In den USA flossen mehrere Millionen Dollar von einer linken „Bürgerrechtsorganisation“ an den Ku-Klux-Klan und auch an andere Neonazigruppen. Ziel war es offensichtlich, die rassistische Organisation weiter wachsen zu lassen, um daraus politisches Kapital zu schlagen. Aussteigewillige wurden sogar dafür bezahlt, weiter Mitglied zu bleiben.
Wie Report24 bereits im April berichtete, wurde gegen die linke „Bürgerrechtsorganisation“ Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) wegen Betrugs, Geldwäsche und systematischer Täuschung von Spendern ermittelt und Anklage erhoben. Nun wurde laut der New York Post im US-Bundesstaat Alabama eine ergänzende Anklageschrift eingereicht. Darin werden die Fälle mehrerer Informanten aus dem Ku-Klux-Klan (KKK) geschildert, die mit Geldern bezahlt wurden, welche das SPLC von Spendern unter dem Vorwand eingesammelt hatte, „Hass und Ungerechtigkeit aufzudecken“ sowie um „Diskriminierung zu bekämpfen“.
Zwei Klan-Mitglieder, die in der Anklageschrift lediglich als F-31 und F-32 bezeichnet werden, wandten sich demnach im Jahr 2010 aus Angst um ihre Sicherheit an das SPLC und wollten den Ku-Klux-Klan verlassen. Anstatt ihnen beim Ausstieg zu helfen, sollen sie laut Staatsanwaltschaft über eine Scheinfirma namens „Rare Books Warehouse“ monatlich 1.200 Dollar plus Spesen erhalten haben, damit sie im Klan blieben. Doch das ist noch nicht alles: So wurde ein Teil des Geldes laut der Anklage dazu verwendet, neue Mitglieder für die rassistische Organisation anzuwerben und die berüchtigten weißen Klan-Kapuzengewänder herzustellen.
Mehr noch wurden von der SPLC auch sämtliche Kosten für die Kreuzverbrennungsveranstaltungen erstattet – Holz und Brennstoff inklusive. Hinzu kommen Gelder zur Begleichung von Kosten für Versammlungen, die Gründung neuer Ortsgruppen, die Veröffentlichung rassistischer Propagandamaterialien sowie anderer extremistischer Literatur. Dies alles soll bereits seit den 1980er-Jahren dazu gedient haben, solche Gruppen zu infiltrieren. Nach Angaben der Bundesbehörden nutzte die Organisation dabei gezielt fiktive Unternehmen, um vor ihren Spendern zu verschleiern, dass zwischen 2014 und 2023 insgesamt 4,1 Millionen Dollar an sogenannte „Feldquellen“ gezahlt wurden.
Darunter befinden sich auch ein „Imperial Wizard“ des KKK, sowie ein Leiter einer Chatgruppe, die die rechte Demonstration „Unite the Right“ im Jahr 2017 in Charlottesville im US-Bundesstaat Virginia geleitet hatte. Eine weitere Quelle – die sich angeblich in einer romantischen Beziehung mit einem SPLC-Mitarbeiter befand – erhielt 1,2 Millionen Dollar für Aktivitäten, darunter den Diebstahl von 25 Kisten mit Dokumenten der neonazistischen Organisation National Alliance. Im selben Zeitraum, in dem die Informanten mit gewaschenem Geld bezahlt worden sein sollen, stiegen die Einnahmen des SPLC laut Staatsanwaltschaft um 233 Prozent – von 38,7 Millionen Dollar im Jahr 2010 auf 129,1 Millionen Dollar im Jahr 2023. Auch das Nettovermögen der Organisation wuchs in diesem Zeitraum erheblich: von mehr als 238 Millionen Dollar im Jahr 2010 auf über 786 Millionen Dollar im Jahr 2023.
Zwar behaupten die Anwälte, die gesammelten Informationen durch diese Informanten hätten auch zu Verurteilungen von „gewalttätigen Extremisten“ geführt – doch eigentlich ist es die Aufgabe der Strafverfolgungsbehörden, solche Informanten zu gewinnen oder Undercover-Polizisten zu platzieren. Mehr noch hat die finanzielle Unterstützung den Ku-Klux-Klan auch noch stärker gemacht, anstatt ihn zu schwächen. Und das alles nur, um noch mehr Spendengelder im „Kampf gegen rechts“ zu kassieren und diesen in der Öffentlichkeit rechtfertigen zu können.

Newly released police bodycam footage is intensifying scrutiny of local police after officers handcuffed an 18-year-old university student who repeatedly told them he had been stabbed and could not breathe moments before dying on a Southampton street.
The video, released Monday following the murder conviction of 23-year-old Vickrum Digwa, shows Henry Nowak telling officers, "I’ve been stabbed" and "I can’t breathe" while lying on the ground after the Dec. 3, 2025, attack.
One officer responded: "I don’t think you have, mate," according to the video.
Police handcuffed Nowak after Digwa claimed he had been the victim of a racist assault, according to court proceedings previously reported by Sky News.

Reuters reported that officers later removed the handcuffs and attempted CPR after realizing Nowak had suffered serious stab wounds.
Digwa was sentenced Monday to life in prison after being convicted of murdering the 18-year-old University of Southampton finance student with a 21-centimeter blade prosecutors described as a Sikh kirpan-style weapon.

The case has sparked political backlash in Britain and renewed debate over policing, race and knife crime.
In a statement read outside court Monday, Nowak’s father, Mark Nowak, said his son repeatedly pleaded for help before losing consciousness.
"Henry had been stabbed multiple times, and as his chest filled with blood, he tried to escape. He was chased, abused, and filmed by Vickrum Digwa and others," Mark Nowak said, according to Reuters. "When police arrived, Henry was lying on the floor, barely able to sit up and plainly in severe medical distress."
"With his final words, he told officers that he could not breathe. He told them he had been stabbed," Mark Nowak said, according to Reuters. "The response from one officer was ‘I don’t think you have, mate,’" he added.
Mark Nowak said the family held Digwa "solely and 100% responsible" for their son's death, but criticized the police, saying, "Henry should not have died on the streets of Southampton in police custody. The way he was treated was inhumane and degrading."
Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, said the case showed "the fear of being called racist was greater than dealing with Henry Nowak’s murder," according to Reuters.

