reconstruction, training, base security, and logistics. British combat deaths exceeded those of 26 other EU nations combined.

The UK suffered 454 deaths, including 404 killed in action, along with 615 seriously wounded and 2,187 wounded in action, with troop levels peaking at 9,500. In total, more than 850 non-U.S. NATO personnel were killed in Afghanistan, compared to over 2,400 Americans.

The Texas National Guard alone deployed approximately 23,000 personnel to Iraq and Afghanistan, maintained 3,000 to 5,000 troops in theater each year in an almost continuous cycle from 2001 onward, held divisional-level command in both wars, and operated without national caveats restricting combat. That is a single American state’s part-time force.

European naval capacity presents the same problem at sea. Europe fields six aircraft carriers on paper, two each for the UK and Italy, one each for France and Spain, but realistically 2-3 are operational at any given time. The Royal Navy operated without a carrier from 2014 to 2021. Spain decommissioned its dedicated carrier without replacement.

The number of UK Type 23 frigates available for operations at any given time fluctuates between five and six hulls out of eight nominally in service. During the 2011 Libya operation, against a military that was not a peer adversary, European coalition members quickly exhausted their supply of naval cruise missiles.

European nuclear submarine capacity is concentrated entirely in two countries. The UK operates 10 nuclear submarines, comprising 4 Vanguard-class ballistic missile boats and 6 nuclear attack submarines, with a sixth Astute-class commissioned in 2025 and a seventh expected in 2026. France operates 10, comprising 4 Le Triomphant-class ballistic missile submarines and 6 Barracuda-class nuclear attack submarines, with all six to be delivered by 2030 and approximately 4-5 currently operational.

Every other European country operates zero nuclear submarines. Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Denmark, and Portugal rely entirely on conventional diesel-electric boats that must surface or snorkel regularly, have limited range, and cannot sustain prolonged open-ocean operations. Europe’s total operational nuclear submarine force is approximately 18-20 vessels, split between two countries. The US Navy alone operates more than 50 nuclear submarines.

Even if Europe had the submarines, aircraft carriers, manpower, weapons, and munitions to take on Russia, European defense continues to depend on American logistics, intelligence, satellites, and nuclear deterrence. In short, Europe doesn’t stand a chance against Russia without U.S. backing.

Europe is making political decisions that increase the probability of conflict with a military power it cannot independently confront. With Orbán gone, there is no longer an institutional mechanism inside the EU to slow that process down.

Florida Senator Rick Scott has celebrated the defeat of Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Hungary.

Orban, a conservative stalwart who protected his country from the globalist forces trying to take it over, lost yesterday’s general election after 16 years in power.

Posting on the X platform, Scott said that Orban’s defeat meant that Hungarians had “chosen freedom by rejecting Putin.”

He wrote:

Congratulations to Peter Magyar, the new Prime Minister of Hungary!

The Hungarian people have chosen freedom by rejecting Putin and standing with their western allies here in the United States and in Europe.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter in the U.S. and Hungary relationship.

His comments come despite the fact that Orban was vociferously endorsed by President Trump.

Addressing the Conservative Political Action Conference in Hungary last month, Trump described Orban as a “strong leader who’s shown the entire world what’s possible when you defend your borders, your culture, your heritage, your sovereignty and your values.”

US President Donald Trump just threw his full support behind Hungarian PM Viktor Orbán ahead of the elections, sending a strong message to CPAC.

Hungary’s election was won by former Orban ally Péter Magyar and his Tisza Party.

Magyar has styled himself as a staunch globalist who will end Hungary’s relationship with Russia and restore warm relations with the European Union.

Orban, meanwhile, conceded shortly after the polls closed.

“I congratulated the victorious party,” Orban told supporters in Budapest. “We are going to serve the Hungarian nation and our homeland from opposition as well.

Orbán’s defeat and his immediate concession both cut against the repeated claim that Orbán is a fascist strongman, a narrative left-wing critics have falsely pushed for years.

He has since pledged to “regroup and continue fighting for the Hungarian people.”

Protecting our children, always a priority for people with a conscience, has been thrust into our awareness more than ever by tragic events in the news.

So what would you do if you knew of a child who was being abused by cruel parents, kept hidden from the world because her infirmities were an embarrassment?

If you lived early in the 13th century in Italy, would you have stood up for St. Margaret of Castello, patron saint of the unwanted?

Her story is almost too hard to contemplate. Born around 1287 blind, lame and apparently with dwarfism, her socially prominent parents, who had wanted a boy, were horrified thinking word would get out that their baby was less than perfect. They spread the lie that she had died at birth.