Reform UK MP Robert Jenrick also called for the release of body-worn camera footage and accused authorities of prioritizing allegations of racism over saving Nowak’s life during an appearance on GB News.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Keir Starmer described the killing as "an awful, shocking case" and said it was right that the Independent Office for Police Conduct investigate the police response.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary, the police force responsible for policing Southampton and surrounding areas in southern England, previously apologized after the conviction, with Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Robert France saying he was sorry that Nowak had been handcuffed "in the moments before he lost consciousness," according to Sky News.
The police force remains under investigation by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.
Fox News Digital reached out to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary for comment but did not receive a response.

als ich vor einem halben Jahr einen offenen Brief an Sie schrieb, forderte ich Deutschland auf, Diplomatie mit Russland zu betreiben, anstatt die Normalisierung des Krieges. Sechs Monate später ist die Lage in Europa dramatisch schlechter. Europa und Russland rutschen in einen offenen Krieg. Und in diesem Drift, Kanzler, liegt Ihre einzigartige Verantwortung. Kein europäischer Führer – nicht in Paris, nicht in Warschau, nicht in Rom – vertritt die Position, die Deutschland innehat, oder hat die Macht, die Sie persönlich innehaben, um diese Katastrophe zu unterbrechen. Werden Sie sich für den Frieden einsetzen?
Sie selbst, mit Ministerpräsident Meloni und Präsident Macron, haben im Januar 2026 gefordert, dass Europa die Beziehungen zu Russland wieder aufnehmen soll und Russland als „ein europäisches Land“ bezeichnet haben. Dennoch haben Sie keine Diplomatie betrieben. Angesichts der Tatsache, dass die Zukunft Europas auf dem Spiel steht, ist dies ein außergewöhnlicher Verzicht auf Führungsstärke. Haben Sie in Ihren Monaten als Kanzler einen inhaltlichen Dialog mit Präsident Putin versucht? Hat Ihr Außenminister einen inhaltlichen Dialog mit Außenminister Lawrow versucht? Echte Gespräche, die den Kalten Krieg beendet haben. Die Antwort, soweit die öffentlichen Aufzeichnungen zeigen, ist nein. Nicht ein einziges Mal. Und nicht aus Mangel an der Erkenntnis der Dringlichkeit.
Die vergangenen Tage haben eine gefährliche Beschleunigung gebracht, die jeden europäischen Geist fokussieren sollte. Beide Hauptstädte sind nun unter anhaltendem Angriff: Ukrainische Langstreckendrohnen sind tief in Moskau eingeschlagen, einschließlich ziviler Standorte; russische Raketen- und Drohnenangriffe gegen Kiew haben sich stark intensiviert. Ukrainische Drohnen sind in den Luftraum der baltischen Staaten eingedrungen, was die unmittelbare Aussicht auf einen Vorfall erhöht, der Europa direkt in den Krieg ziehen könnte. Ein schrecklicher ukrainischer Angriff auf eine Jungenschule in Lugansk hat die nur noch geringfügig vorhandene Zurückhaltung weiter erodieren lassen. Und am 25. Mai informierte Außenminister Sergej Lawrow auf Anweisung von Präsident Putin offiziell den Außenminister der Vereinigten Staaten, dass die russischen Streitkräfte nun „systematische und anhaltende Angriffe“ auf Einrichtungen und Entscheidungszentren in Kiew starten, und das russische Außenministerium hat darauf hingewiesen, dass die Vereinigten Staaten und andere Länder „die Evakuierung ihres diplomatischen Personals und anderer Bürger aus der Hauptstadt der Ukraine sicherstellen sollen“. Diese Botschaft ist der Prolog zu einer großen Eskalation. Diplomatie ist dringender denn je.
Der Weg, die Ukraine zu verteidigen, ist nicht fortgesetztes Abschlachten, sondern Frieden zu Bedingungen, die für alle Parteien annehmbar sind. Stattdessen sehen wir uns einer Eskalation gegenüber, mit mehr Toten, mehr Zerstörung und der wirklichen Aussicht auf einen Krieg, der sich über die Ukraine hinaus ausdehnt. Indem man immer mehr Waffen, immer größere Kriegsführungskapazitäten und immer lautere Demonstrationen der „Entschlossenheit“ fordert und signalisiert, dass Deutschland sich auf den Krieg vorbereitet, anstatt daran zu arbeiten, ihn zu beenden, hat man Berlin erlaubt, ein Beschleuniger zu werden, anstatt eine Bremse für einen europaweiten Krieg.
Deutschlands Verantwortung: Sechs Einzelheiten
Deutschland trägt eine tiefe Verantwortung für die Situation, mit der es jetzt konfrontiert ist. Bevor die deutsche Politik in Richtung Frieden zurückgesetzt werden kann, muss sich Deutschland mit der Bilanz ehrlich auseinandersetzen. Ich habe seit der deutschen Wiedervereinigung im Jahr 1990 sechs schwerwiegende Versäumnisse der deutschen Außenpolitik gegenüber Russland dargelegt.
Erstens - der 2+4 Vertrag und die NATO-Osterweiterung. Am 12. September 1990 unterzeichnete Deutschland in Moskau den Vertrag über die endgültige Einigung über Deutschland – den „2+4-Vertrag“ –, der die deutsche Wiedervereinigung vollendete. Dieser Vertrag wurde gesichert, weil Michail Gorbatschow von Hans-Dietrich Genscher, von Helmut Kohl, von James Baker und von anderen westlichen Führern feierlich versichert wurde, dass sich die NATO nicht nach Osten bewegen würde. Die freigegebene Aufzeichnung - einschließlich der jetzt öffentlichen Memoranden, die vom National Security Archive der George Washington University zusammengestellt wurden - ist eindeutig: Diese Zusicherungen wurden gegeben und waren zu der Zeit eindeutig dazu bestimmt, über das Gebiet der ehemaligen DDR hinaus nach Osteuropa zu gelten. Diese Zusicherungen wurden bis 1990 und 1991 bekräftigt.
Der 2+4-Vertrag schränkt die Platzierung der NATO-Truppen in der ehemaligen DDR ein und erinnert an die Grundsätze der Schlussakte von Helsinki, die betont, dass die Sicherheit keiner Nation auf Kosten einer anderen gehen sollte. Glaubt irgendjemand ernsthaft, dass die Sowjetunion sich um westliche Truppen auf dem Gebiet der ehemaligen DDR sorgte, den NATO-Truppen in Warschau, Vilnius oder Kiew aber gleichgültig gegenüberstand? Natürlich nicht.
Die Frage der NATO-Erweiterung wurde ausführlich diskutiert und ausdrückliche Zusicherungen der Nichtvergrößerung im Osten wurden von Deutschland an die sowjetischen Führer gegeben – und wurden dann gebrochen. Deutschland war der Hauptbegünstigte dieser Zusicherungen, die das quid pro quo für die Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands waren. Doch schon 1993 begannen die deutschen Staats- und Regierungschefs, die Verletzung dieser Zusicherungen zu fördern.
Zweitens: Das eigene Zeugnis von Bundeskanzlerin Merkel. In ihren Memoiren schreibt Angela Merkel mit auffälliger Offenheit, dass sie zum Zeitpunkt des Bukarester Gipfels 2008 verstanden habe, dass die Einladung der Ukraine und Georgiens in die NATO einer Kriegserklärung an Russland gleichkommen würde. Sie kannte die rote Linie Russlands. Und doch gab sie dem amerikanischen Druck nach und akzeptierte das Kompromisskommuniqué, dass die Ukraine und Georgien NATO-Mitglieder werden. Dieser einzige Satz setzte die Katastrophen von 2014 und 2022 in Gang. Merkels spätere Offenheit ist ein Geschenk an ihre Nachfolger: Sie hat Ihnen klar und in ihren eigenen Worten gesagt, was damals verstanden wurde. Deutschland sollte jetzt nicht so tun, als wäre es anders.
Drittens - Der Verrat des Abkommens vom 21. Februar 2014. Am 21. Februar 2014 vermittelte der damalige deutsche Außenminister Frank-Walter Steinmeier in Kiew zusammen mit seinen polnischen und französischen Amtskollegen eine Vereinbarung zwischen Präsident Janukowitsch und der Opposition. Das Abkommen sah eine Rückkehr zur Verfassung von 2004, die Bildung einer Regierung der nationalen Einheit und vorgezogene Präsidentschaftswahlen vor. Präsident Putin wurde konsultiert; das Abkommen wurde bestätigt. Es war eine ernsthafte diplomatische Leistung unter den Bedingungen intensiver Gewalt. Doch innerhalb von vierundzwanzig Stunden wurde Janukowitsch durch einen gewaltsamen Putsch gestürzt. Deutschland bestand nicht auf dem Abkommen, das es gerade garantiert hatte. Stattdessen unterstützte Deutschland nach dem Vorstoß der USA die neue Regierung, als hätte es keine Einigung gegeben. Diese Entscheidung überzeugte Moskau, dass man den westlichen Unterschriften nicht trauen könne.
Vierter — Minsk II. Im Februar 2015 verhandelte Bundeskanzlerin Merkel persönlich Minsk II im Normandie-Format und versprach die politische Unterstützung Deutschlands durch die am 12. Februar 2015 in Minsk verabschiedete Unterstützungserklärung. Sieben Jahre lang wurde die wichtigste politische Bestimmung – Autonomie für die Donbass-Regionen innerhalb einer souveränen Ukraine – von Kiew nie umgesetzt. Deutschland drängte Kiew nicht, die Autonomieregelung umzusetzen, für die es sich eingesetzt hatte - und Merkel räumte später ein, dass das Abkommen als Durchführungsmaßnahme genutzt worden war, um der Ukraine die Aufrüstung zu ermöglichen. Das sagte auch Präsident Hollande. Die Garantie war mit anderen Worten überhaupt keine Garantie. Es war ein Stratem – wieder einmal auf Geheiß Washingtons. Wieder einmal war die Botschaft an Moskau, dass westlichen Unterschriften nicht vertraut werden kann.
Fünftens: Nord Stream. Am 7. Februar 2022, im East Room des Weißen Hauses, kündigte Präsident Biden an - mit dem damaligen Bundeskanzler Olaf Scholz, der neben ihm steht -: „Wenn Russland einmarschiert... dann wird es keinen Nord Stream 2 mehr geben. Wir werden es beenden.“ Auf die Frage, wie er antwortete: „Ich verspreche Ihnen, wir werden das schaffen.“ Die Pipelines wurden sieben Monate später in einem Sabotageakt in der Ostsee zerstört. Die verfügbaren Beweise – die investigative Berichterstattung in den Vereinigten Staaten und Deutschland, die Spur, verfolgt von der deutschen Bundesanwaltschaft, und die öffentlichen Erklärungen ehemaliger Beamter – weisen überwiegend auf eine gemeinsame ukrainisch-amerikanische Operation hin. Das weiß die Bundesregierung seit langem. Und doch hat Deutschland der Öffentlichkeit erlaubt, den Verdacht auf Russland zu lenken, gegen die direkten Beweise, während ein Akt der Industriesabotage gegen die deutsche Wirtschaft unangeklagt und unbeantwortet geblieben ist.
Sechstens – Die Istanbul-Vereinbarung vom April 2022, die in Reichweite war. Nur wenige Wochen nach der Invasion Russlands im Februar 2022 trafen sich russische und ukrainische Unterhändler in Istanbul zu den Bedingungen eines Friedensabkommens: Ukrainische Neutralität außerhalb der NATO, multilaterale Sicherheitsgarantien, vereinbarte Truppengrenzen und die politische Lösung der Fragen des Donbass und der Krim im Laufe der Zeit. Die Vereinbarung erfolgte innerhalb weniger Tage nach der Unterzeichnung. Der ehemalige israelische Premierminister Naftali Bennett, einer der Vermittler, hat öffentlich bestätigt, dass der Deal nahe war und dass der Westen - insbesondere die Vereinigten Staaten und das Vereinigte Königreich - dazu übergegangen sind, ihn zu blockieren. Die Reise von Premierminister Boris Johnson nach Kiew im April 2022, bei der er die Ukraine anwies, das Abkommen nicht zu unterzeichnen, ist allgemein bekannt. Hunderttausende ukrainische und russische Leben und die breitere europäische Ordnung haben den Preis für diese Intervention zwischen den USA und Großbritannien bezahlt. Deutschland hat hierzu seine Stimme nicht erhoben – obwohl Deutschland mehr als jeder andere europäische Staat die wirtschaftlichen Folgen getragen hat.
Die zweite Katastrophe: Deutschlands wirtschaftliche Selbstzerstörung
Deine erste Sorge muss der Frieden sein. Die gestrige Nachricht aus Moskau zeigt uns, was die Stunde geschlagen hat. Doch parallel zur ersten entfaltet sich eine zweite Katastrophe: die vorsätzliche Zerstörung der deutschen Wirtschaft, bei der Berlin sowohl Autor als auch Opfer ist. Deutschlands Industriewirtschaft basierte auf dem Handel mit Russland. Die Zerstörung von Nord Stream und die anschließende Abtrennung der Handelsbeziehungen Deutschlands zu Russland haben dazu geführt, dass Deutschland Erdgas von den Vereinigten Staaten zu Preisen kauft, die um ein Vielfaches höher sind als das russische Pipeline-Gas, das es ersetzt hat. Das ist industrieller Selbstmord. Deutschlands chemischer Sektor, sein Stahlsektor, seine Glasindustrie, seine energieintensiven Hersteller – die eigentlichen Grundlagen des Mittelstands – verlieren Tag für Tag an internationaler Wettbewerbsfähigkeit. Qualifizierte Arbeitsplätze wandern aus der deutschen Wirtschaft ab. Und der deutsche Steuerzahler und der deutsche Verbraucher übertragen nationalen Reichtum von Deutschland auf amerikanische Gasproduzenten in einem Ausmaß, das im Nachkriegseuropa in Europa beispiellos ist.
Darüber hinaus verspricht die deutsche Regierung nun einen enormen Verteidigungsaufbau – Hunderte von Milliarden Euro im kommenden Jahrzehnt –, um für einen Krieg zu sorgen, den die Diplomatie leicht verhindern kann. Dies ist eine tiefgreifende Fehlallokation der nationalen Ressourcen. Die grundlegende Herausforderung für Deutschland in diesem Jahrzehnt ist die Wettbewerbsfähigkeit im digitalen Zeitalter. Bitte schicken Sie Ihren Außenminister nach Moskau oder laden Sie den russischen Außenminister nach Berlin ein. Bitte öffnen Sie die OSZE-Kanäle, die Deutschland zu verkümmern erlaubt hat. Bitte sagen Sie Kiew, dass es seine Angriffe auf zivile Ziele einstellen soll.
Am wichtigsten ist, dass bitte der deutschen Öffentlichkeit die Wahrheit gesagt wird: Dass ein ausgehandelter Frieden auf der Grundlage der ukrainischen Neutralität der realistische Weg aus der Katastrophe ist und dass die Wiederherstellung einer normalen Wirtschaftsbeziehung mit Russland der realistische Weg aus dem industriellen Niedergang Deutschlands ist.
Die Bedingungen einer akzeptablen Vereinbarung, die Deutschland vorschlagen könnte, sind klar. Die Kämpfe würden auf einer Waffenstillstandslinie stehen bleiben. Alle Seiten würden auf jeden zukünftigen Rückgriff auf Gewalt in der Frage der Grenzen verzichten. Die Ukraine würde ihre Neutralität wiederherstellen, und die NATO würde dauerhaft auf eine weitere Osterweiterung verzichten.
Europa und Russland würden die Wirtschaftsbeziehungen wiederherstellen und die Kriegstreiberei stoppen. Die OSZE würde wieder das zentrale Forum für europäische Sicherheit werden, mit dem grundlegenden Vorzeichen, dass die europäische Sicherheit unteilbar ist, nicht auf der Grundlage militärischer Blöcke, die Europa spalten. Neben diesem Frieden würde Deutschland seine nationalen Ressourcen auf die digitalen, KI-, Halbleiter- und Energieinvestitionen umleiten, die Deutschlands wirtschaftliche Zukunft erfordert.
Die Geschichte wird aufzeichnen, was Sie in den kommenden Wochen tun und was Sie nicht tun. So auch die deutsche Öffentlichkeit. So auch die Völker Russlands, der Ukraine und Europas im Allgemeinen. Es ist Zeit für Diplomatie, Herr Kanzler. Die Wahl liegt bei Ihnen.