They gave her to a servant who loved and cared for her, but the servant slipped up once and almost let guests at her parents’ castle catch a glimpse of Margaret. To ensure that never happened again, her father had a single-room cell built next to a church in the forest and walled her into it. An interior window allowed Margaret to hear Mass; another window on an exterior wall let servants pass food into the girl.

The priest there discovered Margaret had a fine mind and loved God, so he spent time teaching her the faith. When her family fled from their home when she was a teenager, they took Margaret with them, only to lock her away in an underground vault near their new home.

A year later, her parents brought her to a tomb in Castello where people were said to be receiving miraculous cures of various ailments. But when their daughter was not healed, her parents literally and physically abandoned her there.
Instead of despairing, Margaret was taken in by the poor people of the city. She chose to live a life of deep faith, eventually joining the Third Order of St. Dominic, a lay religious community. She was canonized a saint on April 24, 2021.

Had they known their daughter would be born less than physically perfect, they may well have ignored the Church’s strong condemnation of abortion and sought out one of the ways to kill the child in her mother’s womb. The world never would have known St. Margaret of Castello, and we all would be poorer for it.

But if we had lived in St. Margaret’s time, and were aware that she was spending her life banished to a single-room cell, would any of us have spoken up for her? Might we have kept vigil outside her window, praying for her deliverance, or challenged her parents to end this cruel charade?

Or would we have done what so many do today both in the civil and ecclesiastical arenas, and stepped back in silence, paralyzed with fear of the elite and powerful?

It’s a key fork in the road, and it doesn’t require the drama of a 13th century saint for this choice to present itself to us. It’s there more often than we’d like, whether it’s speaking up against abortion, the Islamic terrorism of the deranged Iranian regime, transgender mutilation, the tyranny of the Democrat Party, or the complicity of compromised bishops.

What happens with this fork in the road is not hard to understand. When we see the injustice, a voice of protest (a well-formed conscience) arises within us. “No!” it shouts, “this is unjust and cannot be tolerated!”

Then, either we heed the voice and do something about it, keeping in mind that we will suffer as a result, or we mute the voice of protest and begin giving ourselves all kinds of reasons why we cannot intervene.

And in either case, the choice we make becomes easier to make the next time we face such a decision.

The Church canonizes saints in order to have us follow their example of heroic virtue, and Margaret of Castello is no exception. But when I think of this Patron of the Unwanted, it seems to me that the challenge flows even more from considering what was done to her, and what the appropriate reaction to it should have been.

Because we face that fork in the road every single day.

The House Ethics Committee on Monday launched an investigation into Democrat Eric Swalwell amid allegations of sexual assault.

Pursuant to Committee Rule 7, the Chairman and Ranking Member of the Committee on Ethics (Committee) determined to release the following statement:

The Committee, pursuant to Committee Rule 18(a), has begun an investigation and will gather additional information regarding the allegations that Representative Eric Swalwell violated the Code of Official Conduct or any law, rule, regulation, or other applicable standard of conduct in the performance of his duties or the discharge of his responsibilities, with respect to allegations that he may have engaged in sexual misconduct, including towards an employee working under his supervision.

The Committee notes that the mere fact that it is investigating these allegations, and publicly disclosing its review, does not itself indicate that any violation has occurred. No other public comment will be made on this matter except in accordance with Committee rules.

Eric Swalwell on Sunday evening dropped out of the California Governor’s race amid allegations of sexual assault.

Swalwell apologized to his family, staffers, and supporters and vowed to fight the “false allegations” against him.

The Manhattan District Attorney has also launched an investigation into Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell over serious allegations of sexual assault.

The San Francisco Chronicle on Friday published a story about a woman who claimed that Democrat Eric Swalwell sexually assaulted her twice.

The woman, who worked as a staffer in Swalwell’s office for two years, told The San Francisco Chronicle that Swalwell began pursuing her just weeks after she was hired at the age of 21 in 2019.

After the San Francisco Chronicle dropped its bombshell report on Swalwell, three additional women spoke to CNN and provided evidence about alleged additional misconduct by the California Democrat.

The Swalwell staffer said she was sexually assaulted by Swalwell in 2019.

The staffer also said Swalwell raped her years later in 2024 after she left his employment.

‘If we don’t do this, we will not be able to control the population’, Vélez said. ‘We have to take this action to preserve our ecosystems’.”

Only in Colombia will you find a wild hippo population outside of Africa.

On Monday, President Trump ordered DoorDash to the Oval Office to highlight his ‘No Tax on Tips’ policy as part of the “One Big Beautiful Bill.”

DoorDash driver Sharon Simmons, AKA, “DoorDash Grandma” delivered McDonald’s to the Oval Office during the President’s surprise remarks to celebrate Simmons’ tax refund as a result of the bill.

On July 4th, 2025, President Trump made history by signing the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” delivering what many politicians have promised but never achieved: true tax relief for the middle class.

White House projections suggest a family of four could save between $10,000 and $13,300. A distributional analysis by the nonpartisan Joint Committee on Taxation estimates the bill provides over $600 billion in middle-class tax relief, with the largest proportional benefits going to households earning under $50,000.

This benefits approximately 4 million workers in jobs like waitressing, barbering, hairstyling, and taxi driving. Additionally, the bill increases income for more than 80 million hourly workers by up to $1,750 by eliminating income taxes on the overtime pay premium.

President Trump noted, “The reason for this is the fact that I heard you picked up an extra $11,000 that you didn’t think you’d get because the tax bill was so big, the refund was the biggest you’ve ever had, is that a correct statement?”

Simmons responded, “It definitely was. I saved over $11,000 by not having to claim.”

The President asked, “Was that surprising to you, actually?”

She replied, “It was very surprising.”

In July 2025, the grandmother of 10, who has completed more than 12,000 deliveries, testified before the House Ways and Means Committee at a field hearing in Las Vegas on pro-worker tax relief.

She shared how the policy (which includes Dashers and other delivery drivers) would let her keep hundreds to thousands of extra dollars annually from tips/earnings.

She said during the hearing,“That’s why I’m very excited that Congress took action to include Dashers and other independent contractors in the No Tax on Tips.”

“For someone like me, that means hundreds or potentially thousands of dollars that stay in my pocket every year.”

“I plan to use these tax savings to cover follow-up medical visits for my husband and to travel to Missouri to see my mom, my kids, and my grandchildren.”

Folks, as I keep saying, we need a “Great American National Divorce.”

Admit it. You know I’m right. It’s just not working anymore. We can’t live with people this radical, reckless, dangerous and just plain crazy.

I’m referring to Democrats, of course.

They hate America…they hate Republicans…they hate normal people- like fathers, mothers, families, churchgoers…they hate anyone who has achieved success and wealth, or who owns a business…they hate police and military…they hate white people….and they reserve the most hate of all for American citizens (anyone born in the USA).

To Democrats, if you’re American, a law-abiding citizen, and normal, you are the enemy.

Sorry, but there is no way to compromise with people this crazy. We need a separation, followed by an official divorce.

I’m talking about a divorce between the good daddy (The Red States of America) and the crazy liberal mommy with the pink pussy hat (The Blue States of America).

As bad as The Peoples Communist Republic of California is…and it’s bad…

New York, Colorado and Minnesota proved this week they are in fierce competition for the title of the worst, most radical, most weird, most communist, unAmerican state in America.

And the sad part is, I haven’t even mentioned Illinois.

If the things you’re doing are so bad, and weird, and evil, that Illinois doesn’t even enter the conversation- man, are you spiraling to the bottom!

Here are just a few stories from this past week that showcase the evil and insanity of the left…

In New York City, communist and radical Muslim Mayor Zohran Mamdani is proposing new taxes on white neighborhoods- to make sure white people, upon death, won’t be able to pass their life’s assets onto their children. I kid you not.

If you’re white, and you have worked your ass off your entire life, and achieved even a small measure of success, Mamdani and his communist comrades want what’s yours. They believe your life’s work and wealth belongs to government, not your children.

Especially not white children.

By the way, this new tax violates the US Constitution. No law, or tax, or government edict, can ever be based on race.

But even that pales in comparison to how New York is now treating its police officers. A veteran police sergeant was sentenced last week to up to 9 years in prison because he killed a drug dealer racing away from his crime.

The brilliant, brave and creative police sergeant made a split-second decision, to protect innocent bystanders. The drug dealer crashed his motorcycle and died. The cop- a married father of three- is now going to prison for up to 9 years for manslaughter. You know what happens to a cop in prison? This hero is being sent to hell.

All NYPD police officers need to retire or resign immediately. No cop can do his job in New York anymore.

If I were Mayor, I’d have given this cop a medal, a promotion, the key to the city, and a ticker tape parade down Broadway!

Then there’s Minneapolis, Minnesota- “the land of a thousand lakes” is now “the land of gay Somali immigrants having public sex.”

Gay bathhouses were banned 38 years ago because they spread AIDS. Now 38 years later, crazy Minnesota is bringing back gay bathhouses where gay men can legally have sex in public. But the really crazy part is- they’re doing it just to appease gay Somali immigrants.

Think of what kind of mass disease this will lead to- perhaps a perfect super bug of AIDS, monkey pox and syphilis, mixed with Covid. Yuck.

Finally, we come to perhaps the worst story of all.

We all know Colorado is bad. But I never imagined “worse-than-California-bad.” I believe the evil, vile, criminal communists who run Colorado are rigging and stealing their elections. It’s just my opinion, but it’s clear to me they’ve figured out how to steal elections with a combination of rigged voting machines and illegal alien voting.