English police are facing mounting scrutiny after officers handcuffed an 18-year-old university student as he bled to death following a fatal stabbing, allegedly after believing the attacker’s false claim that he had been the victim of a racist assault.
The case has sparked outrage across Britain, fueled political debate over policing and prompted calls for the release of body-worn camera footage from the responding officers.
Alan Mendoza, executive director and co-founder of the London-based Henry Jackson Society think tank, told Fox News Digital that the case reflected broader failures in British policing culture. "The killing of Henry Nowak shows how far the rot of political correctness has set into the British policing mentality," Mendoza said.
"The reflex attitude today appears to be to believe any and every claim that mentions racism," he added. "It clearly trumped actual murder in this case as a dying Mr. Nowak was arrested on the say-so of his Sikh assailant without any facts being established by the officers attending."
BRITISH POLICE RELEASE DETAILS ON SUSPECTS AFTER 'SHOCKING' TRAIN ATTACK, UPDATE ON VICTIMS
Vickrum Digwa, 23, was convicted Thursday at Southampton Crown Court of murdering Henry Nowak, an 18-year-old finance student at the University of Southampton, during a confrontation on Dec. 3, 2025.
Officers arriving at the chaotic scene initially treated Nowak as the suspect after Digwa allegedly claimed he had been racially abused and attacked. Officers handcuffed Nowak before realizing the severity of his injuries. He later collapsed and died at the scene despite attempts to administer first aid, according to Sky News.
Following the verdict, Hampshire Constabulary publicly apologized and referred the case to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC), England and Wales' police watchdog, for investigation. "I’m sorry that he was handcuffed and arrested in the moments before he lost consciousness," Temporary Deputy Chief Constable Robert France said in a statement reported by Sky News.
Prosecutors told jurors Digwa stabbed Nowak multiple times using a 21-centimeter blade described in court as a Sikh kirpan-style weapon. Digwa claimed he acted in self-defense after being racially abused, but jurors rejected that argument and found him guilty of murder.
The case has since ignited fierce public debate online and in British media over whether police prioritized allegations of racism over basic investigative and medical procedures.

Jenrick also criticized what he described as a muted response from Britain’s political establishment compared to reactions following the 2020 death of George Floyd in the United States.
"The Prime Minister says absolutely nothing. The Home Secretary says absolutely nothing."
The killing has also raised concerns about hostility toward Britain’s Sikh community, which Sikh organizations have sought to distance from the crime.
In a public statement issued following the verdict, Sikh community organizations condemned the killing and stressed that the case should not be viewed as representative of Sikhism.

The statement further emphasized that legal protections allowing Sikhs in Britain to carry ceremonial kirpans for religious purposes do not apply if the blade is used violently.
"We understand in this case the weapon that may have been used was not the normal Kirpan worn by fully practicing Sikhs," the statement read.
Mendoza stressed that Britain’s Sikh community broadly condemned the murder and supported the investigation.
"It’s legal for Sikhs to carry ceremonial knives in the U.K. but they are almost always tiny ones that religious authorities have ordained are sufficient to fulfil the obligation," Mendoza told Fox News Digital. "He had one of those, plus his [8 inch] blade."
He also described Digwa as "a weapons nut," referencing evidence presented during the trial that prosecutors said showed the defendant had a fascination with knives and weapons.
The IOPC investigation into the officers’ actions remains ongoing. Fox News Digital reached out to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary for comment but did not receive a response before publication.

A French mother who allegedly abandoned her two young children in a forest in Portugal while blindfolded was arrested with her former law enforcement boyfriend while eating at a café near Libson.
Marine Rousseau, 41, was taken into custody Thursday with Marc Ballabriga, 55, two days after the couple allegedly dumped her helpless 3- and 5-year-old children in a remote forest and left, according to Portuguese and French media.
"They stayed sitting and didn’t seem nervous," café owner Jorge Lopes told the news outlet. "They were searched and handcuffed without any stress at all. When I saw them so at ease in front of the authorities, I was astonished. It was as if they didn’t have blood running through their veins."
The boys were found crying and alone 125 miles away, MetroUK reported.

Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor, the Metropolitan Police’s counterterrorism chief, said the attack has been officially classified as terrorism as investigators work to determine the motive and whether the Jewish community was deliberately targeted.
Officers were called to Highfield Avenue in the Barnet borough at about 11:16 a.m. following reports of multiple stabbings, according to the Metropolitan Police. Local and armed officers responded alongside the London Ambulance Service.
A 45-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remains in custody, police said. Authorities are working to determine his nationality and background.

Carolina Flores Gómez, 27, was found dead inside an apartment in the Polanco neighborhood, one of the city’s most affluent areas, Reporte Índigo, a Mexico-based news outlet, reported.
Authorities said the death is being investigated as a homicide, after initial findings indicated she suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency responders were called to the scene, where paramedics confirmed she showed no signs of life.
Prosecutors are investigating whether Flores Gómez’s mother-in-law, Erika María, as well as a man described in reports as her partner or husband, may have been involved in her death.

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum indicated Monday that she would call for explanations regarding what U.S. and Mexican officials were doing when they died due to a car accident in Mexico.
Sheinbaum said her government would investigate the incident to ensure no laws were broken after the deaths on Sunday, adding that state governments must have authorization from Mexico’s federal government to collaborate with U.S. and other foreign entities "as established by the Constitution," according to The Associated Press.
The deadly incident, which killed two U.S. embassy personnel and two individuals with the Chihuahua State Investigation Agency (AEI), occurred after a drug-related operation in Mexico.
"It was not an operation that the security cabinet was aware of," Sheinbaum said, according to the AP. "We were not informed; it was a decision by the Chihuahua government."

In a statement issued Sunday, César Jáuregui Moreno, the Chihuahua state attorney general, announced the deaths "of the members of the State Investigation Agency, as well as two instructor officers from the United States Embassy, who died in an accident while returning from the operation to destroy clandestine laboratories in the municipality of Morelos," according to an English translation.
The attorney general indicated in another statement that there were no foreign agents involved in the operation and that it was not connected to the accident.

"In order to avoid speculation and misunderstandings surrounding the operation that led to the discovery of a drug lab in the community of El Pinal, in the Sierra de Chihuahua, the Attorney General of the State, César Jáuregui Moreno, specified that only elements of the State Investigation Agency (AEI) and the Mexican Army participated in it," the April 20 statement said, according to an English translation.
"With the above, he rules out the intervention of foreign elements, however, he specified that instructors from the United States were in the state and in a neighboring community, but for other purposes, such as teaching in the handling of drones," the office said. "He stated that around 80 officers participated in the seizure of the drug lab, 40 of them from the AEI and another 40 from the Secretariat of National Defense (DEFENSA)."