Colorado Election official Tina Peters witnessed the rigged machines. So, she saved the proof. For this she was arrested, convicted and sent to prison for 9 years. NINE YEARS. For a Gold star mom in her seventies- while she has cancer.

But that’s not the worst story out of Colorado.

As of March 30th, it’s now the law- every attorney in Colorado must sign a radical anti-ICE pledge under penalty of perjury, that they will never use or share any information from court records to assist ICE.

And this isn’t aimed only at immigration attorneys. It applies to all lawyers in Colorado- corporate lawyers, divorce lawyers, personal injury lawyers, estate planning lawyers. All of them.

If you want to practice law in Colorado, you must agree under penalty of perjury that you WILL break the law, protect illegal alien criminals, aid and abet felons, and violate the US Constitution. If not, kiss your legal career goodbye.

So, Colorado is demanding all lawyers become criminals!

Folks, all of these stories from this past week prove that Democrats hate cops, and laws, and the US Constitution, and normal people, so much, they are willing to send cops to prison…and lawyers to prison…and Gold Star moms to prison…

ANYTHING necessary to protect illegal aliens, gay illegal aliens, drug dealers, and rigged, stolen elections.

New York, Minnesota and Colorado are trying desperately to surpass California for the title of the worst, most radical, most weird, most communist, unAmerican state in America.

And that my friends, is why we need a “GREAT AMERICAN NATIONAL DIVORCE.”

I don’t know about you, but I can’t live with these people anymore.

The FBI on Monday morning raided the home of the 20-year-old suspect accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail at Sam Altman’s home.

The 20-year-old suspect, identified as Daniel Moreno-Gama, threw a Molotov cocktail at OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s San Francisco home last Friday morning.

Moreno-Gama was taken into custody last week.

Nobody was hurt.

According to OpenAI, Moreno-Gama also made threats outside of its San Francisco headquarters very early Friday morning.

The FBI raided Moreno-Gama’s Texas home on Monday morning.

According to Fox News, Moreno-Gama had a manifesto document on him at the time of his arrest.

The manifesto had a list of other AI CEOs and their investors with their names and addresses, according to Fox.

Federal charges against Moreno-Gama will be filed today.

Fox News is also reported that Moreno-Gama’s attack was driven by “anti-AI views.”

President Donald Trump is once again taking heat from the media and even some allies after posting an AI-generated image that critics rushed to label “blasphemous.”

The controversy erupted after Trump shared an image on Truth Social depicting himself in flowing robes, appearing to heal a man, imagery that many in the media immediately framed as “Christ-like.”

The since-deleted image was shared on Orthodox Easter Sunday right after Trump torched the weak-on-crime, America-bashing Pope Leo XIV for criticizing U.S. and Israeli policy in Iran.

Riley Gaines, a vocal supporter of Trump wrote on X:

And only the fake news could come up with that one. So I had—I just heard about it, and I said, “How did they come up with that?” It’s supposed to be me as a doctor making people better. And I do make people better—I make people a lot better.

A federal judge on Monday dismissed President Trump’s $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal.

Florida-based US District Judge Darrin Gayles, an Obama appointee, gave President Trump a chance to refile the lawsuit.

Trump’s legal team told Fox News that it will refile the lawsuit.

“President Trump will follow Judge Gayles’ ruling and guidance to refile this powerhouse lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal and all of the other Defendants. The President will continue to hold accountable those who traffic in fake news to mislead the American people,” a spokesman for Trump’s legal team told Fox News Digital.

President Donald Trump’s $10 billion defamation lawsuit against The Wall Street Journal over a story on his ties to late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein was dismissed by a federal judge on Monday.

Trump filed the lawsuit last year after The Wall Street Journal published a July article claiming Trump signed a sexually suggestive letter that was included in a 2003 album compiled for Epstein’s 50th birthday. The letter was subsequently released publicly by Congress, which subpoenaed the records from Epstein’s estate.

U.S. District Judge Darrin Gayles in Florida wrote in the order that Trump had failed to make the argument that the article was published with the intent to be malicious, but he gave the president a chance to file an amended complaint.

Last July, President Trump filed a libel lawsuit against Dow Jones, News Corp, Rupert Murdoch, and two Wall Street Journal reporters after the Wall Street Journal dropped a Jeffrey Epstein hit piece.

The case was filed in a Miami federal court.

The president also warned Iran to strike a deal or else.

After the police and military crackdown backfired, now the Irish government is trying to bargain: more than €500 million in tax cuts on motor fuel has been announced, ‘in an attempt to placate protesters snarling key ports and roadways’.