"They got into the vehicle at approximately two in the morning, and suffered the accident in which they lost their lives when it went off the road into one of the ravines in the area," Jáuregui Moreno said, also noting "there was never any involvement of any foreign agent in El Pinal."
He noted there "were no U.S. agents in the operation to secure the narco-lab," according to the AP.
US MILITARY ANNOUNCES ANOTHER DEADLY STRIKE AGAINST 'NARCO-TERRORISTS'
The outlet reported that the Mexican Security Cabinet confirmed that the army and state prosecutor's office executed a joint effort over the weekend in Chihuahua targeting drug labs in the same place, Morelos.
U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Ronald Johnson said in part of a Sunday post on X, "We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of two U.S. Embassy personnel, the Director of Chihuahua’s State Investigation Agency (AEI), and an AEI officer in this accident."
"We honor their dedication and tireless efforts to confront one of the greatest challenges of our time. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their loved ones. This tragedy is a solemn reminder of the risks faced by those Mexican and U.S. officials who are dedicated to protecting our communities. It strengthens our resolve to continue their mission and advance our shared commitment to security and justice, to protect our people," he added.
The U.S. State Department did not provide further comment to Fox News Digital on Tuesday.

Erneut geplatzte Friedensverhandlungen?
Der Iran soll daraufhin noch am Sonntag, den 19. April 2026 erklärt haben, dass er nicht an den geplanten Verhandlungen teilnehmen wird und kündigte „Vergeltungsmaßnahmen“ an. (4) Die Absage des Iran wurde von der staatlichen Nachrichtenagentur IRNA bekannt gegeben. Der Sprecher des iranischen Außenministeriums, Ismail Baghai erklärte in einer Pressekonferenz in Teheran, dass aktuell keine weitere Verhandlung geplant sei. (5) Somit scheint es kurz vor der Beendigung der zweiwöchigen Waffenruhe zu keinen gemeinsamen Verhandlungen mehr zu kommen. (6)
Laut der russischen Nachrichtenseite rt.de scheinen die geplanten Verhandlungen jedoch bereits vor der Kaperung des Frachtschiffes auf Eis gelegen zu haben, da der Iran laut arabischen Medien als Begründung für die Absage zusätzlich die überzogenen Forderungen der USA nannte. (7)
Statt der zweiten gemeinsamen Verhandlungsrunde zwischen den USA und dem Iran fanden am Montag nun zwei getrennte Treffen statt. Der pakistanische Innenminister empfing die Delegationen der USA und dem Iran getrennt voneinander. (8) Nach aktuellen Informationen soll eine endgültige Entscheidung über die Teilnahme der iranischen Delegation an einer zweiten gemeinsamen Verhandlungsrunde noch nicht gefallen sein. Solange die USA ihre Seeblockade der iranischen Häfen nicht unterlässt, wird es wohl keine Gespräche geben, teilte ein iranischer Insider der Nachrichtenagentur Reuters mit. (9)
Sollte diese Verhandlungsrunde tatsächlich nicht stattfinden, wäre dies die zweite Verhandlungsrunde, die geplatzt ist. (10) Die erste fand vor knapp zwei Wochen statt. Jedoch verließ die iranische Delegation die Verhandlungen frühzeitig, da die USA bereits damals schon überzogenen Forderungen nannten. (11)
Es hat den Anschein, als ob die USA eindeutig nicht an einem Frieden interessiert sind, sondern einzig und allein an der Vorherrschaft über das iranische Öl. Denn allein dies gibt den USA die Kontrolle über die Wirtschaft in Asien und vor allem auch über China.
Internationale Reaktion
Die Webseite Tagesschau.de berichtete, dass der Sprecher des chinesischen Außenministeriums, Guo Jiakun erklärte, dass die Straße von Hormuz eine internationale Wasserstraße sei und eine ungehinderte Durchfahrt von Schiffen im gemeinsamen Interesse der Staaten der Region und der internationalen Gemeinschaft liege. Zusätzlich fügt er hinzu:
„Wir hoffen, dass alle Beteiligten verantwortungsbewusst handeln, das Waffenruheabkommen einhalten und eine Eskalation der Spannungen oder eine Verschärfung der Konflikte vermeiden“.
China kritisierte zudem die Eroberung des iranischen Tankers durch die USA. (12)
Verstöße gegen Waffenruhe
Am 08. April 2026 verkündeten die USA, Israel und der Iran eine zweiwöchige Waffenruhe. (13) Sowohl der Iran als auch die USA werfen sich nun gegenseitig Verstöße gegen die zweiwöchige Waffenruhe vor. (14) Der Sprecher des iranischen Außenministeriums erklärte, dass die USA nicht ernsthaft an diplomatischen Verhandlungen interessiert sei. Als Begründung nannte Baghai Verstöße gegen die Feuerpause, wie die Seeblockade sämtlicher iranischer Häfen durch die USA und die Eroberung des Frachtschiffes. Zusätzlich verwies er auf die Lage im Libanon. Auch hier wird die seit vergangenem Freitag, den 17. April 2026 vereinbarte Waffenruhe zwischen der pro-iranischen Hisbollah und Israel nicht eingehalten. Nach wie vor finden hier Kämpfe zwischen Beirut und der israelischen Armee statt. (15)
Die USA wiederum werfen dem Iran Angriffe auf ein französisches und britisches Schiff vor, die am Samstag, den 18. April 2026 erfolgt sein sollen. Zusätzlich kritisierte Trump die erneute Sperrung der Straße von Hormuz durch den Iran. (16)
In einem Telefongespräch mit Bloomberg soll Donald Trump erklärt haben, dass die Straße von Hormuz solange unter US-Blockade bleibe, bis es zu einer Einigung kommt. (17) Des Weiteren fügte er hinzu, dass die Waffenruhe nach ihrem Ablauf „höchst wahrscheinlich“ nicht verlängert wird. (18)