Jackson Warne, the son of legendary Australian cricketer Shane Warne, joined 2WorldsPodcast to discuss his father’s untimely death at just 52 years old. Jackson claims that the fatal heart attack that killed his father in 2022 is likely linked to the COVID-19 vaccinations he says were mandatory for sports professionals.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Australian cricket legend, Shane Warne, died of a heart attack last March 4th, 2022, while on a ‘boys holiday’ at Koh Samui, Thailand.

Warne, 52, was found unresponsive in his hotel room by one of his friends, who tried to wake him up for dinner, and performed CPR for 20 minutes to revive Warne before the ambulance arrived, according to

Warne was rushed to Thai International Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:56 pm.

Jackson shared during the podcast, “I definitely think that it was involved. I don’t even think saying that is controversial anymore. Even if dad had underlying health issues, I think this brought it straight to the surface.”

“My first impression, as soon as I hung up the phone, I instantly blamed the government. I instantly blamed Covid and the vaccine.’

He continued, “He was forced to get them like everybody else. Dad wasn’t the only person.”

“When dad passed, he was probably the most famous Australian that people could go, ‘yep, that’s Covid,’ but I try not to think about it too much because all that does is fester into anger. That anger is not good for anybody.”

“If something comes out like this again, at least we’re more awake, at least we’re more aware. If dad had underlying health issues, maybe he was going to have a heart attack at 65, 70, but I think this just brought it all to the surface.”

Following Warne’s death, distinguished cardiologists Dr. Aseem Malhotra from the UK and Dr. Chris Neil (President, Australian Medical Professional Society) stepped forward to shed some light on the situation, asserting that his death was likely precipitated due to the Covid mRNA vaccine he had received around nine months prior to his death, Daily Sceptic reported.

Upon examining the post-mortem report of Warne, Dr. Malhotra and Dr. Neil discovered that the cricket legend suffered from coronary atherosclerosis, a form of heart disease. This finding paved the way for the doctors’ further investigation, which revealed a concerning link between the Covid mRNA vaccine and the rapid progression of coronary disease.

Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Aseem Malhotra said via Daily Sceptic:

It’s quite unusual for former international sportsmen to suffer a sudden cardiac death at such a young age, 52. At the same time we also know Shane didn’t have the healthiest lifestyle in recent years, being both overweight and a smoker. It’s likely that some mild underlying furring of his arteries (as I’ve seen with my own patients and how my father died) rapidly progressed in the months after he received two doses of the Pfizer mRNA Covid vaccine.

Published research already reveals the plausible biological mechanism of this occurring through increasing coronary inflammation that can last for months after the vaccine has been administered.

Other data on adverse cardiac effects including heart attack is extensive, derived from randomised controlled trials, high quality observational data, pharmacovigilance reports, clinical data and autopsy data. The evidence for common and serious adverse cardiac effects from these jabs is overwhelming and I have no doubt that a major contributor to the excess deaths we are seeing around the world including in Australia is because of the Covid mRNA vaccines.

There needs to be an immediate suspension of their use worldwide pending an investigation to stop further people being harmed and dying unnecessarily.

Cardiologist and President of the Australian Medical Professionals’ Society, Dr. Christopher Neil said:

Having critically appraised the evidence, including adverse event data administered by our own Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), it is clear to me that the Covid vaccines can adversely affect the cardiovascular system in more ways than just myocarditis and pericarditis, as serious as they can be. Looking at the data, 20% of all notifications of heart attacks as suspected drug reactions ever reported to the TGA over 52 years have nominated a Covid vaccine as the suspected medicine. Most of these reports were made by doctors, so we know that many – including cardiologists – are concerned. Most were also mRNA vaccines, not AstraZeneca. Interestingly, the number of heart attacks reported in association with Covid vaccines in the past two years well exceeds the number for Vioxx, a drug previous removed internationally because of excess heart attack risk. These signals are a call for critical attention and we will be releasing a series of pharmacovigilance reports, starting with one on cardiovascular adverse events.

Anti-ICE advocates do anything and everything they can to try to paint law enforcement in a bad light, even peddle a false story.

Now, Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt is suing an Illinois woman and a politician for defamation after her story about being transferred to Schmidt’s jurisdiction in Wisconsin for an immigration hold has unraveled.

Illinois resident Sundas Naqvi, 28, a U.S.-born citizen, garnered national attention last month after she and five traveling companions returned to the U.S. on March 5 from a work trip.

Naqvi claims she was held by U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents at O’Hare International Airport for 30+ hours, and was then moved to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Broadview, Illinois, before finally being transferred to the Dodge County Jail in Wisconsin. She claims she was ultimately released without her belongings.

Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison affirmed her claims, telling WISN 12 News at the time, “They have been lying from the very start of this. I don’t think they want to own up to the fact that, once again, they have illegally detained an American citizen without due process.”

The story was used as an example to slander ICE with accusations of indiscriminately arresting Americans, and was amplified on social media.

Sundas (Sunny) Naqvi, a 28-year-old South Asian-origin #US citizen, was detained by the Department of Homeland Security for 43 hours over what her attorney believed was a “curious travel history”.

Naqvi’s story, however, quickly unraveled.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and CBP released photos and security footage showing Naqvi entering a secondary inspection at O’Hare and then leaving the area on her own shortly afterward.

DHS noted on X, “HERE ARE THE RECEIPTS: As we said Sunny Naqvi entered the CBP area at 10:21 am.”

“Surveillance footage from O’Hare CLEARLY shows her entering secondary inspection at 10:46 a.m., and leaving secondary to the public area at 11:42 a.m.”

“Her claims of spending 43 hours in DHS custody are FALSE.”

Sheriff Schmidt investigated Naqvi’s claims and uncovered that hotel records show she checked into the Hampton Inn & Suites in Rosemont, Illinois, near the airport, for the duration of the alleged detention.

Additionally, surveillance footage and other records place her in Wisconsin with an acquaintance (including shopping at a gas station), not in custody.

Sheriff Schmidt stated that she was never in Dodge County Sheriff’s custody, nor was she ever transported across state lines by authorities, and his office has compiled evidence that can be viewed here.

On April 10, 2026, Sheriff Schmidt filed a $1 million defamation lawsuit against Naqvi and Morrison in federal court, alleging they spread false claims that damaged his and the department’s reputation.

According to CBS News Schmidt stated, “I don’t have any charges here in Dodge County to bring against her. My only recourse is to make sure that the public knows that she can’t do this.”

The Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne, a 125-year-old non-profit order, filed a lawsuit on April 6, 2026, challenging a New York state law requiring long-term care facilities to base pronouns, room assignments, and restroom use on gender identity. Liberals claim conservatives reject biology, but laws forcing the assertion that men can become women because they “identify” as such represent a direct attack on reality, science, and religion.

The Bible is unambiguous on the question. Genesis 1:27 states, “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them,” and Deuteronomy 22:5 states, “The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God.”

Science is equally unambiguous. Men have XY chromosomes, male genitalia, and male reproductive organs, while women have XX chromosomes, female genitalia, and female reproductive organs. Chromosomal sex is established at fertilization and is present in every cell of the body, where it cannot be changed by surgery, hormones, or legal declaration. A biological male cannot become pregnant, and a biological female cannot father a child. This is why medical records based on biological sex are clinically necessary, as chromosomal reality affects every system in the body.

The Dominican Sisters run Rosary Hill Home in Hawthorne, New York, a 42-bed facility providing free skilled nursing care to indigent cancer patients in their final days. The sisters accept no insurance or government funds and charge patients nothing, relying entirely on private donors.

The lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Governor Kathy Hochul and the state Department of Health. The law, the LGBTQ Long-Term Care Facility Residents’ Bill of Rights, requires nursing homes to assign patient rooms based on gender identity even over a roommate’s objection, use preferred pronouns including when the patient is not present, allow restroom access based on gender identity, and post public notices of compliance.

The state sent the sisters three “Dear Administrator Letters” in March 2024, October 2024, and January 2025, notifying them of their obligation to comply. The sisters stated they have not complied, and do not intend to.

The law applies to all licensed nursing homes in New York State, with the trigger being the state license to operate rather than the receipt of state funding. Courts have generally allowed the government to attach conditions to public funding, but applying mandates to private religious organizations that take no public funds is a significantly harder legal argument for the state, and more likely to be seen as direct infringement on religious freedom and free speech. New York granted an exemption to facilities run by the Church of Christ, Scientist, but not to Catholic institutions.

During a four-year reporting period, Rosary Hill Home received zero complaints from residents, compared to more than 55,000 complaints against other New York nursing homes over the same period. The sisters’ lawyer, L. Martin Nussbaum, noted that in over 125 years the sisters have never once had a patient seeking to transition, making the mandate a case of the state requiring the sisters to be trained in an ideology entirely contrary to Catholic belief despite no practical basis for the requirement.

The lawsuit asks the court to declare the mandate a violation of the sisters’ First and Fourteenth Amendment rights and to block enforcement while the case proceeds.

The First Amendment protects not only the right to speak but the right not to be compelled to say things one disagrees with. In 303 Creative v. Elenis (2023), the Supreme Court ruled that Colorado could not force a Christian web designer to create websites celebrating same-sex marriages, holding that compelling someone to speak a message that violates their beliefs is unconstitutional even when the state frames it as an anti-discrimination measure.