Am 07. April 2026 veröffentlichte Donald J. Trump auf seiner Social-Media Plattform Truth Social einen Post, der mit dem folgenden Satz begann:
„Eine ganze Zivilisation wird heute Nacht sterben und niemals wieder zurückkehren.“ (19)
Während öffentlich immer häufiger darüber diskutiert wird, ob Trump seinen Verstand verloren hat, scheint sich kaum jemand die Frage zu stellen, ob Trumps verbale Entgleisungen gegenüber dem Iran nicht vielleicht eher durch Erpressung zu erklären sind. (20) Denn, wenn man zu etwas gezwungen wird, was man nicht tun möchte, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit sehr groß, dass man ungehalten wird.
In diesem Zusammenhang ist es interessant, dass Trump wiederholt am Montag, den 20.04.2026 auf Truth Social betont hat, dass Israel ihn nicht zum Krieg gegen den Iran gezwungen hat. Diese erneute Betonung lässt eher darauf schließen, dass Trump sehr wohl unfreiwillig in den Krieg mit dem Iran durch Israel hineingezogen wurde. Wörtlich schrieb er:
„Israel hat mich nie zu einem Krieg gegen den Iran überredet. […] und wenn Irans neue Führung (Regimewechsel!) klug ist, kann Iran eine großartige und wohlhabende Zukunft haben! Präsident DJT.“ (21)
In diesem Zusammenhang ist auch interessant, dass kürzlich ein Video von dem Ex-Model, Amanda Ungaro veröffentlicht wurde. Sie war 20 Jahre mit Trumps jetziger Frau, Melania Trump befreundet. (22) In diesem Video droht Ungaro damit, Beweise zu haben, dass Trump pädophil sei und ihn auffliegen lassen wolle. Soweit so gut. Diese Anschuldigungen von Pädophilie sind nicht neu. Das mehrere Seiten aus den ursprünglich veröffentlichten Epstein-Akten wieder vom Netz genommen wurden ist auch nicht neu. Jedoch scheint sich niemand eine bestimmte Frage zu stellen. Warum werden die Namen der Täter geschwärzt?
Die offensichtlichste Antwort auf diese Frage ist natürlich, dass diese Personen der Strafverfolgung entgehen wollen. Aber ist dies die ganze Wahrheit? Es ist bekannt, dass auch Richter, Polizisten und Anwälte unter den Tätern zu finden sind. Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Täter tatsächlich bestraft werden, ist demzufolge sehr gering. Zumindest solange dieses System noch existiert.
Niemand scheint sich die Frage zu stellen, wer nun die Position von Epstein bekleidet. Der Grund, warum die Namen der Täter geschwärzt bleiben, ist vermutlich nicht, um die Täter zu schützen, sondern, weil dieses Netzwerk nach wie vor existiert und weiterhin aktiv ist. Falls Epstein tatsächlich noch leben sollte, wird es vermutlich noch von ihm selbst weiter geführt. Ein Anzeichen dafür, dass durchaus die Möglichkeit besteht, dass das Netzwerk von Epstein tatsächlich noch aktiv ist, ist, dass es vor Epstein bereits Männer gab, die dieses Netzwerk aufgebaut haben und in den gleichen Kreisen unterwegs waren, wie Epstein. Politiker, Richter, Stars und Sternchen waren dabei die Zielgruppe für Erpressung.
Die österreichische Nachrichtenplattform, AUF1 veröffentlichte hierzu einen Bericht und zeigt auf, dass es bereits vor Jeffrey Epstein drei Männer gab, die seine Rolle übernahmen. (23) Roy Marcus Cohen war Anwalt und Makler und verband Medien und Geheimdienste miteinander. Zudem war er ein enger Freund der Trump-Familie und galt als Ziehvater des heutigen US-Präsidenten.
Er war der erste Vorläufer von Epstein und der Erste, der ab 1950 im Stil von Jeffrey Epstein in New York agierte. Zu seinen Mitteln gehörten Verängstigung, Dossiers, Erpressungen und die Nutzung intimer Verwundbarkeit als Machtinstrument. Neben Roy Cohen betrieb Craig J. Spence ebenfalls ein Erpressernetzwerk in den 1970 er Jahren in Washington. Dieser war mit Roy Cohen eng verbunden und nutze dieselben Erpressermethoden. Zusätzlich nutzte er glamouröse Veranstaltungen in seinem Haus, um vor allem Politiker, einflussreiche Beamte und Angehörige des Militärs anzulocken, die dort überwacht und gefilmt wurden. Zudem nutzte er die Dienste eines Zuhälters namens Henry Vinson, der einen Homo-Escort-Service in Washington betrieb. Spence nutzte die Dienste von Vinson auch, um Partys für das Weiße Haus zu veranstalten.
Nachdem die Washington Times 1989 diese Machenschaften aufdeckte, implodierte dieses Netzwerk. Im selben Jahr wurde er tot im Hotelzimmer aufgefunden. Offiziell wurde sein Tod als Selbstmord deklariert. Henry Vinson wurde verhaftet und schrieb nach seiner Entlassung ein Buch über seine Erlebnisse. In diesem beschreibt er auch ein Treffen zwischen Spence, Cohen und dem republikanischen Parteifunktionär Lawrence E. King. Dieser betrieb ebenfalls ein brutales Erpressernetzwerk. Hier jedoch stand vor allem Pädophilie im Vordergrund. Bei diesem Treffen soll King auch über rituelle Gewalt an Kindern durch seine Kunden gesprochen haben. Seine Kunden stammten aus den Bereichen Politik und Justiz. Nachdem auch die Machenschaften von King Ende 1988 ans Licht kamen, wurde klar, dass die Kinder aus Kinderheimen stammten.
Die Frage scheint also nicht zu sein, ob Epsteins Netzwerk noch aktiv ist, sondern wer nun die Position von Epstein übernommen hat.

Police in London are on the hunt Wednesday for two masked suspects behind an attempted arson attack on a synagogue that is being treated as an "antisemitic hate crime."
The United Kingdom’s Metropolitan Police said the individuals, who were wearing "dark clothing and balaclavas," approached the synagogue in the Finchley neighborhood shortly after midnight Wednesday and "threw two bottles, suspected to contain petrol, and a brick at the building."
"We are aware of the significant concern that this incident will cause in the community, particularly in the wake of the arson attack in Golders Green last month," Detective Chief Superintendent Luke Williams said. "We are working with the affected synagogue and continuing to meet with community leaders."
"I would like to reassure the community that we take incidents of this nature extremely seriously and detectives are working urgently to identify the suspects," he added.

Police said neither bottle ignited and no damage or injuries were reported.
British prosecutors earlier this month charged three suspects — ages 17, 19 and 20 — in an alleged arson attack targeting Jewish community ambulances in north London.
The March 23 incident unfolded at around 1:45 a.m. in the Golders Green neighborhood, where four ambulances operated by a volunteer emergency service serving the Jewish community were deliberately set ablaze in a synagogue parking lot.

Paul Goldenberg, a law enforcement veteran of 37-years, deputy director of the Rutgers Miller Center on Policing and Community Resilience, which organized the initiative alongside the University of Virginia’s Center for Public Safety and Justice, spoke of the importance of the trip.
"Being here is a testament to who these officers are and to the oath they have taken to protect all communities, regardless of identity," he told Fox News Digital. "It is a commitment not only to ourselves, but to the people we serve. These are very challenging times, and the police, in all their forms, can play a significant role in sustaining democratic values.

Goldenberg said the Holocaust was unique in that it was a state-directed campaign in which police forces played a role, and that a central lesson is how the Nazis’ dehumanization of Jews and other targeted groups enabled the system to function. He added that the goal of the initiative is for participants to return to their departments with a deeper understanding that will help them better train officers, support victims of hate crimes and appreciate the importance and critical nature of their responsibilities.
He pointed to the urgency of the situation, noting that armed military units are now guarding synagogues in Western countries and that both the United States and Canada have deployed specialized police forces to protect Jewish institutions.

Abbie Talmoud, director for Jewish Community Affairs at the Embassy of Israel to the United States, survived a terror attack outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., in May 2025, in which two Israeli embassy staff members, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, were killed.
Speaking to Fox News Digital in Auschwitz, Talmoud said that amid rising antisemitism, feeling safe in the United States "is really difficult" and would require "systematic change," adding that she has stopped attending some events where she does not feel adequate security precautions are in place.
"There needs to be an understanding that the way we don’t allow racism for other races and ethnicities, we can’t allow antisemitism. It needs to come from the top — the school system, parents, governments," Talmoud said.
Catherine Szkop, director of public affairs at the Embassy of Israel to the United States, who focuses on interfaith relations and engagement, carpooled with Talmoud, Lischinsky and Milgrim to the event that evening and also survived.
"I have a family history tied to the Holocaust. In the Book of Names, I looked up ‘Szkop’ and saw a page taller than me filled with that name, along with dates and locations of those who were murdered. I realized my own name could have appeared there, with ‘murdered in Washington, D.C.’ written next to it," she told Fox News Digital at Auschwitz.
Szkop said she has never been this vigilant or fearful of potential attacks.

"I wear headphones less; it makes me more aware of my surroundings. It’s a mix of fear and wanting some peace of mind after what happened. I don’t let it stop me from living, but it’s made me a little more afraid," she said.
Jeanne Hengemuhle, superintendent of the New Jersey State Police, told Fox News Digital in Kraków that her agency, which includes 3,500 sworn members and 1,500 civilian staff, works closely with community leaders across the state to address hate-related concerns before they escalate into crises, emphasizing that early engagement, information-sharing and collaboration are key to preventing issues before they arise.
"We are law enforcement, but we are also part of the communities we serve, and we must recognize that role as the first line of defense," she said.
Hengemuhle said that, as human beings, there is a responsibility to do everything possible to combat hate, which requires understanding and educating one another, as well as drawing on different policing and professional backgrounds.
"This is my first year, and I am very humbled to have been invited to take part in the march and learn more. To me, it is about coming together and learning from what happened in the past so we do not allow it to happen again in the future," she said.
"The Holocaust did not happen overnight," she continued. "There were small, incremental changes that ultimately led to what took place. I think it is important that, by coming together and having these discussions, we ask whether we are seeing the kinds of early indicators that could lead us down a dangerous path — and how we intervene before it goes too far."
To this end, senior police officials and associations from Europe and North America signed a landmark memorandum of understanding (MOU) in Berlin earlier this month, formally launching a new transnational initiative titled "Not on Our Watch – The Democratic Policing Initiative."
The agreement brings together the German Police Union (GdP), the European Federation of Police Unions (EU.Pol), the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), the National Sheriffs’ Association (NSA), the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), the Small & Rural Law Enforcement Executives Association (SRLEEA) and the International Police Delegation, in collaboration with leading academic institutions.
The MOU formalizes a shared commitment among participating organizations to strengthen early threat detection and intelligence-sharing across borders, including establishing coordinated operational responses to emerging extremist threats, among other things.
Jim Skinner, sheriff of Collin County, Texas, and incoming vice president of the National Sheriffs’ Association, told Fox News Digital in Kraków that as a law enforcement leader, his responsibility is to serve everyone equally, noting that while there is significant partisanship and political division in the United States, law enforcement must serve and protect all communities equally.
"We all have an obligation to dig deep and make sure hate doesn’t happen on our watch, and to recognize that we have a fundamental responsibility to think critically about how to keep our communities safe," he said.
Skinner noted that North Texas is home to a large and vibrant Jewish community, which he said he is fortunate to serve. He added that he traveled to Israel shortly after the Oct. 7 attack with two other sheriffs and visited Kibbutz Be’eri, an experience he said he will never forget.
"I came away with important, practical lessons for my organization, but also with a deeper understanding of a world filled with hate. It reinforced for me that the authority entrusted to me by the people who elected me must be used wisely in how I approach my job each day — to ensure that something like that does not happen to the citizens where I live, and that if it ever did, we would have a proper and effective response," he said.
"I think about the march," he continued, "it honors Holocaust victims and serves as a reminder of the consequences of hate and the importance of standing against violence and intolerance. That’s the message I want everyone I have influence over to understand."