In Burwell v. Hobby Lobby (2014), the Court established that religious exercise extends to how an organization operates, not just what it professes. In Fulton v. City of Philadelphia (2021), the Court ruled unanimously that the city could not exclude Catholic Social Services from its foster care program over its religious beliefs, with the Court specifically sensitive to selective exemptions, exactly the mechanism New York employed by exempting Christian Scientists while excluding Catholics.

The combination of compelled speech, selective exemption, and no public funding places the state in a weak legal position on all three fronts.

The case is also a medical integrity argument that requires no religious belief to sustain. Male and female bodies differ in hormone profiles and medication response, cardiovascular disease presentation, drug metabolism, cancer risk, bone density, immune response, and surgical anatomy.

If a hospital records a biological male as female, every downstream clinical decision, including dosing, screening, and risk assessment, is built on false data. Medical records are legal documents, and a biological male recorded as female will not be flagged for prostate screening, may receive incorrect drug dosing, and creates emergency care confusion for physicians who need accurate biological information immediately. The British Medical Journal and other peer-reviewed publications have documented cases where transgender patients received incorrect care precisely because recorded gender did not match biological sex.

Room assignment by gender identity rather than biological sex creates privacy violations for patients who did not consent to share a room with someone of the opposite biological sex, safety risks for elderly, cognitively impaired, or terminally ill patients who cannot advocate for themselves, and confusion around personal care duties that in nursing home settings involve intimate physical care.

If a care facility is legally required to treat a patient as the gender they declare, the logical endpoint has no principled stopping point. A patient declaring a different age, a different medical history, or a different diagnosis would be overruled by clinical fact. Biological sex is equally a clinical fact, and there is no coherent medical argument for treating it differently from other objective biological data.

The Dominican Sisters are right based on reality, science, and religion. However, in a liberal state like New York, the court may ignore all of that and rule against them.

Pope Leo XIV has responded to President Trump’s explosive social media message last night, which attacked his woke politics and glaring hypocrisy.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump delivered a blistering takedown of Pope Leo XIV, the first American-born pontiff, slamming the Vatican leader as weak on crime, disastrous on foreign policy, and far too cozy with the radical left.

Trump also noted that he recently hosted the Pope’s brother, Louis, at the White House, a man who actually understands the MAGA movement.

“Pope Leo is WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy. He talks about “fear” of the Trump Administration, but doesn’t mention the FEAR that the Catholic Church, and all other Christian Organizations, had during COVID when they were arresting priests, ministers, and everybody else, for holding Church Services, even when going outside, and being ten and even twenty feet apart.

I like his brother Louis much better than I like him, because Louis is all MAGA. He gets it, and Leo doesn’t!

I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s OK for Iran to have a Nuclear Weapon. I don’t want a Pope who thinks it’s terrible that America attacked Venezuela, a Country that was sending massive amounts of Drugs into the United States and, even worse, emptying their prisons, including murderers, drug dealers, and killers, into our Country.

When asked by the Associated Press this morning about Trump’s pose, Pope Leo XIV refused to back down. He stated that he is sharing the message of the Gospel and suggested that Trump had no clue of its meaning.

The pope went on to say he did not view his role as a politician, but he would continue to speak his mind on inherently political matters such as war and multilateral foreign policy.

When President Trump announced on Truth Social that the U.S. Navy would blockade “any and all Ships trying to enter, or leave, the Strait of Hormuz,” he also instructed the Navy to interdict vessels that had paid tolls to Iran and to destroy mines Iran had placed in the waterway.

CENTCOM subsequently clarified the actual scope: the blockade applies to vessels entering or departing Iranian ports and coastal areas and does not affect ships transiting the strait to and from non-Iranian ports. The blockade is therefore a naval embargo on Iranian trade, not a closure of the strait to international shipping generally.

Trump took the action in response to Iran’s “world extortion.” The IRGC had imposed a de facto toll regime in the strait. The Tehran regime said that vessels would be required to submit documentation, obtain clearance codes, and accept IRGC-escorted passage through a single controlled corridor. Trump’s goal was to stop Iran from policing the strait and profiting from its closure while the rest of the world absorbed the economic damage.

Neither the U.S. nor Israel is dependent on oil transiting the Strait of Hormuz. Around the globe, the U.S. is the primary enforcer of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), maintaining freedom of navigation for all countries. Trump’s request for Europe and other allies to support U.S. freedom-of-navigation patrols in the Strait of Hormuz was rejected.

Europe’s argument was that the U.S. took action against Iran unilaterally and therefore could not expect European support. President Trump’s position is that the U.S. has spent trillions defending Europe and keeping sea lanes open around the globe for 70 years, and it was reasonable to ask for reciprocity.

Instead, Europe blames Trump for the Hormuz closure, completely ignoring the fact that it is the IRGC, not the U.S., that has closed the strait.

Their refusal to help reopen it is a classic example of cutting off your nose to spite your face, since Europe’s energy supplies are at stake, not America’s. However, anger at Trump is mobilizing Europe to form a coalition to protect the Strait from America rather than from Iran.

At the same time, the IRGC warned that military vessels approaching the strait would be dealt with harshly. It is unclear whether the IRGC will allow European ships to counter American vessels. Either way, we are now in an upside-down world where Europe is siding with Iran, while Iran is threatening to sink European ships.

The Western media has also stopped reporting on atrocities committed by the IRGC, including executions of protesters during this ceasefire period. The media seems to have forgotten that over the past 47 years, Tehran has supported thousands of terrorist attacks through the IRGC and its proxies. The press has also stopped focusing on the missile and drone program that is currently threatening global shipping.

Not only is the world ignoring the IRGC’s repression of women, gays, and minorities, but the UN has nominated Iran to the Committee for Program and Coordination, a body that helps shape policy on human rights, disarmament, and terrorism prevention. UN Watch reported that the United States was the only member to dissociate itself from the decision.

They are also ignoring the fact that it is illegal under international law for the IRGC to charge a toll for the use of the Strait of Hormuz. Instead, they are fighting for their “right” to buy sanctioned oil and pay an illegal toll to Tehran.

The European response contains a significant contradiction. The EU has a legal ban on importing Iranian oil, reimposed under the sanctions snapback triggered in August 2025 by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, which restored six UN Security Council resolutions covering nuclear and missile technology, arms, travel bans, asset freezes, and bans on the import, purchase, and transport of crude oil and petroleum products.

European ships cannot legally buy Iranian crude under EU law. The freedom of navigation Europe is mobilizing to defend therefore applies not to European purchasers but to third-party nations, primarily Asian buyers, transiting the strait without U.S. interdiction.

Canada, Australia, and New Zealand maintain similar frameworks, each prohibiting their citizens and entities from purchasing Iranian oil, with New Zealand adding a compulsory business registration scheme for any dealings with Iran in February 2026.

Peace talks in Islamabad collapsed after more than 21 hours of negotiations. Vice President Vance, who led the U.S. delegation, said Iran refused to commit to abandoning its nuclear ambitions.

Europe, however, now appears willing to tolerate both Iran’s nuclear program and its closure of the Strait of Hormuz, simply because Trump is taking action to resolve both problems permanently by removing the IRGC from power.

Lefty casino and timeshare mogul Stephen Cloobeck, who once called Swalwell his “little brother” and poured over $1 million into his flailing campaign for California governor, has dramatically cut all ties and kicked the serial liar out of his luxurious $26 million Beverly Hills mansion.

Cloobeck is now demanding every penny of his cash back after explosive new allegations that Swalwell sexually assaulted multiple women, including a former staffer who claims the Democrat raped her while she was too drunk to consent, the New York Post reported.

The Gateway Pundit reported last month that Swalwell has been missing votes in Congress while running for California governor, spending his time hanging out at a multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills mansion owned by one of his top campaign donors.

Swalwell has visited the lavish 9,700-square-foot estate on Roxbury Drive on at least 10 different days since September.

The property, owned by Las Vegas timeshare mogul Stephen Cloobeck, features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a tennis court, double gates, and luxury artwork that Swalwell has used as a backdrop for social media videos and TV interviews.

Congressional records show Swalwell missed House floor votes on at least three days when he posted content from the mansion.

Swalwell missed more votes in 2025 than any other active member of Congress, more than even the late Rep. Raúl Grijalva, who died in March.

Cloobeck has been a major backer of Swalwell’s gubernatorial campaign. He contributed $1 million to a supporting committee, provided resources from his own short-lived 2025 governor bid, and previously spent $31,000 on a trip flying Swalwell to Nice, France, according to congressional gift reports. Cloobeck has publicly referred to Swalwell as his “Little Brother” and confirmed the use of his home for campaign work, saying of one televised hit, “That’s my backdrop. Mi casa, su casa.”

The visits occurred during key moments in Swalwell’s campaign, including the October government shutdown, his November campaign rollout, a December campaign stop, and multiple days in January.

Now, according to an explosive New York Post report, Cloobeck confronted the congressman and told him to get the hell out.

The billionaire is done with the entire corrupt Democrat Party, stating, “F— the Democratic Party… I’m a libertarian now.”

He added, “I’m going to change my god d— party affiliation, because I cannot stand this Democratic Party at all… I am done. Finito.”

This comes just hours before Swalwell was forced to suspend his pathetic bid for California governor amid a growing pile of sexual misconduct claims from at least four women.
